Anna Houhlia House is a well-maintained accommodation in Vourvourou, located in a prime location, nestled in a beautifully landscaped courtyard. It is an excellent choice for multiple families vacationing together, due to the well-appointed gazebo for socializing, as well as for those seeking a peaceful holiday.
The accommodation is situated 70m from the sea and about 900m from the nearest market and restaurants.
On the ground floor of the main building, there is a five-bed apartment with a bedroom featuring two queen-sized beds, while in the kitchen area, there is a queen-sized bed narrower than standard. The kitchen has been renovated and has a small fridge with a freezer compartment. Also on the ground floor, there is a triple studio whose kitchen is not separated by doors, but is distinct in the sense that at the entrance to the studio there is a single and a queen-sized bed narrower than standard, with the kitchen extending further. Another triple studio with one single and one queen-sized bed narrower than standard is also located on the ground floor. It has a shower separated from the toilet.
On the first and second floors, there are triple apartments for up to three people, with a queen-sized bed in the bedroom and a sofa in the kitchen area. These accommodation units have very small terraces. All the mentioned apartments have a small area.
On the first floor, there is a large apartment with two separate bedrooms, each with two queen-sized beds narrower than standard, or one single and one queen-sized bed narrower than standard. Each room has a TV, and the kitchen is physically separated and equipped with a fridge and a mini stove with an oven. The same type of apartment is also located on the second floor, with a better view of the sea. Both apartments have large and comfortable terraces and are considered slightly superior compared to the remaining accommodation units.
The guest house is a modest four-bed studio located next to the main building, with a very small area, two queen-sized beds narrower than standard, a kitchen without an oven, a bathroom without a curtain, and a small fridge.
Internet is available, but the signal can be quite weak and is better on the terraces than in the apartments. All accommodation units have air conditioning, TV, kitchen, and bathroom. There are mosquito nets everywhere on the ground floor, but none on the balcony doors on the upper floor.
The courtyard is charmingly landscaped, with a covered gazebo featuring a barbecue, a wooden table, and benches, as well as swings and toys for children. There is another smaller barbecue behind the main building. Opposite the gazebo, there are two hanging hammocks for relaxation. On the right side of the courtyard are parking and the guest house, next to which is a larger building with apartments, while on the left side of the building is a small house where the landlady lives.
To reach the accommodation, you will drive along the main street through Vourvourou from the direction of Nikiti, and after 1km, you will see Anna Houhlia House on the right side.
This accommodation is quite modest compared to all other houses in Vourvourou, but the prices are much lower, making it a good choice for guests who are not demanding and want to enjoy the beautiful nature and explore the surrounding beaches.
