Blue sea beach

Blue Sea Beach is a true gem of southern Sithonia, located next to Tigania Beach.

Brief description of the beach:

  • Beach: one of three bays in a row, with the Blue Sea beach bar
  • Facilities: beach bar with sun loungers (with a purchase), food and drinks, toilets
  • Sea: clean and calm, typical for this part of Sithonia
  • Atmosphere: peaceful, but very crowded in recent years
  • Note: no showers, no outside food and drinks allowed

How to get to the beach?

  • There are no proper signs for the beach, but you can follow the handwritten signs on the asphalt that lead to the beach.
  • If you are coming from Klimataria beach, it is best to continue straight under the viaduct, then turn right onto a dirt road and go up to climb the viaduct and cross it.
  • From there, you will already see signs for the Blue Sea beach, as well as for Tigania beach located right next to it, which is one of the two beach bars.
  • The path to the beach is partly concrete, but you should drive carefully and slowly due to damage and potholes.
  • There is a parking lot near the beach from where you need to walk a few more minutes to reach the beach.

Beach description:

  • Blue Sea Beach is one of the three bays located there.
  • The first two have the Tigania bar and beach, while the third has the Blue Sea bar.
  • In recent years, this beach has been extremely popular.
  • What is interesting is that these two bars, Tigania and Blue Sea, are identical.
  • The sunshades are made of reeds, blending perfectly into the exotic look of these lovely beaches.
  • The bar provides sunshades, so if you don’t have your own, it’s good to arrive early to secure a spot on the beach.
  • The prices in both bars are the same, and the rental of sun loungers and sunshades is free, just order a drink.

If you enjoy peace, you can stay here until sunset.

There are no showers on the beach, only portable toilets. If you plan to spend the whole day at the beach, it’s good to know that the bars offer souvlaki, fries, and salad, with portion prices around 10€.

On both beaches, as well as in most bars in Sithonia, bringing your own food or drinks is not allowed.

Nearby, there are famous beaches:

So, you can visit one of them on the same day. You can also take advantage of the trip to the beach to have dinner at the famous “5 Steps in the Sand” restaurant on Limanaki Beach in Sikia.

This part of Sithonia is one of our favorite corners.
