We have just returned from Thassos, from the Giola apartment. We are extremely satisfied with the apartment, which is exceptionally clean, tidy, and spacious. The location was perfect for exploring the island by car, and there is always parking available in front of the house. The hosts are fantastic, always available to address any issues, uncertainties, recommendations, or advice, and they are very pleasant and kind to talk to. A strong recommendation for anyone considering this apartment!

Once again, we have arrived. This is the perfect place for a getaway. A peaceful and tranquil environment, with everything within reach - shops, the beach, the center... Neat, clean, and comfortable. The price-quality ratio is excellent. The hosts are friendly and always available when needed.

During the period from July 12 to July 24, 2023, we stayed in a triple studio on the second floor. The accommodation is exactly as depicted on the website nikana.gr. The kitchen is well-equipped. The owner of the accommodation is extremely kind and helpful. Cleanliness is of a high standard. The owner changes the bed linen every three days. There is plenty of parking space around the property. A larger, well-stocked market is located nearby. The property is situated in a quiet environment, not far from the beach and the town center. An excellent location for exploring the island.

The location is tranquil, free from noise and crowds. The gracious hostess welcomed us with coffee and ice cream, and sent us off with a gift for the child. Everything was clean and meticulous; all praise!

The first thing I must highlight regarding this accommodation is the exceptional kindness of the studio owner, that is, the property! The woman lives in the same building where the studios are located. Every two days, she personally cleans and tidies the studios, and every three days, she changes the towels and bed linens. I must mention that she also washes the dishes and organizes the wardrobe, which I do not expect at all, nor is it her obligation. The property is located 300-400 meters from the beach. It is closer to the sea in terms of a straight line, but you need to go down a few streets to reach the beach. The center of Limenarija is a ten-minute walk away. The property is situated on a small hill and is the last in the row. There are no random or intentional passersby, making it completely quiet and safe. Parking is available on the street next to the property. I would rather say it is semi-private than private parking. The street is not busy, and there are enough parking spaces nearby the accommodation. The studio we stayed in is not particularly comfortable. I know nothing about the other studios. The central room, bathroom, and terrace are quite small. It bothered us a bit that the bathroom is small, with a small shower basin without a glass or curtain. After showering, it tends to flood. The entire studio is modestly furnished and equipped. Nothing fancy or modern. This is not a complaint, just an observation. We knew what the accommodation looked like, so there were no surprises. The quality of the accommodation is in line with the price. This accommodation is suitable for people who do not require too much and need only a base where they do not spend much time, all for a reasonable price. The WiFi connection was occasionally lost, and the internet speed is too slow for any standard.

From July 17 to July 30, 2021, we stayed in a three-bed Giota studio. The appearance of the accommodation is exactly as shown in the pictures on the website. The owners, especially the landlady, are very pleasant and always available. All praise for them! The accommodation is exceptionally clean and tidy; every three days, when you return from the beach, everything is wiped and replaced. All praise for the accommodation for the price, but this year we experienced an unpleasant surprise regarding the Nikana agency. On two occasions, we needed their advice. None of the six phone numbers answered throughout the day. We tried countless times to get in touch, but to no avail.

We were accommodated in a double room with a view of the mountain, although from the terrace on the left side, the sea is also visible. The room is very beautiful, just like in the picture; it is not overly large, but perfectly sufficient for two. It has a small kitchen, a stove with two burners, a refrigerator, and complete dining and cooking utensils, ranging from plates, cutlery, glasses, and cups to pots, pans, ladles, and a coffee pot, so there is no need to bring any of that. The room also has a TV and air conditioning, both of which work well and are included in the price :) The terrace is nice, with a table and chairs, and since it faces west, one can enjoy a lovely breakfast outside in the morning, as the sun only comes out in the afternoon. We did not have any issues with wasps and hornets, although a few might pass by :) The hostess Jota is wonderful, very warm and unobtrusive, welcoming us with homemade coffee and a lovely cherry jam :) She is very meticulous; she cleans the room every day, and the bedding and towels are changed every three days. We had a few minor issues; there was a leak in the bathroom, which we reported, and while we were at the beach, the problem was resolved :) The house is located in an excellent spot, the beach is a five-minute walk away, quite decent, clean, and not crowded, while the city center is a ten-minute leisurely stroll. Nearby, just 200 meters away, there is a large market. The noise from the main road did not bother us; in fact, we didn't hear anything, making it a top-notch place for relaxation. Limenarija is a charming little town, everyone speaks Serbian, and even the menus in the restaurants are in Serbian. It has everything, from shops, restaurants, taverns, pastry shops, to boutiques, but when it comes to nightlife, that is generally not a strong point on Thassos. For those who love nature, peace, and the scent of pine forests, this is the right place for them. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. All praise for Nikana; everything we agreed upon was fulfilled without any complaints; Nikana comes highly recommended! As do Giota studios :) If we were to return to Thassos, we would choose the same place again, and they say, once you visit Thassos, you will return :)

An excellent accommodation in a great location, exceptionally quiet at night when sleep is needed, yet close enough to everything. There is ample parking available around the house, it is very clean, and the hostess is incredibly kind and always at your service, often going above and beyond. Truly, I have nothing but praise for this accommodation. It is cleaned daily, and towels and bed linens are changed approximately every three days. I highly recommend it!

A few years ago, we visited Giota studio and were thoroughly satisfied. The staff was discreet and attentive, always wearing a smile and exuding kindness. They fulfilled every promise they made. The best hosts we have ever encountered. We extended our stay with them for a few more days because we were reluctant to leave Tasos. They are vastly different from other Greeks.

Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the Giota studio. The accommodation is standard, but Giota's service, cleanliness, and hospitality are at a much higher level than we expected. The accommodation is exactly as described. The landlady is fine, unobtrusive, cleans daily, and changes the linens every three days. On the terrace with a view of the sea, there are a few more wasps, probably nesting under the roof. It isn’t a major issue if you don’t eat or drink anything on the terrace. Every evening we enjoyed the sunset and the view of the sea, being careful not to let the wasps invade our drinks or coffee. As for Tasos, since my first visit in 2012 until now... it’s like night and day. Everything has become highly commercialized, prices have risen, it’s crowded with Romanians and Turks, service in cafes and restaurants is poorer, lamb portions in Teologos have been halved, and almost all beaches are rented out, with very few remaining "wild". Even Giola is currently fenced off and will charge for entry, the access is arranged for cars... and there’s no water in the pool, as they are pumping it from the sea with hoses. The bright spot is the hike up Ipsarion, which I definitely recommend to anyone in good shape. Potos is complete chaos for parking, as always, especially at the end of August. Limenarija is slightly better in the evening, with more fine restaurants and fewer souvenir shops. Metalija and the mine are neglected and dirty, while the Crown of Limenarija on the hill above Metalija is an interesting viewpoint. Paradise beach is okay, Psili Amos, Roso Gremos, and Notos are decent, especially early in the morning when there are fewer crowds, while Aliki is unjustifiably overrated, even though the walk along the trim trail around the peninsula and the ancient shipyard is a completely new and phenomenal discovery for me. Limenas is decent, the amphitheater in Limenas seems to be under renovation, but it’s pointless. I recommend climbing above the amphitheater to the ancient ruins of some fortifications and reaching the top of that part with the Greek flag, from where you can see all of Limenas. Saliarija and Vathy are okay, except for a bit more crowd, the road is now good. The water is clean. Golden beach is good, but the water is full of grass. All other lesser-known beaches are neglected, with poor access for pedestrians, commercialized but not maintained. It had rained before our arrival, so that might be the reason for the poorer appearance. All in all, a favorable impression with an emphasis on the incredibly beautiful hike up Ipsarion from Potamie. It’s a shame to be in Tasos and not hike. Tasos was synonymous with tranquil wild beaches with clear water, untamed nature, and a pleasant climate. From all that, only a few oases of untamed nature and clear water remain... in the morning. In Tasos, do not seek peace anymore. It has been taken away by numerous Romanians. They sought adventure and received it. We are satisfied. Thank you to the Nikana team.

We stayed from July 17th to 27th in a three-person studio. The accommodation was excellent, the owner was very kind, and the cleanliness was at a commendable level. The location is superb. We were extremely satisfied with the privacy - a separate comfortable terrace ensures that neighbors do not intrude with their attempts at uninvited socialization - a wonderful feeling... A tranquil location perfect for rest and relaxation, the WiFi was excellent, and everything was as agreed.

Everything is excellent; I have no complaints regarding the apartment and the landlady. The apartment is fully equipped, the bedding is clean, and it has been changed three times.

The studio is very beautiful and functional. The landlady is pleasant and kind; she welcomed us upon our arrival and prepared a gift for us at our departure. The place is cleaned every day, and the bed linens and towels are changed every third day.

This year, we booked accommodation in Greece online for the first time. Based on a friend's recommendation, we chose the Nikana website. Among the options provided by Nikana, we selected Giota Studios in Limenarija. Our decision was influenced by the description on the website as well as the positive reviews from previous guests. The house is situated on an elevation, at the entrance to Limenarija from the direction of Prinosa. Although it is close to the main road, there is no noise. My husband and I were accommodated in a double studio that features a terrace with a sea view, where you can hear the sound of the waves in the morning and evening, enhancing the experience while enjoying your coffee. The house is about 200 meters from Grand Beach, and there is a well-stocked market and a gas station nearby. We arrived around 2 PM, and the hostess Giota welcomed us with Greek coffee and cherry sweets! After that, we settled into the studio we had reserved. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness; everything was impeccably clean! For the first time, I didn't have to wash the dishes in the kitchen before use, which I had always done until now! The hostess cleans the studio daily, takes out the trash, and if you leave any unwashed dishes, she gladly washes them for you! She changed our bed linens on the third day. Several times, she surprised us with sweet or savory breakfasts, or something delicious for lunch! All praise for her kindness and hospitality! We received many useful pieces of information regarding Limenarija and Thassos from her. You can buy a 5-liter canister of olive oil from her for 25 euros. That canister is placed on the table on the terrace in front of her apartment, so I asked for the price myself; she never offered me the oil for sale. She is truly a kind and unobtrusive woman who is always there when you need her. We had a problem with the drain in the bathroom, which was resolved while we were at the beach. We had a wonderful time in Thassos, visiting many places, and there is still more to explore, so we plan to return to Thassos in the coming years. I am confident that we will choose Giota Studios in Limenarija again due to the quality, kindness, and excellent location for exploring the island!

As every year, we spent this summer at Studio Giota in Limenarija. I can say that we have been vacationing at Studio Giota for 20 years. We cannot imagine summer without our wonderful Giota, with her big heart, hospitality, and her lovely family. We are always greeted warmly, with kindness and a smile, in a comfortable, impeccably clean, and safe studio. The studio is equipped with air conditioning and a kitchenette with all the necessary amenities. The bathroom is clean and tidy. The terrace is spacious, offering a beautiful view of Mount Athos and the stunning turquoise Aegean Sea. The parking is good. The house is situated in a lovely, quiet spot, on a hill where a gentle breeze always blows from the mountains. We cannot envision summer without this wonderful family, the Sevastos, Limenarija, and Tassos, even though we have traveled all over Greece. Next summer, we will return to our friends, to Giota. Thank you for all these years of your open heart and for everything. You have allowed us to feel at home.

We stayed from August 21 to August 31, 2016, in a triple studio with my husband, son, and myself. A few days ago, I returned from Tasos, where I spent my vacation with my girlfriend and friends. For years, we have been vacationing in Greece, but the hospitality we experienced at Giota's was unparalleled. The studio was exceptionally comfortable, fully equipped, and impeccably clean. Every morning, we were greeted by a view of the sea while enjoying our coffee on the terrace; the Wi-Fi signal was excellent, parking was secured, and the market was just fifty meters away. Grand Beach was only a few minutes' walk. The landlady deserves all the praise; everything was orderly and clean to perfection, and for several days, she treated us to delicious breakfasts. In the end, we all received gifts for a safe journey as a small token of appreciation. After sharing our impressions, other friends are already planning a trip to Giota's in Tasos next year, and our journey will likely lead us back to Mrs. Giota one day. Of course, Nikan and I will be vacationing again next summer :)

We stayed at Giota Studios from June 29 to July 9, 2016. The accommodation was excellent, and the hostess was phenomenal. She brought us homemade olive oil, tomatoes, and cucumbers from her garden, and very often prepared complete meals for us! She changed our linens twice, even though it wasn't necessary. She was incredibly kind, always ready to respond to any request and always available. Upon our departure, she prepared gifts for both us and the children. A place I highly recommend!

The hostess cleaned the apartments daily. Breakfast and lunch were a pleasant surprise. We received gifts at the end of our vacation. Jota is truly a person who maintains her apartments at a very commendable level. The view of the sea is excellent. We will gladly return as guests of Jota's apartments.

At the end of June 2016, I stayed with my boyfriend at Jota's in a double studio with a matrimonial bed and a stunning view of the sea. The room was decent, just like in the picture, and the air conditioning worked excellently (it was truly hot, and at night we had to close the terrace doors because of the mosquitoes) and was included in the price. Jota is wonderful! We received breakfast twice, and one evening we even had pancakes! In the end, we were given a bottle of wine for the journey, which was a lovely gesture. The cleanliness was top-notch; during our modest seven-day stay, the linens and towels were changed halfway through, and our room was cleaned and tidied every day. All in all, for that price, we were more than satisfied with the accommodation, especially the service, and we would definitely come back! My wife and I stayed at this property from July 7, 2014, to July 17, 2014. We were very satisfied with the accommodation and absolutely delighted with Tasos, ready to recommend it to everyone. The owners were unobtrusive, exceptionally attentive, and kind people. The hostess prepared meals for us several times, using vegetables from her garden, and the bed linens were changed three times.

From August 21 to August 30, 2014, I was with my girlfriend. I can't believe I forgot to write my review. And here I am, writing it now after receiving nothing less than a postcard, and for New Year's at that. Some might say this is all just marketing, but to me, it seems like genuine care for their guests. All praise goes to her and her husband. They are calm and cheerful people. We heard that she sometimes surprises guests with breakfast - and it's true. We were also pleasantly surprised with a small gift for our departure :)

My wife and I stayed at Giota studio in a double room from August 20 to 30, 2013. We were satisfied with the accommodation. The hostess's kindness was exceptional. The bed linens were changed three times during our stay. The area is peaceful, free from nighttime noise, making it an excellent location for exploring the island. P.S. Little surprises, like the breakfast the hostess brings, are a real hit for us!

We were guests at Villa Giota from July 9, 2011, to July 19, 2011. The accommodation was excellent, the hosts welcomed us warmly, and the room was impeccably clean upon our arrival. Every day, the hostess cleaned while we were at the beach, even washing the dishes, which later made us feel embarrassed, so we started doing it ourselves. Our bed linens were changed twice. The bathroom was quite decent, with hot water available. The terrace is small but sufficient for two people to sit and enjoy the view of the sea and the sunset (make sure to request a room with a sea view). The villa is located on a hill before entering Limenarija from the direction of Skala Marion. It takes about ten minutes of leisurely walking to reach the promenade. The city beach is approximately 200 meters away. A supermarket is available once you descend from the hill.

Two couples, accommodated at Giota's in Limenarija. The beach is a five-minute leisurely walk away, although we explored the entire island by car. The place is small but charming. The Greeks are friendly, as is standard. The accommodation is average for the price. Our hostess, Giota, was exceptionally kind; on several occasions, she prepared meals for us, pancakes, various pastries, and provided us with olive oil for our salad, fresh vegetables from her garden, and so on. At the end of our vacation, she even gave us gifts! This woman delighted us, always smiling, friendly, etc. I can recommend a restaurant in Teologos where we had lamb and such. I can't recall the rest...
