If you are traveling from a non-EU country, a veterinarian certificate stating that the pet is in good health condition is also required, no later than 10 days before the trip. Are dogs allowed on Greek beaches?

Generally, there is no rule banning dogs from going to the beach in Greece. However, it is important that your dog does not disturb other people on the beach. This means no barking, no defecating in the sand, and no being off-leash. This particularly applies to large dogs. As for swimming, it is not allowed on popular and organized beaches. We often see dogs on such beaches, but if any of the other visitors report it to the police, you may have problems. Based on our experience, we advise you to avoid the most crowded beaches and go to less popular ones where your dog can also enjoy swimming in the sea. We have provided more details about vacationing with pets here.
