Skala Kallirachi is a small fishing village on the west side of the island. The village has a small harbor, a promenade, a small beach, several grocery stores, the bakery, meat shop, several taverns. Shortly, all that is needed for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Skala Kallirachi is a great place for fishing, and all lovers of the sport can enjoy it here.

Given that tourism is not the main business for residents of Kallirachi, the place is not a typical tourist village but lives its life regardless of the tourism season. If you are craving for a real vacation and you’re not a fan of crowds and commercial facilities Skala Kallirachi may be the right choice for you.

It can give you a beautiful view of the sea, watching the return of the fishermen at sunset, and slowly turning on the lights on the mainland in Kavala and on Mount Athos opposite of the Skala Kallirachi.

The city beach at Skala Kallirachi is small, not organized, with sand, gravel and small rocks.

On the coast, except promenade along the harbor, palm trees, benches in the shade, you can enjoy a glass of wine at a local tavern with a view of the sea and sunset.

When you wish crowds and fun, Limenaria, which is the second-largest town on the island, is located only 13km away and Potos is 18km. Skala Maries, with its three beaches and some excellent taverns, is only a 5-minute drive.

Port in Skala Prinos is less than 10 kilometers from Skala Kallirachi and therefore you have Kavala easily accessible. In Skala Prinos, you can visit the local market and Dasilio.
