Kind hosts, I wholeheartedly recommend Kostalina.

We are pleasantly surprised by the kindness, hospitality, and effort of the sociable hosts! The apartments are decent, clean, and there is always hot water available. The French bed is spacious. The safe is available at no extra charge. Linen and towel changes occur every 5 days; however, the friendly hosts will always accommodate you with anything you need. The only drawback is the stove - it has one larger burner that takes time to heat up and one very small one, which is only suitable for making coffee. Everything else functions excellently. The yard has enough space for everyone. There is ample parking in front of the yard, and the street is not busy. Anyone who wishes can wash their car - the hose is always available. As for the studio in the basement, it truly looks like in the pictures. It is completely new and has no dampness. A few steps below the yard level, it is a bit darker compared to the rooms upstairs due to smaller windows, but it remains shaded all day without the need for air conditioning. There is a possibility of adding a fourth bed. The location is excellent for exploring the northern, eastern, and western sides of the island, where we believe the most beautiful beaches are located.

This summer, my husband, our two children, and I stayed at this accommodation. The condition of the property matches the description. The hosts are very kind and available every day. Daily cleaning of the rooms, with towel and linen changes every few days. Parking is right next to the property. Air conditioning, safe, TV, mosquito nets... Quiet and serene. It is further from the city beach and the center, but close to the main road, making it very convenient for exploring the island, especially for those arriving by car. Those oriented towards the city beach should expect a bit more walking. Highly recommended.

The description of Kostalina Studios perfectly reflects the actual state. My wife and I (motorized) stayed here from June 22 to July 6, 2018. We would particularly highlight the cleanliness of the entire property, as well as the tastefully arranged courtyard with the described amenities. The exceptional attention from the owner, Lina, regarding all our inquiries was greatly appreciated. If we had wished, we could have changed towels and bed linens almost daily; she offered to clean our rooms every day and asked how we were doing and if we needed anything. At their initiative, they prepared us excellent grilled fish (sea bream). Regarding the safety of ourselves, our belongings, and our car, we have nothing but praise (electronic lock on the door, safe for valuables, and parking right next to the property)! Internet (non-stop), air conditioning, TV, and mosquito nets certainly contribute to a pleasant stay. Location: as already described in previous comments. In our opinion, the most beautiful beaches are near Limenas (including several city beaches). The city beaches can be reached on foot in 15 minutes, with no wandering, just go downhill! The city itself is fascinating, and everyone will find something that interests them (entertainment, shopping, archaeological sites, playgrounds for children, auto services, and much more).

Kostalina Studios aligns with the descriptions provided by Nikana and the owner. The rooms are not luxurious, but the kindness of the owner erases any shortcomings of the accommodation. Lina, the owner, asked us every day if we needed anything (cleaning, fresh towels, bed linens...). We were fortunate to receive a quadruple room, as it was the only one available, despite having paid for a double. We assume that this explains the price; it is indeed crowded in Limenas, although there are many villas. The location suited us well as we explored the island. Do not worry about parking - whether it will be available or not, you are not in a crowd or narrow streets, and everything is close for evening strolls since Limenas is a smaller town after all.

My girlfriend and I arrived on the first day (August 29) before 11 AM. We quickly found Lina, who was finishing preparing our room and told us we could enter in 10 minutes, which pleasantly surprised us considering that check-in is at 2 PM. Then we met Kosta, who welcomed us very warmly and with a smile. Once we entered the room, our enthusiasm diminished significantly. The room is quite small, and the kitchenette is poorly equipped. We had only two knives, two spoons, and one fork, along with one pot and a ladle. As for plates and glasses, there were enough of them, but, of course, they were all mismatched, which is typical for the Greeks. Since some rooms on our floor were open and ready for new guests who did not arrive, we served ourselves and took one fork and a frying pan. The bathroom looks very poor, there is no window, and there is a raised area for showering with a curtain, so you don't really shower on the tiles, which is often the case. Regarding the cleaning of the room, during our 7-night stay, the trash was taken out twice, and the room was only lightly cleaned once, while the bedding was not changed at all. On the little terrace, there is a table and two or three chairs, which we unfortunately had to bring inside the room to eat, as it was impossible to eat outside due to the mosquitoes, which were quite abundant during this period. Last year we were also in Thassos in mid-July and there weren't as many. The main promenade and center are about a 5 to 10-minute walk away; you just need to figure out which streets to take. As for the location of the accommodation, it suited us because it was close to the main road, and this time we specifically chose Limenas because it is near the most beautiful beaches (Makryamos, La Scala, Mermerna, and thankfully Psili Amos was a bit further away this time). All in all, we believe that for similar or even less money, one can find much better accommodation in Limenas and the surrounding area than at Kostalina.

It's nothing special

A lovely new accommodation, resembling a smaller hotel. We enjoyed our stay there, just as we did throughout Thassos. The location is peaceful, slightly further from the "center," but nothing serious. My only complaint was that the landlady was a bit "annoying" regarding the impressions of my small children, but we resolved that as well. Everything else was fine. I highly recommend this place for a vacation, especially for couples and families with older children.

We stayed at Villa Kostalina for 17 days, and it was absolutely wonderful. The hostess is very open, communicative, and kind. The house is beautiful, always has parking space available, located in a quiet area, and the room is spacious, as is the terrace, so we didn't even go down to the yard, which is large and beautifully landscaped. A major advantage is that we could freely use the air conditioning without any extra charges. The center of Limenas is within walking distance, but it’s not exactly a 5-minute walk, and if you have a younger child like we do, expect them to start complaining halfway that their "legs hurt." :D We were not close enough to walk to any beach. The internet is a bit slow, but it generally works.

When you are greeted upon arrival by smiling faces and friendly hugs from the hosts, you forget about any shortcomings, if there are any. We spent 15 fantastic days in this accommodation and felt right at home. Comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality are at a high level. We have absolutely no complaints and recommend this place to families with children to choose Kostalina without hesitation.

At the end of August, I spent a beautiful 20 days in Kostalini with my husband. Besides the natural beauties of Thassos and the stunning beaches, our pleasant stay was ensured by Lina and Kostas, the owners of this villa. We have been vacationing in Greece for many years, but we have never encountered such kindness and attention. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the villa is located in a quieter part of Limenas, just a few minutes' walk from the center. I would recommend this villa to everyone.

I stayed with my girlfriend from August 13th to 23rd. The villa is truly beautiful, located about 15 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from the market. It features a large terrace as well as a spacious yard. Everything is clean, and the landlady Lina is wonderful, always at your service.

From July 28, 2012, to August 11, 2012, I spent 14 wonderful days on Thassos with my husband. The accommodation was excellent, especially in terms of price and quality. The owners (Kostas and Lina) are wonderful people, dedicated to their guests and eager to assist you with various needs. The studios are clean, maintained daily, and additionally on Sundays and public holidays. There is also a hiking trail for three days. My wife had a health issue, and Lina promptly arrived with a small pharmacy, and afterwards, following the doctor's advice, Kostas went to the pharmacy to buy medicine, as it is cheaper when locals purchase it. They guided us on where to shop, which beaches to visit, and what to explore... We expressed a desire to eat grilled fish. It was our responsibility to buy fish in the morning, specifically the sea bream (the Greeks call it Tsipura), and to leave it in the fridge. When we returned from the beach, around 8 PM as agreed, the grill was ready. The taste was extraordinary. The owners have a restaurant (hospitality from the 1920s). The studios are spacious, with large terraces. Accommodation for every recommendation. Thanks to Nikan for suggesting we spend our summer here. This was our first time vacationing in Thassos, and definitely, Limenas is superior in many ways compared to Potos or Limenaria!
