Hotel Potos is a complex of accommodation facilities located in the heart of Potos. It is a very beautiful and popular family hotel with a lovely courtyard, a pool, a restaurant, and friendly staff.
The hotel is 200m away from the city beach.
Hotel Potos consists of four separate buildings.
The first building is located near the children’s playground and consists of four studios with a small kitchen and one large apartment with two bedrooms. Two studios are located on the ground floor, the other two on the first floor, and the apartment is on the second floor. All studios have one double bed and the possibility of adding one or two extra beds with standard mattresses. The base of the extra beds is metal, but the bed height and quality are the same as with a traditional hotel bed. These studios have small kitchens with two burners, not intended for cooking, but for preparing light meals or reheating food for small children. Two studios on the ground floor have a renovated kitchen with more modern hanging parts and flat burners, while the two studios on the first floor have a slightly older kitchen with two burners. All four studios have a small refrigerator with a freezer compartment. The bathrooms in all studios have glass on one side.
Both ground floor studios open directly onto the children’s playground with toys and are suitable for families with children and wheelchair users (the studios have no steps, and the bathrooms are adapted for people with disabilities). The two studios on the first floor share a terrace, but each has its own seating area. This terrace overlooks directly towards the sea.
On the second floor is the Filipos apartment (75m2), which welcomed its first guests in the summer of 2024. This apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room with a kitchen and dining area, and a balcony with a sea view. The Filipos apartment is furnished with modern furniture, and the kitchen has a large fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator and stove. Both bedrooms have a double bed, and the living room has a corner sofa where two small children or one adult can be accommodated.
This property is the smallest of all in the complex and is slightly set back from the pool, offering the most peace and the best conditions for families with children. The studios are of medium size (around 20m2) as doubles, and adding extra beds significantly reduces the space.
The second building is central, located above the reception, and is also the largest. It has a total of 10 rooms, two junior suite apartments, and two apartments with two bedrooms. The building was renovated in November 2011.
All rooms (around 15m2) are equipped with quality and modern furniture in soft tones, which vary in color from room to room. The bathrooms are modern with a shower cabin. The rooms have one double bed or two single beds, as well as the possibility of adding an extra bed with a standard mattress suitable for an adult. Each room has a mini-fridge. Some rooms have a direct sea view, rooms with corner terraces overlook both the pool and the sea, while others overlook the village and other buildings. There is an elevator in this building.
The junior suite apartments (around 20m2) have no kitchen, like all rooms in this building. They consist of a bedroom with two single beds combined and a living room with a sofa for two people. The living room contains air conditioning and a TV.
The apartments with two bedrooms (around 22m2) do not have a living room or kitchen. You enter one bedroom from the hotel hallway, then there is a small hallway leading to the bathroom and the other bedroom.
The third building is right next to the pool and has 15 rooms, five on each floor. The terraces of all rooms on the first and second floors in this building overlook directly towards the sea, the courtyard, and the pool. Only the verandas of the ground floor rooms do not overlook the sea but the pool. Five rooms are located on the ground floor (you descend two to three steps to the entrance) and these rooms are the most modernly equipped as they were built a few years ago. All rooms have one double bed, while two rooms also have a sofa for one person.
The first and second floors have the same room layout. Each floor has five rooms: one triple, one quadruple, and three double rooms. Double rooms have a double bed and the possibility of adding an extra bed for a third person, triple rooms have one double and one single bed, while quadruple rooms have one double bed and a corner sofa for two people. The quadruple rooms are slightly larger than the others.
The last building is a very interesting villa, as the owners call it. It is a one-story house that includes five apartments (around 25-35m2).
Two apartments are located on the ground floor (villas no. 1 and no. 2) and consist of a bedroom and a living room with a mini kitchen. They open directly onto a separately paved courtyard with small green areas, seating sets, and ample space in the shade for socializing and children’s play. A few steps lead to the courtyard with the pool. These apartments are ideal for large families who want more privacy in the yard. The bedroom has a double bed, and in the living room, one apartment has a corner sofa for two children, and the other two single beds, with the possibility of adding another extra bed.
One apartment is on the same level as the courtyard (villa no. 3) and also consists of a bedroom and a living room. The bedroom has a double bed, and the living room has a sofa for two people, as well as a fairly large kitchen with a small stove and oven. In front of the apartment, there is a seating set.
On the upper floor is a large apartment (villa no. 4), suitable for larger families. The apartment consists of a living room with a modern sofa bed for two people, a kitchen, and two bedrooms. Each bedroom has a double bed. It has a large balcony with a view of the pool and the sea. The second apartment on the upper floor (villa 5) is smaller and has a living room and one bedroom. The living room contains a large kitchen with a stove and a large fridge, a sofa bed for two people, and the bedroom has a double bed. This apartment also has a large balcony with a view of the sea and the pool.
All apartments in the villa have two air conditioners.
The villa apartments are ideal for large families. The building is close to the pool and slightly secluded, providing guests with their own privacy. The villa apartments were renovated in 2025, so you will enjoy modern and nicely arranged apartments.
All accommodation units within the complex have wireless internet, satellite TV, air conditioning, and a hairdryer. Some rooms have a safe, and you can request an iron at the hotel reception if needed.
Hotel guests can use the pool, as well as the services of the bar and restaurant. The restaurant offers a rich buffet breakfast (5-6 types of coffee, milk, various types of cold cuts and dairy products, etc.). Breakfast is served from 8 am to 10 am.
Cleaning is done daily, while bed linen and towels are changed every three days.
The hotel does not have private parking, but there are two large and free public parking lots nearby (at 100 and 200m).
The hotel is in an excellent location. Although it is a few steps from the promenade, it is protected from traffic and noise. From the courtyard, you can directly access the promenade where you can find a supermarket, bakery, pastry shop, souvenir shops, fast-food restaurants, etc.
Arriving from the direction of Limenaria, after Alexander Beach Hotel (on the main road) turn half-right to the first street that leads towards the sea. You’ll see the gate of Hotel Potos 100m after the turn. On a board next to the gate, it’s written Restaurant Loukoulos.
