Exclusively clean apartments and friendly hosts

The villa is situated in an exceptionally beautiful location, surrounded by greenery. The hygiene is impeccable. The only drawback is the lack of awnings on the terraces that are exposed to direct sunlight and a shortage of utensils for food preparation.

The accommodation is excellent, the host is friendly and welcomed us warmly, assisting us in carrying our belongings to the room and even washing several loads of laundry. The internet signal is good. The beach and the center are just a 3-minute walk away.

My wife and I stayed at Villa Alexandra Androni in Thassos, in Potos, from June 17 to June 27, 2019. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude once again, both to the representatives of the Nikana agency and to the owner of the Villa, Mr. Nikos, for the excellent organization of our stay and a true vacation. Everything that has been said about the mentioned Villa is accurate. The Villa is situated in a prime location, in a peaceful and quiet area, just behind the church. There is ample parking space, and all vehicles are shaded. The rooms are clean, spacious, and more than sufficient for a genuine rest. Bed linens and towels are changed every three days. The terrace doors are fitted with mosquito nets. The air conditioning works perfectly and is included in the price. The owner of the Villa is a very kind man. I recommend it to anyone who truly wishes to relax. Additionally, I would like to mention that I encountered a minor issue with my car, but both the representatives of Nikana and Mr. Nikos immediately offered assistance with advice, transportation, translation, etc. I thank them for that. Once again, thank you very much for everything, and I sincerely recommend it to everyone.

Villa Androni is situated in a tranquil location, far from noise yet just 2 minutes from the center. The owner, Nikos, is highly professional, courteous, and speaks English fluently, addressing any concerns you may have. They are available around the clock. The villa offers private parking with multiple spaces. Each apartment is air-conditioned, clean, and the linens are changed regularly. Overall, there are no complaints. If I find myself on Thassos again, I will certainly book Villa Androni.

We stayed at this accommodation from July 16 to July 25, 2018, and it is an understatement to say that we were extremely satisfied. The host is a wonderful man, very kind, who welcomed us with coffee. The accommodation is exactly as depicted in the pictures and has everything needed for a relaxing stay. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the linens are changed every three days. The villa is located right in the center, making everything easily accessible. The yard is large and full of greenery. We would gladly return, both to Thassos and to this accommodation!

Villa Androni is a true family villa, offering a complete sense of belonging. Host Nikos, along with his daughter and son, are among the rare friendly, smiling, and positive Greeks I have met. They speak the language excellently and nothing is too difficult for them. Whatever bothers you or is lacking, they will resolve it. They are at your service around the clock. The villa is situated in a beautiful location, featuring private parking and a spacious yard amidst olive trees. Each apartment is air-conditioned, clean, and the bedding is regularly changed. A true little paradise, perhaps a bit untidy for some, but that is part of its charm. Just 200 meters away from the noise and center of Potos, located in a quiet and serene area for complete relaxation. Highly recommended!!

It is enough to say that we would gladly stay in the same villa again. The owner, Nikos, is very accommodating, and communication is easy as he speaks English well, while his grandmother speaks German. There can be some congestion in the parking area, but that is a minor issue compared to other parts of Potos. The room is exceptionally clean and has ample storage for clothes. The kitchen is small and inadequately equipped for those who wish to cook and prepare traditional dishes. The yard is unkempt and has plenty of mosquitoes, but we did not spend enough time outside for it to bother us. Two flexible slats were missing from the bed, but that did not affect the comfort, and I believe the issue would have been resolved had we reported it. The location of the villa is phenomenal, but that is not of great significance as Thassos is primarily for those who want to visit as many beaches as possible. A warm recommendation to everyone.

We stayed at Villa Alexandra Androni from August 20, 2016, and we had a truly wonderful experience. The villa is situated near the main road leading to the village of Teologos, yet it offers a tranquil environment. It is surrounded by various plants typical of the area, which are diligently maintained by grandmother Alexandra Androni, with whom you can communicate in German. The son who manages the household speaks English very well and is always available for any suggestions, ready to accommodate your requests. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the furniture is relatively new, and the bathrooms are satisfactory. There is space in the courtyard at the back for parking cars. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Exceptional hosts, warm, accommodating, and always ready to assist. The premises are very clean, with bed linens and towels changed every few days. There is always hot water - no complaints. The kitchen appliances are functional, and the refrigerator and stove work perfectly - perhaps a larger selection of dishes would be nice, but I am sure everything can be arranged with Nikos and Aleksandar. All in all - outstanding!

The accommodation is located in the very center of Potos (the road to Theologos, after Eko pump, first right, to the end and then right again). The owner is attentive and available for all guest inquiries. The courtyard of the property could be better maintained (too much unkempt greenery that resembles a wasteland). The rooms are regularly cleaned, and bed linens and towels are changed once a week.

So, my boyfriend and I stayed at this accommodation from August 1st to August 11th, 2016. We arrived at 2 PM (as stated in the voucher as the check-in time) and were welcomed by Grandma Aleksandra, who does not speak English, so she handed us over to her son, who greeted us with a Frappe. Immediately after that, we entered the studio, which was impeccably clean. From our terrace, we looked out at Mrs. Androni's garden and our car, which was parked right there. Do not be alarmed when you enter the yard and see so many trees and grass; the villa is much prettier than it appears at first glance of the yard. There was always hot water. The villa is located in a quiet part of Potos, just a few minutes from the beach. The church is right next door, so we could hear the bells, but that did not bother us. We had three sets of bed linens and towels; the ones that welcomed us and two more sets were changed, and the apartment was regularly cleaned. The villa is maintained regularly, so it always smells nice. On our last day, the owner let us choose what time we would leave the apartment because we were honored guests (we brought them a small gift of sweets from Serbia, which he was delighted with), he gave us a magnet as a gift and wished us a safe journey as we departed. This is my fifth year in Greece, and I have yet to experience such kindness from Greek hosts. All in all, the accommodation is excellent, as is the whole of Potos. The most beautiful place on Thassos, next to Marble Beach.

An outstanding accommodation in the center, just 100 meters from the beach, surrounded by lush greenery. The lodging is fantastic, equipped with air conditioning and excellent internet. Bed linens and towels are changed every three days. Nikolas is a wonderful and friendly host. This is a place highly recommended for anyone.

My stay of 13 days in this accommodation was quite satisfactory. I would rate the room a 5, while the courtyard deserves a 3- as it is somewhat neglected and appears more attractive in the photos. Everything is nearby, and it is not noisy. The hygiene is acceptable, as described. The host is very kind. I would certainly recommend this accommodation.

The landlord is an exceptional person capable of responding to every normal request, even to some somewhat unusual ones, as long as it is within his power. The landlady, Aleksandra Androni, is a charming elderly lady; communication with her is in Greek or German, which can sometimes complicate things but also make them interesting, provided you do not speak those languages. The villa is located in a good area, close to the center of Potos, yet on a less busy street, ensuring minimal noise. The villa's yard is spacious and fenced, which is certainly an advantage for those with small children. In summary, everything was quite satisfactory. If I decide to vacation on Thassos again, this villa will undoubtedly be in my shortlist for accommodation.

From September 1st to 15th, 2013, I stayed in this villa with my husband and son. The hosts were exceptionally kind, and I have no complaints, as I believe they would have addressed any shortcomings immediately. However, my family and I had no need for any changes. This villa is one of the tidiest I have ever stayed in. The frequency of towel and linen changes was surprisingly high, accompanied by regular cleaning.

We spent twelve days in August at Villa Aleksandra. Our impressions are mostly positive. Everything appears new, freshly renovated, and the owner is exceptionally kind and accommodating, which we noticed even though we had no special requests. The Wi-Fi works excellently, and the location is ideal. However, it would be nice if the rooms were a bit larger; I’m referring to our room since we didn’t see the others. Towels and linens were changed every three days. Minor complaints include the kitchen not having a wide selection of utensils, although the owner did ask if we needed anything, and the shower lacks a curtain, so if you’re not careful, water can splash all over the bathroom. We truly have no major complaints.

My husband and I stayed at Villa Alexandra from July 28 to August 9, 2013. We had arranged for a double studio in the renovated part of the house (although it seems the owner renovated the entire house). When we arrived, we were given a triple studio, and the owner (a very kind and humorous man) said he would remove the third bed if it bothered us and cramped the space. There was no need for that, as there was plenty of room. In fact, we only spent the first night there, and the owner explained that he had made some mistake, probably during another reservation, and asked if we would move to a double room (which has neither a terrace nor a kitchen) for two nights, and he would refund us some of the money we paid for the agreed studio. We had no objections, as it seemed very important to him, and in the end, the accommodation served us just for sleeping. As agreed, after two nights we moved back (believe it or not, to a completely different triple studio :D ). The owner is truly communicative, as are all the other residents, and he welcomed us with coffee, which was desperately needed after 16 hours of travel. We changed three rooms, and all were tidy and beautiful. This is our second time on Thassos, and compared to last year's accommodation, this one is more than excellent: the rooms are regularly cleaned, there is a difference when cleaned every 3 days versus every 5 days, the bathroom doesn't have that screen over the bathtub, but it is spacious, and given that it is cleaned more often, it really isn't problematic. There was always enough toilet paper (last year we even had to buy that)... I read that some were bothered by the lack of internet access in the rooms, and the church bells; this year, internet use was possible in the rooms, and the church bells were not heard. After visiting the beaches we missed last year, it wasn't a problem to wash the car in the yard. Honestly, both my husband and I would recommend this accommodation to anyone, although we usually don't do that, as we were satisfied with everything.

Our vacation consisted of three: my husband, our son (16 years old), and me. This accommodation is not suitable for three adults, so we really felt cramped in the room. We received a room in the renovated section, as we requested, but I am not satisfied. Although I asked if the room was large enough for three adults, I was told it was. The space between the kitchen elements and the beds was about 60 cm, and there was hardly any space between the beds themselves, so we had to 'jump' into them. If there had been just two of us, this would have been acceptable (not overly luxurious), but for three, it is definitely not. I didn't measure, but the room is probably 3x4 m, plus the entrance area and bathroom. As for the rest, the yard is decent, large, and full of greenery, not neatly arranged but more wild. There is a grill in the yard that we used, and the hosts were very kind and accommodating. I did not like Potos; it has beaches, many cafes, and souvenir shops. You can rent a car, scooter, etc., to go to some of the nearby beaches or take a boat trip, but in Potos itself, middle-aged people do not have much entertainment.

We stayed from September 3rd to 11th with our two-year-old child. The place is predominantly inhabited by Serbs, and in the room next to ours were fellow countrymen, also with a small child, with whom we had a delightful time. The weather was excellent, the hosts were very warm-hearted, and they spoke English exceptionally well, having lived in South Africa for six years. The villa has four additional rooms, and there are plans to renovate three larger rooms, where we intend to stay next year. It is located in the very center of town, yet it is shielded from noise and crowds - a wonderful location, everything is nearby. It has its own parking and a lovely large garden with a grill that we thoroughly enjoyed using. The rooms are new, featuring a mini kitchen in the same space, and there is also a shared large kitchen on the upper floor.

We stayed at Villa Aleksandra from August 27 to September 6, 2012, and extended our stay for two more days until September 8, 2012. The room was comfortable, but the shared kitchen made organization a bit challenging. The owners of the villa were exceptionally friendly, and it was a pleasure to meet them. We really liked Villa Aleksandra for its simplicity and natural surroundings, with a lush courtyard filled with flowers and fruit. All the other villas in the vicinity were in a hi-tech style, which is quite common everywhere.

I was very pleased with the service at Alexander Villa. We stayed in a clean room with a beautiful view of the park below us. Additionally, the furniture is new and modern. Thassos is a truly beautiful island with stunning beaches and excellent hospitality.
