For us, the location and the hospitality of the hostess were once again decisive... Pefkari is a charming little place and an excellent base for all those who wish to explore Thassos, while on the other hand, the proximity to the beautiful, pristine sea offers a wide range of water sports for those who enjoy a relaxing holiday without the need to "move around".

The accommodation is situated in an ideal location for both exploring the island and for direct access to the beach in Pefkari. It offers ample parking space, the linens are changed halfway through the stay, the terrace is spacious, and the kitchen is well-equipped with all the essentials for basic meal preparation. For any uncertainties, the owner of the apartment is mostly present in her apartment and is willing to assist with anything you may need.

The accommodation is phenomenal! An exceptionally clean, spacious, and modernly decorated studio where my wife and I stayed made our vacation even better. The beach is in close proximity to the accommodation, making its location exceptional. Mrs. Sotirija, the owner of Ekton Haus, is an incredibly warm-hearted woman with an excellent command of the English language, which made communication easy and straightforward (she is actually an English professor). The kindness of Mrs. Sotirija is further highlighted by the fact that we were welcomed in the studio with the Greek national drink Uzo and a bottle of olive oil. A small gesture, but it truly delighted us. Moreover, safety, privacy, and free parking are provided at Ekton Haus. Highly recommended!!!

The accommodation was excellent. The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the spacious two-bedroom apartment was impeccably clean and beautifully designed. I would like to mention that the large bed consists of two single beds pushed together, which tend to move apart, making it somewhat uncomfortable. This could easily be addressed. Otherwise, everything was very good. Additionally, the location is just a two-minute walk from the beach and supermarket.

The accommodation exceeded all expectations. It features parking, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and everything is clean and beautifully arranged, while the owner is very kind and pleasant. Guests had access to amenities such as snorkeling masks and fins, UNO cards, and other board games. The sea, promenade with shops, and restaurants are just 100 meters away from the apartment. I would particularly highlight the lovely sandy beach where Albatross Water Sports is located, where you can rent a speedboat, jet ski, or try paragliding, banana boat rides, etc. The location is excellent, as Potos is very close, just a 10-minute walk away. So in the evening, you can take a stroll and experience the true atmosphere of this beautiful Greek island.

Brilliant Sotiria, an exceptional accommodation!

An excellent location, pristine, with two terraces positioned such that one is always in the shade, a courtyard, parking... everything as described. The greatest advantage is the proximity to a beautiful beach and markets, as well as Potos and Limenaria, allowing for delightful experiences every day and evening.

This is our ninth visit to Thassos, specifically to Pefkari, but our first stay at Ekton House. The accommodation is wonderful, clean, and the hostess is exceptionally kind. The studio is well-equipped and comes highly recommended. I hope we will return again. The only downside, which is unrelated to the accommodation, pertains to the stretch of road to Potos, specifically from the campsite to the Aleksandra B hotel, which has completely deteriorated, causing a huge cloud of dust when cars pass by, making it inconvenient for those who stroll to Potos and back in the evening.

An exceptionally pleasant, well-equipped accommodation in an excellent location. One of the best lodgings we have experienced so far in Thassos (seven vacations). Clean and tidy, tastefully decorated. The owner is very kind, lives on the top floor, and is always available should guests need anything. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment on the ground floor that features a fully equipped kitchen with a stove and oven, sufficient cookware and other equipment, a large terrace facing the sea with a table and four chairs, and guests also have access to a shared courtyard with two large tables, a barbecue, an outdoor shower, as well as a room containing some spare beach equipment and board games for all guests to use. Advantages: Top-notch location in every sense. Nestled between Potos and Limenaria, it offers the advantage of proximity to both places while remaining tranquil. Just a short distance away, within a few dozen meters, are two beaches (the main beach in Pefkari and the beach near the campsite), as well as shops and restaurants along the beach, accessible via a private passage from the courtyard. A five-minute walk from Potos and less than 100 meters from Masoutis. Private parking separates the main courtyard from the road, providing protection from any street noise. An ideal spot for exploring the island, especially the beaches to the south. Abundant greenery and the scent of conifers (which is also the hallmark of Pefkari, as its name suggests).

The accommodation is exactly as described on the website. Everything matches the description. The hostess is exceptionally communicative, yet not intrusive. She always provided us with helpful advice and suggestions. The advantages include ample comfortable parking and proximity to a well-stocked and accessible supermarket. We mentioned to the owners that if we decide to return to Thassos, there is a 99.9% chance we will stay with her again.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Ekton House. The owner, Sothiria, is exceptionally kind, cheerful, and positive. She is always ready to assist and accommodate guests. The apartments and courtyard are furnished in a vintage style, adorned with many charming details and Mediterranean plants. A barbecue is available in the courtyard for guests. The pebbly beach is just a 3-minute walk from the accommodation, free of crowds, making it ideal for relaxation and diving. The apartments are tidy and clean, each featuring two terraces on opposite sides, ensuring shade on at least one side at all times. Pefkari is a small, tranquil village, and Potos is just a 10-15 minute leisurely walk away. We wholeheartedly recommend it. We would gladly stay at Ekton House again.

An excellent location, with parking always available and the beach in close proximity. All other amenities are very nearby. The rooms are clean and tidy, the Wi-Fi is excellent, and the landlady is warm and welcoming. Tasos is enchanting. Overall, it was a lovely and pleasant holiday.

We chose to stay at Ekton House for the second time for good reasons. The location is excellent, the yard is spacious, and the children's area is filled with a plethora of recreational options (board games, balls, blocks, etc.) that are all available to guests. The hostess is warm and always available for any assistance. I recommend this place to anyone seeking tranquility and proximity to the beach, while still being able to stroll to Potos or Limenaria at any moment.

The house is one of the most beautiful, very modern. It is exceptionally clean, with towels and bed linen changed every fifth night; we stayed for eight nights, and they replaced everything after four nights. The owner is very accommodating, living on the top floor, and you can reach out to her for anything you need. All compliments. :)

The house is situated in a tranquil area, close to the sea. A grocery store is located about 100 meters from the property and is well-equipped. An excellent accommodation at a relatively reasonable price. There is also a storage room available with swimming gear (fins, masks, mattresses, balls...) near a large supermarket. Parking is available, which is also a significant advantage.

Excellent accommodation. New, clean, and spacious. If someone truly misses a view of the sea, that is the only thing lacking for a fifth star for the location, but the beach is just 20 meters away through a passage.

We stayed from August 12 to August 22, 2019. Apartment number 1 is new, tidy, and excellently equipped. We had no complaints whatsoever. The cleaning of the apartment, along with the replacement of towels and bed linens, was done on the fifth day (we stayed for ten days). The beach is nearby, and the location is perfect for visiting other beautiful beaches. The landlady and the staff are warm and accommodating. This accommodation comes highly recommended.

We stayed at Ekton Haus in the second half of July with friends in studios number 7 and 8. The accommodation comes highly recommended. It is modernly furnished, tastefully decorated, without unnecessary furniture, yet everything we need is present. The kitchen and bathroom are equipped with even the smallest details: can openers, coasters, trays, and a complete set of cutlery and cooking utensils. The cleanliness and airiness of the studio, as well as the comfort of the beds, are at a high level. On a scale from 1 to 5, our rating for the accommodation and the owner's friendliness is 5+. It is important to note that this annual vacation would not have been as delightful without the assistance of the "Nikana" Agency in finding accommodation and making reservations. Everything is easier and simpler with them. A big 5 for "Nikana".

The Ekton house is an exceptional accommodation. In reality, it is even more beautiful than in the pictures. The hostess is a very kind and pleasant woman who speaks English excellently, which is a rarity in Greece. Everything is new, tidy, clean, and tastefully arranged. We were especially delighted by the welcoming gesture - we received two rakija shot glasses as a token of appreciation from the owner. There is also a special room with beach equipment - umbrellas, a ball, buckets, and shovels for children... everything can be borrowed and returned after use. Bed linen change and cleaning occur on the fifth day of the stay. Just 50 meters from the apartment is the newly opened Masutis market, which is yet another advantage of Ekton. I highly recommend this accommodation; we will definitely return next time.

We highly recommend this hotel. We stayed in apartment number 1 from August 10th to 20th, 2018. The entire apartment was completely new. The landlady was exceptionally kind and helpful. She even provided us with a washing machine to use. The location is fantastic. You will not regret choosing this hotel. The price is excellent, and the quality is outstanding. Best regards!

We were in Ekton in the second half of July 2018. The two of us, along with our 8-year-old child, were accommodated in apartment number 6, on the first floor, which had a double bed and a pull-out chair for the child. The apartment was beautiful, tastefully furnished, and the furniture was almost new. The bathroom was also very nice, small but completely satisfactory. The kitchenette was reasonably equipped, with a stove with 2 burners, a refrigerator, and a kettle. There weren't many dishes: one pot of 3-4l, a frying pan, one miniature cezve, three plates, and several cups and saucers. The apartment's terrace overlooking the sea (the sea is not visible due to the buildings in front) is nicely separated from the neighboring terraces, so you cannot see the neighbors. It was sunny during the day, but pleasant for sitting in the morning and evening. In the shared courtyard, there is a barbecue that we used several times. Only on the last day did we notice that there was also beach equipment (umbrellas, chairs, etc.) that could be used. The bedding and towels were changed on the 5th and 8th days (we stayed a total of 13 days), and in the meantime, there was no cleaning of the apartment. This was somewhat problematic, as there was no broom or anything similar in the apartment. Even after a heavy rain, which brought a lot of pine needles to the terrace, nothing was cleaned, presumably because we were not on the schedule. During that time, our relatives were in the neighboring apartment, and during their 12-day stay, the bedding and towels were changed only on the 4th day, and then the apartment was cleaned. Another drawback that did not seem significant at first was the lack of a wardrobe. In the 2+1 apartment, there is only one shelf for luggage and an open rod with a few hangers that cannot be removed. So all our clothes were in suitcases, which was quite inconvenient. In the neighboring double apartment, there is a niche in the wall with a rod and hangers and several shelves, and since there is no pull-out chair (so there is more space), there is also a dining table. A path from the courtyard leads quickly to the beach in Pefkari, which is sandy, except for the entrance to the sea, which is a bit inconvenient, with larger pebbles and some slippery stones in certain parts. The sunbeds on the beach are not densely arranged, as on some more popular beaches, so there is no crowd. You only pay for the drinks you consume at reasonable prices for Greece. Pefkari is a quiet place; occasionally, you can hear some music from the restaurants, but nothing too loud. Ekton is close to the main road, but traffic can only be heard from the side facing the road. In the room and on the terrace, there is no noise. For a few days, we had a slightly livelier neighbor in the adjacent courtyard, but they were not heard from the side facing the sea :) Across the main road, just a 3-minute walk away, there is a well-stocked supermarket. The owner of the apartment is very kind and pleasant, and speaks excellent English :) P.S. Don’t miss visiting at least a few other beautiful beaches nearby and trying the goat or lamb in the surrounding villages.

This is our second time staying at this accommodation and everything is truly excellent. The only complaint this year is that our towels were changed only after three days, and we did not receive any new ones for the remainder of our vacation. Additionally, my wife missed a few channels on the TV, particularly the sports channels, as Wimbledon was taking place at that time. The owners are hardly ever seen, which suits us well.

The apartment is beautifully arranged, everything is perfectly coordinated. We stayed here for ten days, and by the fifth day, the apartment was completely prepared, with fresh towels and bed linens. It is easy to walk to Potos, and we even walked to Limenaria, which has a lovely walking path along the main road. So for those who enjoy strolling...

Everything is as described. Personally, I found it even more beautiful in person. The landlady and her husband are wonderful, unobtrusive! The kitchen is equipped with the essentials, which is quite sufficient! (For any additional requests, please contact the landlady; she will gladly fulfill them). Our room was spacious enough for us. There is a table and chairs on the terrace, and also in front of the room (plastic table and chairs), so if you need them, you can bring them inside and use them as a dining table. All in all, those who enjoy this "style" will not regret it. Truly a delight! We rate it a solid 5! On our way home, the landlady asked us for feedback and suggestions on how to enhance and improve the accommodation further, considering it is new and has room for improvement. Advantages: Peace and quiet, yet close to everything! Parking is sufficient for all guests. There is a small room with equipment from where you can borrow umbrellas, masks, fins... and return them after your stay. A barbecue is available. The beach is just a few steps away (some might find the stones at the water's edge bothersome, but if you overlook that, it is exceptionally clean and beautiful; besides, Thassos is an island with countless beautiful beaches, so it would be a shame not to visit them, ensuring there is something for everyone's taste). In my opinion, there are no drawbacks.

The accommodation is excellent... recently renovated and everything is new... the only issue was that there were three of us adults, so we didn't have enough space, and I missed having a dining table... some studios have it, but not ours... the landlady speaks English and is very nice and accommodating. The kitchenette is a tea kitchen, which means it is not fully equipped (we missed a bottle opener, but I believe we asked the landlady to bring it to us)... the beach is really close and the water is phenomenal, except for the entrance into the water, but that can be resolved too... Potos is literally a ten-minute walk away, where it is crowded, hectic, and everything else, so it feels nice to return to the calm of Pefkari. I would recommend this accommodation.

We vacationed in 2016, when the apartments were renovated, as a family with a 5-year-old child. The interesting vintage-style interior, down to the smallest detail, completely captivated us. It is even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. An excellent choice for those who seek more from a vacation than just swimming and staying within four walls. The apartment is spacious enough and equipped with everything you need for a holiday (dishes, hairdryer). The beds are wide (we slept with our 5-year-old child without any issues, there was no need to pull out an extra bed). The TV offers a wide selection of channels. It is exceptionally clean. Cleaning (thorough, we were present) and changing of linens and towels is done every 4-5 days. The terrace has wooden partitions on both sides, ensuring complete privacy from neighbors. The apartment has a card that activates the electricity upon entry. The air conditioning works when the balcony doors are closed. The owners are accommodating and unobtrusive. We truly enjoyed our stay!
