This was our second visit here, which speaks volumes on its own, but I will add a few more sentences. The hotel is rated with two stars, so do not expect too much, especially if you chose one of the cheaper side rooms, which are smaller than the superior ones. We opted for half-board, which turned out to be an excellent choice. The breakfast is somewhat monotonous (eggs in a hundred combinations), but it is sufficient until lunch. For dinner, you receive a menu with 5-6 dishes to choose from. I highly recommend the homemade pasta and moussaka, but you won't go wrong with the other dishes either. The hotel has a beach area with umbrellas and sunbeds that you can use for free if you are a hotel guest. Hygiene is at a high standard; the place is cleaned daily, towels are changed every two days, and bed linens every three. Everyone is very polite. Their English is not their strong suit, but there are a few who speak German fluently, and with a little effort from both sides, you can communicate. Overall, this year’s rating is an excellent 5, and we will definitely return.

The first impression is that the location is excellent, which it truly is. We were greeted by an unfriendly landlady who immediately demanded payment without a receipt. She did not allow us to take our belongings to the room. Speaking of the room, it measures 14m2, not the 17-18m2 as claimed by Nikana. Everything in the room is almost new, at least in the one where my wife and I stayed. That room has a direct view of the sea, and I can recommend it for two people (no more than that). We paid for half board. The dinner was good because it was prepared by a chef, while the breakfast was, to put it mildly, shameful. The breakfast is prepared by cleaning staff who also serve it. Every day we received two eggs (omelet, fried, boiled) with sirma, a toast sandwich, two small jams, two small butters, a slice of ham and a slice of cheese, a slice of tomato, an olive, and a cucumber (the combinations are unpredictable). The owner keeps serving the same things until we got fed up. When we complained, we were given slightly more varied food (still cheap and pathetic). Along with breakfast, they serve highly diluted filter coffee and highly diluted orange juice. The owners of Mirta have no clue about tourism. Either they like it this way, or Nikana is completely mistaken, which is the biggest complaint against the agency. I'm not sure I will vacation with them again. The owners do not speak English. Mirto has its own sunbeds on the beach. You can enjoy a drink without anyone bothering you all day. However, even when you pay 3.5 euros for coffee, you don't get coffee, but rather a poor imitation. Many guests complained! The police even came due to a conflict between the owner and a guest (I personally saw him lunge at a woman and attempt to hit her). For the first time in XY years, I vacationed without knowing the names of the owners. Never again at Mirto! I just don't know how Nikana will compensate me for the stress endured during the vacation!

I wish to leave a comment on the accommodation at Hotel Mirto, Vrachos Beach, Greece. We have traveled extensively and stayed in various types of accommodations, but we have never encountered anything like this. It is not about the number of stars, but rather about the attitude towards the guest. Please read the entire text. I will start with the positive aspects: 1. Cleanliness - outstanding. 2. The renovated rooms (not all) are small, up to 15 m², but the mattress is soft, the pillows are good, the air conditioning works, there is a terrace, but no awnings, so you cannot sit outside as the sun shines all day. The bathroom is renovated. Overall, the sleep quality is good. 3. Dinner (you receive a handwritten menu with the available dishes) - all the dishes are excellent! 4. The location is superb, and the hotel garden is beautiful. 5. The hotel has its own parking, with space for everyone. It is not entirely shaded, but you do not have to worry about your car. Now, let's move on to the negative aspects: 1. The renovated bathroom is nice, but the shower lacks a curtain, so when you take a shower, you end up splashing water all over the bathroom. This wouldn’t be a problem if there were a drain in the bathroom to collect the water. There is no drain (anywhere), so if you want to use the sink after showering, you stand in water... 2. THERE IS NO BUFFET. Breakfast - a disgrace... simply disgraceful. For ten days, eggs (scrambled, omelet, hard-boiled, sunny side up), two slices of tomato, five cucumber slices, one slice of ham, one slice of cheese, two small butters, two small jams... and so on every day, for ten days. And all of this is served to you already on a plate. There is nothing else... 3. With such a served breakfast, you can help yourself to something called coffee, which looks like tea. Along with that, you have water and something that resembles juice, so diluted that it reminds you of sweetened water. 4. The same coffee is served at the sun loungers. I read somewhere that the sun loungers are free - they are not... you are obliged to order something for 3.5 euros per person. 5. All in all, if you only pay for accommodation, you will be satisfied. I certainly recommend to the owners, who are not very cultured, to let the younger generation (they have two sons) manage the hotel, as it would be much better since there is potential, and at least someone should know English. With very little German, extremely little English, and Greek, communication with foreign guests is quite difficult.

The rooms are small, the wardrobe is old and tiny, the bathroom is modest, lacking shelves, and you have to place your cosmetics on the tiles... there are no screens, allowing insects to enter the room. Cleaning is regular, and the entire establishment is tidy. The restaurant's terrace is beautiful.

The hotel is situated in an excellent location, right next to a supermarket and restaurants. The beach loungers are complimentary, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It is an ideal place for rest and relaxation. The only aspect I found lacking was the breakfast, which consisted of bread, butter, jam, and eggs (in small portions).

The relationship between price and quality is reminiscent of Xiaomi :). The food is excellent, especially the dinner, although I hear complaints about breakfast, but what can you do, such is the case even in more expensive places. The portions are generous, and the Greek salad is a true delight. The staff is courteous, and the rooms are clean. Parking is in the shade. If I had to mention a downside, it would be the mattress (soft, sagging) and the bed itself, which creaks quite a bit when you turn. All in all, I would come back again.

An excellent accommodation when comparing price and quality. The hotel provides its own furniture on the beach, which you do not have to pay extra for if you are a hotel guest. Rooms are cleaned daily, and bed linens and towels are changed every three days. The food is excellent and ample, although breakfast is somewhat monotonous, but one must be realistic. You did not pay for a 5-star hotel, but rather for a 2-star one. For dinner, you always receive a menu of 5-6 dishes and choose what you like. The staff is courteous, although not everyone speaks English, but that barrier can be easily overcome. There are plenty of parking spaces available. Nearby, you have several markets and taverns. Vrahos itself is small and quiet, with crowds only on weekends when the Greeks come. As far as we are concerned, it is quite decent for the money we spent. We would come back and would recommend it to friends. The only downside we could mention is the size of the non-superior rooms. All side rooms face the sea, but two adults and one child would have to squeeze in quite a bit. Therefore, we recommend paying a little more for a superior room to enjoy greater comfort both in the room and on the terrace, along with a direct sea view.

Without mosquito nets on the balcony doors - extremely uncomfortable. There are no external handles on the doors, so they close with a bang. The bathroom lacks a curtain in the shower, leading to a flood when you bathe. The terrace and room are so small that you can barely squeeze between the pieces of furniture. Every morning, you have eggs for breakfast. The dinner menu features only six identical dishes - never fish. When you turn on the air conditioning, it blows directly at you because the room is so small that there’s nowhere to escape. No one speaks English. The owner knows only thirty words in German.

We are very satisfied with the service, accommodation, food, location, and cleanliness. The hosts are friendly, and the food is delicious. Parking is in the shade under the trees. They have both renovated rooms and those that are not. We were accommodated in an older room located on the ground floor. The mattresses are a bit firm, at least for us. There is a small refrigerator in the room. They came to clean every day, and every third day we received clean towels and had the sheets changed. From our terrace, we could also see the sea, and of course, it is better visible from the upper floors. 😊

The location is excellent, right in the city center! The food at the restaurant is superb, and the service is equally commendable. However, the rooms are a disaster, with an uncomfortable bed and an equally uncomfortable mattress, along with a very old toilet lacking adequate ventilation! Unfortunately, there was no option for room replacement! The entire property has potential, but it requires thorough renovation of the rooms!

The service was poor, and almost no one spoke English. Breakfast was monotonous; we literally had cheese, bologna, and eggs. The children couldn’t have lunch for two days because we were served Bolognese with sour sauce and a beefsteak that resembled ground meat with no flavor. The woman who maintains the rooms left the ground-floor balcony open, even though there were documents and money in the accommodation, and we couldn’t explain because she didn’t know the language. The bathroom was a disaster; there was no shower cabin, only a brick parapet for showering, and the bathroom sloped towards the room, causing water to enter the room. There was no Wi-Fi, not even in the restaurant, so we had to catch a signal from Villa Del Mar.

We are very pleased with Hotel Mirto. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the woman who cleans every day comes in to tidy up a bit. The bed linens and towels were changed every three days. The food is excellent, and we had free sunbeds without needing to order drinks. The rooms are quite small, old, and untidy, which is a downside, but everything else was outstanding. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel is situated in an excellent location. The problem lies with the food, which can best be described as dreadful! It lacks variety and is the same every day. Breakfast consists of jam, butter, and eggs prepared in three different ways, every single day. Lunch is the same story - five identical dishes served daily, of which only two are tolerable, dreadful! The owners are incredibly stingy, and their hospitality is at a very low level. In the morning, there are only two drinks available: a brown liquid they call coffee and a yellow sweetened water that is supposed to be some kind of juice, milk, or yogurt, but is merely fat. We booked 12 days for 1070 euros for two with half board. On the seventh day, I raised my concerns, to no avail. I will never return to this hotel.

The criticisms I would like to mention are as follows: it was stated on your website that breakfast would be a buffet, however, that was not the case as the portions were served. The dishes prepared for dinner were delicious and the selection was as indicated on the website, with a choice from a list of six dishes. Another point of criticism is that there is no classic mosquito net, but rather a roller blind with small openings. I had previously visited Vrahos twice and there were no mosquitoes, but this rainy year surprised us. Overall, my impression is that we received what we paid for and I would gladly return to the same place. I hope I have been of assistance.

The rooms can feel cramped if you are traveling with a child, as a supplementary bed is added, leaving little space, but it is manageable. The food is tasty yet somewhat monotonous. Breakfast is nearly the same every day (there is no buffet), while dinner offers a choice of five dishes, which tend to repeat every other day, but they are quite substantial, sometimes making it difficult to finish everything. Overall, the food is delicious, but perhaps the owners should consider offering a more varied breakfast. All in all, if rated from 1 to 10, the hotel deserves an 8, partly due to its lovely location.
