The 2026 season. The Serbian TAG does not work in Greece
Despite the announcement last season that it would work, it has still not happened. We will definitely announce as soon as it starts working.
The initiative to integrate these two systems was part of the regional “Toll4All” project, which enables contactless toll payment without stopping at toll booths in several Balkan countries, including Serbia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Croatia, and was supposed to include Greece as well.
It is positive that the entire and demanding project has been completed so that the beginning is possible when the conditions are met.
If you are planning a trip to Greece this summer, we recommend that you obtain the Greek TAG at the border crossing itself. The device is free and you can top it up on the spot or online.
