When traveling to Greece, finding restaurants with gluten-free options is not always easy, especially if you have celiac disease or are on a strict gluten-free diet. However, in recent years, more and more restaurants in Halkidiki have been paying attention to the needs of guests who avoid gluten.
In a discussion in a Greek Facebook group, users shared their experiences and recommendations of places where they successfully found gluten-free meals, so this list can be useful to everyone planning a vacation in Greece and paying attention to their diet.
It is important to note that these are experiences of guests and recommendations from users, not officially certified restaurants with gluten-free offerings. Therefore, always make sure to inform the staff that you have celiac disease or gluten intolerance.

Greek hospitality and the desire to accommodate you are almost never a problem, but kitchen rush in the midst of the season can be. Therefore, we recommend that you clearly state that you have celiac disease or are on a strict gluten-free diet with every order.
