Owner's description

Villa Flores towers above an all-green, privately owned tract of land that’s teeming with oleanders, pines, leylands, olives, palm trees, rose bushes and geraniums, as well as with protected plant species such as lentisks (Pistacia lentiscus), strawberry trees (Arbutus unedo), kermes oaks (Quercus coccifera) and Spanish Brooms (Spartium junceum), on a hillside within a free construction area. It has a view of the pine forest to the southeast and, to the east, of Toroneos Gulf, of the peninsula of Sithonia and, atmospheric conditions permitting, the peninsula of Agio Oros (Athos).

70 kilometres away from the airport and 85 kilometres from Thessaloniki city, 800 metres from the beach on the peninsula of Cassandra, on the boundaries of Kryopigi village, lies Villa Flores. The Villa is surrounded by a 5,500 square metre garden including a pool, a pergola, countless trees, bushes, plants and flowers and grass, all of which constitute a surrounding area of English aesthetics that’s fully equipped with garden furniture.

Our guests can make their purchases at Kryopigi village, 800 metres away from our Villa. Apart from the local organized beach, which has been awarded a blue flag by the European Union, there’s a wide selection of quiet, sandy beaches in the greater area, ideal for swimming and sunbathing. As further choices we suggest a trip around the peninsula of Cassandra and / or Sithonia by rental car. We believe, finally, that a trip to the mountainous regions of Chalkidiki such as Polygyros, Arnea and the Petralona cave, all of which lie within a 100-kilometre radius, will be an unforgettable experience.

The Villa is a two-floor building with a large living room with a fireplace, a large kitchen and five spacious bedrooms with an individual, fully equipped bathroom and an individual balcony each. In the living room, the classic antique sitting and dining furniture as well as the handmade Persian carpets promise a comfortable, pleasant stay together with an uninhibited view of Toroneos Gulf. The fully equipped, aesthetically modern kitchen is made of white lacquer wood, and houses an Italian walnut dining table that dates from the 70’s and an oil-burning heater of the same era. Each bedroom is decorated in its own particular style, thus offering a plurality to the general view of the house but, at the same time, creating unique spaces depending on the location and the orientation of each one of them. On the ground floor there’s the romantic pink room with a window view of the pool through the privets, and the yellow room, with Italian wooden bedroom furniture and a direct access to the pool. Going up the marble stairs, one comes across the largest room in the house, which overlooks the sea and the forest, equipped with off-white patinated bedroom furniture; a generally romantic touch. Moving on, there’s the room with the best view of the forest and, to the right and left, of the pool and the sea respectively, equipped with patinated iron bedroom furniture. Last of all, the relaxation room, with Italian marquetry bedroom furniture and an oriental-style mosquito net, which guarantees moments of relaxation along with a pool view.

Our guests are offered a change in sheets and towels and a cleaning of the Villa twice a week. Moreover, we’re in charge of gardening and pool maintenance. There’s at least one of our employees staying at the hut in the garden most weekends in the year, as well as several weekdays, in case our guests are in need of anything further during their stay. For anything else one may need apart from the above, one can contact us so that further arrangements are made. Finally, TV, satellite TV, Air Condition, DVD and CD player, a washing machine and a vacuum cleaner are available at the Villa. Free WiFi Internet is available.
