Accommodation at Athina Dimitris Sofia Apartments is located about 100m from the beautiful sandy Platania beach next to Sarti. The center of Sarti with taverns, markets, and bakeries is about 2.5km away from the accommodation.
It consists of two buildings situated in a very spacious courtyard.
The first building houses two quadruple studios (25-30m2) with a separate bedroom with one double bed and two single beds. The kitchen is separate and fully equipped with utensils for meal preparation, and there is also a dining table. Both have a lovely veranda overlooking the courtyard and are located on the high ground floor.
The second building is slightly above and consists of four triple studios (20-25m2) on the ground floor, each with one double and single bed. The kitchens are equipped and completely renovated, while the bathrooms are a bit older. Each studio has a beautiful veranda with a table and chairs.
The units in both buildings feature a TV, bathroom, balcony, and equipped kitchen (stove, small refrigerator), as well as mosquito nets on the windows. They do not have air conditioning, as the owners believe it is not necessary since the units are on the ground floor and are pleasant and fresh.
The accommodation is very clean and tidy, although a bit older. Upon arrival, guests enter a clean and tidy accommodation, receive new towels and linen every 3-4 days, and are responsible for their own replacement and cleaning. The owners do not enter the studios and trailer during the guests’ stay.
The complex is fenced and secure, and the courtyard is spacious, with seating sets and ample shaded parking spaces. Guests have at their disposal two built-in barbecues, one kitchen and built-in oven, wireless internet, two showers, and about ten sun loungers, while a small part of the shaded yard is adapted for children and has plenty of toys.
Platania Beach is sandy, with a gradual depth. Part of it is organized, while a large part is available to visitors with their own equipment. The advantage of this beach is that it is never crowded. The center of Sarti is about 2.5km away, making it relatively close for evening walks. Nearby are the famous beaches Orange and Mega Portokali (7km), as well as Klimatarija, Tigania, Valti, Agridia, Turkolimnionas, and many others.
If you are traveling from the north on the main road Sarti-Sikija, after exiting Sarti, you will turn left onto a dirt road to Platania Beach. You will drive straight on that road for about 200m, and then you will see this accommodation on your right.
This accommodation would be a good choice for undemanding guests for whom the proximity to the beach is imperative and who want to spend their vacation in a peaceful place.
