Accommodation description

Violeta House in Milina welcomes guests from April to October. The house is a great choice for a pleasant holiday or a short break. We offer three apartments and three studios.

All units have a kitchen with a fridge and 2-hob cooker for the preparation of light meals. Cutlery and tableware are provided, as well as bath towels and bed linen. From balconies, you can admire an amazing view at the Pagasitikos Bay with its small islands.

We are located in the village of Milina in South Pelion, 50km from Volos, at a convenient position in front of the sea, surrounded by an enchanting landscape.

Apartment no. 1 for 4-5 persons (44m2 + 12m2 exterior corridor + 110m2 terrace) is located on the first floor. It has two bedrooms, a small kitchen and a small bathroom with shower. Each bedroom has one double bed and a sofa bed for one person. This apartment has also a large furnished terrace with a sea view.

Studios no. 2 and 4 for 2-3 persons (30m2 + 8m2 balcony) are located on the second floor and consist of a kitchenette, bathroom with a shower, one double and a single bed and a furnished balcony with a sea view.

Studio no. 3 for two persons (22m2 + 4m2 balcony): This studio is located on the second floor and consists of a kitchenette, bathroom with a shower, one double bed and a furnished balcony with unobstructed sea view.

Apartment no. 5 for 3-4 persons (24m2 + 8m2 balcony) is located on the third floor. It consists of a bedroom with one double bed and a single sofa bed, large kitchen with a single sofa bed, bathroom with a shower and a furnished balcony with unobstructed sea view.

Apartment no. 6 for 4-5 persons (43m2 + 14m2 balcony) is located on the third floor. It has two bedrooms, with one double i.e. two single beds, a separate kitchen with a single sofa bed, bathroom with a shower and a furnished balcony with unobstructed sea view.

Cleaning, as well as bed linen and towel replacement, is provided twice a week.

At 30m from the accommodation, you will find several taverns and a mini-market. The centre of Milina is 900m away and offers all the amenities for your daily needs. Along the boulevard, you have plenty of opportunities to taste local specialities and fresh fish, or to relax with a refreshing drink. During the summer months, there are several festivals in the village with music and dance content when visitors can enjoy drinking tsipouro.

Violeta House is an excellent starting point to explore our fascinating peninsula with divine beaches and plenty of opportunities for water sports, enjoyment and relaxation. Besides, Milina has the best sunsets you have ever seen!

The hostess is pleasant. The house and rooms are clean, tidy, and equipped with all necessary items. Towels and bed linens are changed every two to three days. The house is located right by the road leading to the beach. Cars pass by throughout the day and night, so it is not quiet. The house is built above the road, on a hill, making the first floor (where we stayed) equivalent to three or four stories high. Daily climbing can be quite exhausting, especially for those with heart conditions, elderly people, and individuals with other health issues, so they should be warned about this. To reach the beach, one simply crosses the road upon exiting the house. The beach is small but sufficient for the number of guests (private). It is not well-maintained, lacking umbrellas that are essential after 12 PM, and guests have to carry the loungers to the beach and return them afterward. Natural shade is available only until 12 PM. The sea is clean and warm.

Booking and cancellation terms

Deposit of 30% is required to confirm the reservation. Remaining balance should be payed first day upon arrival. If cancelled 21 or more days prior to arrival, paid money will be fully refunded. If cancelled at any time later, paid money is non-refundable. In the case of early departure, 50% of remaining days will be charged.
