Description

Waterside Studios offers to the guests studios, some of which have beautiful sea view. It is located in the center of Limenaria, on the promenade, so it is an ideal option for all those who want to spend their vacation on Thassos.

The villa is located on the big city beach in Limenaria and is 30m away from the nearest supermarket. In front of the accommodation ends the promenade that leads to the center of the town, where all the taverns, cafes and souvenir shops are.

There are four studios on the ground floor.
Two double studios with a double bed are located at the back side of the house and they have a view of the street, while the other two units are triple and they have sea view. Triple studios are located at the front side of the house and have one double bed and one fold out drawer bed.

All accommodation units have kitchen, bathroom, terrace, air conditioning, mosquito nets, internet, TV and hairdryer. Bathroom has a shower with a curtain, while kitchens are equipped and has hot plates, kettle and a small refrigerator. Pets are allowed upon request.

Cleaning, as well as change of towels and bed linen are done every five days.

Next to the villa there is a parking space for 2-3 cars, while the owners help other guests to find a place for their vehicle in the nearby streets.

Coming from Prinos, turn right immediately after the Hotel Triada, located in Limenaria. The road will turn left by the sea and after about 20m you will see Villa Waterside on your left.

Accommodation is a good choice for all those who are looking for studios in a good location, in the center of town.

Cancellation and payment policy

Deposit of 30% is required to confirm the reservation. Remaining balance should be payed first day upon arrival. If cancelled 21 or more days prior to arrival, paid money will be fully refunded. If cancelled at any time later, paid money is non-refundable. In the case of early departure, 50% of remaining days will be charged.

*If a refund of the deposit is possible, the shipping costs are borne by the guest. The amount of costs depends on the method of sending and the bank.

Where to start... The apartment is beautifully and modernly furnished, but it is a bit cramped, i.e., there isn't much space for three people. The double bed is about 145-150 cm wide, plus a sofa bed for a child. There is too little space in the kitchen for meal preparation, especially for storing washed dishes. There is no dining and/or seating area inside, just a table and three chairs on the terrace. The bathroom is nice and functional. The apartment has an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from the center, situated in a quieter area, with two supermarkets and a bakery just a minute away. The yard is lovely, with palm trees that enhance the idyllic view from the room towards the sea, which is right in front of the yard, although the yard is empty and could be enriched with some useful amenities... There are mosquito nets on the windows, which is great, but since the apartment is on the ground floor and you have to open the doors, there are no nets on them, so unfortunately, mosquitoes are unavoidable. The ground-floor terrace is nice and spacious, but the downside is that there is no awning, just a small umbrella, so when laundry is hung above you, everything drips onto your terrace next to that umbrella. We also like that the wall separating the apartment from the neighbor is higher, so you cannot see the neighbors from the adjacent apartment, but this should also be the case on the other side where the passage (street) is, which is not the case, so passersby walk right next to you when you are sitting on the terrace. In front of the apartment is a part of the beach without sunbeds; you can put your umbrella or use the sunbeds to the left and right of the apartment with purchased drinks. I must mention that we got the impression from the apartment description that there might be free sunbeds on the beach for this accommodation, but that is not the case. Also, the description and pictures on the website are for apartment 1, and we received number 2, which, according to the owner, is larger. So, it is on the left in the picture with a larger terrace, and it is square-shaped, while number 1 is rectangular, and I couldn't assess whether it is smaller or larger... Otherwise, the beach in front of the apartment was not very usable for us, because we have small children, and there are stones and the depth increases quickly. A better access is about a hundred meters further where the beach bar Vanilla and the taverna Agistri are, where there is nice sand for children. The owner is a Polish woman named Marcela, who is very kind and accommodating. You can communicate with her in Serbian/Polish and understand each other :) The internet in the room is of good quality and fast; I think it is shared only among 2 or 4 apartments, so it is quite good, but sometimes the router malfunctions and the internet goes down, there are no rules, during our 12-day stay, there were about 4 evenings when there might not have been internet for an hour or two. Once, some fuses blew, so there was no hot water and internet for about 24 hours... The apartment does not have a functional hose for washing sand off feet (it exists but cannot be used), so you have to use the public shower on the beach in front of the apartment. It is good for showering, but there is no smaller tap for feet... And regarding parking, these apartments do not have their private parking next to the building; you can park on the street in front if you find a spot or about 90 meters up the street where there is a smaller yard that belongs to them.

The accommodation comes highly recommended. It is located right on the beach and in a tranquil area. We enjoyed our morning coffee by the shore. The studio is equipped with all the necessary amenities. You truly cannot go wrong with this choice.

All praise for the accommodation. The furniture is new, and the cleanliness is at an admirable level. The studio is quite a decent size; there were three adults, as the child is 14 years old. The location is excellent, right at the beginning of the promenade, so everything is nearby, yet there is no noise. The beach located right in front of the accommodation was more than sufficient for us, although there are more further along. We are thoroughly satisfied and would gladly return again.

Proximity to the beach and the 'town'. There is parking available.
Cons
Perhaps the only downside is the weak or nonexistent internet access, but there are several restaurants and cafes nearby, so we could catch their Wi-Fi :)

Everything was satisfactory; the premises were exceptionally clean and equipped with all necessary amenities. However, one aspect that was lacking was the wifi connection (the room description stated that wifi was included in the price, yet it was not provided).
