Accommodation stuck in the last century! We have never seen anything like this in our lives! Horrible!

The accommodation is quite decent. It is located away from the main street, providing peace and quiet in the evenings. The studio for two people is spacious and comfortable, and it has everything you need. All the windows are equipped with mosquito nets, which is a huge plus! The internet works well for basic needs, such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook...

The relationship between price and quality is satisfactory, ready for interior renovation. The main complaints concern the beds, mattresses, and pillows.

A complete failure

Poor beds, no internet, parking issues, the landlady does not allow visits, no one is permitted to come over for coffee. The bathroom connects to the kitchen, there is no window, only an opening in the wall, so everything from the bathroom goes into the kitchen... I do not recommend it.

Doukas Studios is quite satisfactory. Our room was a single, featuring a separate bathroom and kitchenette. The room also includes a terrace and parking spaces. The accommodation is ideally located in the center of Potos, yet tucked away from the noise and hustle. A couple of popular beaches are nearby, making Doukas Studios a fantastic choice from this perspective as well. The accommodation is clean, and the hosts are friendly and approachable.

Given that we had no other options, it is fortunate that we found something at all. The location is quite far and on a high floor (2nd floor), the refrigerator barely works, and our complaints have been ignored. We would never have chosen this place had we made a wiser decision. As it stands, we have no right to complain.

We are extremely satisfied with our accommodation at Doukas Studios. The space is comfortable, clean, and located in a peaceful part of the city, with a large yard and parking that adds to the convenience. The owner and staff of the villa are exceptionally pleasant women, all praise to them! Additionally, kudos to the gentleman who worked at the Nikana office and assisted us in finding accommodation. Our experience was wonderful. The accommodation was decent and exceptionally clean. The value for money is a perfect ten.

We stayed in studio number 3 from July 21 to July 28, 2024. We were completely satisfied with the studio; it was clean, located in a beautiful area, close to the promenade and the beach. The landlady and the maid were pleasant and always willing to assist, and parking was provided in the courtyard and in front of the villa. The accommodation was fully booked during our stay, yet there was always a parking space available for everyone. The studio is a bit smaller, but perfectly adequate and functional. There is a lovely and spacious terrace on the eastern side.

An exceptionally pleasant accommodation, the landlady and the cleaner are very kind, located in a peaceful area, just 5 minutes from the center and the city beach. A spacious yard with parking space, abundant flowers and greenery. Each room features a large terrace and doors with mosquito nets and blinds. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary functionalities. If we return to Potos, we will definitely come back here. :)

Decent, the relationship between price and quality aligns perfectly.

This is our second time vacationing at Villa Doukas. The first time, we were disappointed with the size and amenities of the studio. However, when you know what to expect, you prepare differently, and it all seems more pleasant. It is commendable that mosquito nets have been installed this year, the rooms are always clean, and the housekeeper speaks Serbian. In the end, we received a jar of fig jam as a gift from the landlady, which was a lovely gesture.

The accommodation is decent and located in a good area, but the landlady is extremely rude. When we visited friends, we sat and talked casually, staying until 11:30. The landlady yelled every five minutes and hit the terrace railing, which was very uncomfortable. Due to these reasons, I would never recommend this accommodation.

A tranquil location near the city center, the beach, and other amenities in Potos. The accommodation is average in terms of furnishings, but it has everything necessary: a kitchen with a refrigerator, sink, a hot plate with two burners, all functioning perfectly, along with basic cooking and dining utensils; a bathroom with a shower, a sink, a toilet, and a window with a fly screen; a room with air conditioning, a TV, a double bed, two dressers, and a wardrobe, with access to a spacious terrace (also equipped with a fly screen); on the terrace, there is a table with two chairs and a clothes drying rack. Studio number 4, where we stayed, is located on the second floor and is excellently positioned within the building. The sun shines on that side only in the morning, while in the afternoon there is pleasant shade, and in the morning, you can use the awning that also provides comfortable shade. The internet connection is sufficient in terms of capacity and speed. Towels and bed linens are changed every 5 days, along with the cleaning of the studio. We met an older Greek woman, likely the owner, to whom we paid the second installment for the accommodation. There is also an elderly man who rarely appears and does not interfere with anything regarding the accommodation. Interestingly, the cleaning and linen changing is done by a woman from our region, which made communication with the owner easier. The yard is spacious with plenty of shade, has about 5-6 parking spaces, and there are a few more spots on the street. The only real downside was a slightly weaker water pressure in the first few days (but there were no major issues with showering), and then a repairman replaced a pump, so that was no longer a problem.

The rooms are exceedingly small, the mini kitchen is, in the truest sense of the word, mini, and the hygiene is at a low level, especially if you are traveling with a small child; please pay attention. The crib barely fits in the apartment. The shower does not work, nor does the kettle. The elderly lady, the owner, barges into the apartment whenever she pleases, whether you are there or not. We had to move the nightstand because of the crib, which bothered her. All in all, I do not recommend it.

I am satisfied with all the arrangements; an exceptional location for relaxation, peace, and tranquility.

A decent accommodation in a great location. Bobana, our housekeeper, was exceptional, and the communication was excellent.

The villa is situated in an excellent location, close to the beach and markets. It offers parking spaces both in the yard and on the street. It is exceptionally clean.

The accommodation is just as depicted in the pictures, so we received exactly what we expected. Located in a quiet part of Potos, yet close to everything. The room is small, but it is entirely sufficient for our needs since we spent the least amount of time in it.

I believe that the images should be more realistic and up-to-date. Alternatively, we might have been unfortunate to receive a studio without a wardrobe door. Additionally, as I mentioned in my earlier email, the paint in the bathroom is literally peeling off due to moisture, falling on our heads. The woman who maintains the accommodation tried to address the moisture issue after our complaint, but throughout our 10-day stay, it continued to flake off the tiles. In the last two days, when it rained, there was not a drop of hot water for showering. Honestly, we will think carefully before making our next reservation. Communication with you has been excellent, but I believe you should regularly visit the accommodations and provide people with a more accurate picture.

An excellent location, close to the center yet distant from the hustle and bustle. The room is acceptable, though the bed is in such a condition that you wake up at the slightest movement due to its creaking. The terrace is superb, featuring a kitchen in an enclosed area with a view of the sea. WiFi is available but is mostly unusable, while parking is a struggle as it is too small for the number of rooms. The TV offers a few Greek channels, mostly tele-shopping or something similar.

The location is excellent. Overall impressions are positive.

We stayed in Dukas from July 12, 2022. The apartment is a four-bed unit located on the first floor, and it truly represents a proper apartment (not like the 25m2 ones you find on Sithonia, for instance). Everything is clean, tidy, and above all, comfortable. There are two spacious terraces, the beds are cozy and sufficiently large. The linens are changed every four days. There is also the friendly Slobodanka to assist you with communication (the owners speak fluent German, which unfortunately is not my case). This is an old, respected family in Potos who has a love for Serbia, which is evident in every corner of the house. Wonderful, warm people. Together with their son, they also own Villa Agata in Kinira. We have been returning to them for years and hope to see them again next year. The Dukas House is quite far from the beach. The accommodation is very cramped and sparse. The small rooms contain a large double bed in the center, with a maximum of 30 cm on each side. The price from August 1st was 46 euros per day, which is completely disproportionate to the quality. We have never had a worse experience.

Excellent location. The kitchen is extremely small, at least in the studio we stayed in, where you can only brew coffee. The water pressure is poor.

I am satisfied with the accommodation.

We stayed in a three-bed studio from August 16 to 23. The space is exceptionally small, even for two people. The bed was satisfactory, and the kitchen was equipped with the necessary utensils. The terrace was fine. However, the shower cabin lacked a curtain, leaving the entire bathroom wet after showering. The water pressure was disastrous, and after 8 PM, there was not a drop of hot water left. There is a strange, large opening between the bathroom and the kitchen, which is quite nonsensical and unpleasant. Additionally, there is a similar opening from the kitchen to the hallway of the house, making it feel as if you are sleeping in the hallway due to the noise. Parking is available, but you can only snag a spot if you return from the beach among the first; otherwise, you have to park in front of the yard. The air conditioning began to emit a strong odor after three days of use, so we avoided turning it on. All in all, it’s probably fair to say that this is what you get for the price.

A great location, a secluded house in a quiet area, just a few minutes from the promenade. The issue with hot water has been resolved previously. The rooms are small and cramped, but manageable. The terrace was comfortable and excellent, offering a view of the pines and a beautiful courtyard. Parking is available, and it is advisable to bring your own towels.

We moved in during the season at the end of July 2017, in a quiet location that is close to everything. The owner does not speak English, but the maids do. We had an issue with the hot water, but as soon as we mentioned it, they fixed it immediately. It seems to me that a pump is malfunctioning, and they do not pay attention to it until someone complains. The biggest drawback is the size of the studio; we stayed in a triple studio, and there was very little space to pass between the beds and to leave our belongings. All in all, for that price, the accommodation is quite favorable.

The location is the best possible in Potos! The accommodation is satisfactory, the bed linen is changed every 5 days, and a major advantage is the parking space for the car. The WiFi works excellently. The water pressure can sometimes be problematic, and it constantly annoyed us that when we turned on the air conditioning and went to the beach, upon returning to the apartment, we found it turned off, which drove us crazy. The air conditioning cannot be used while you are in the apartment because it blows directly onto the bed, so we turned it on when we weren't there to cool the apartment. All in all, a rating of 4 out of 5.

The most significant aspect regarding the studio is that we received exactly what we expected, except for cleanliness, but in a positive sense. We truly did not anticipate that anyone could clean as thoroughly as I would :D. The studio is modest in size, yet it has everything one could need, with daily cleaning and a change of towels and bed linens every five days. The woman who owns the place is neither seen nor heard, while the cleaning lady is very kind and always at our service. We even asked if they could wash two loads of laundry for us, and they agreed for 5 euros per load. This was not initially offered as an option, but there you go. Given how we planned our vacation, this type of accommodation was precisely what we needed, although we only swam in Potos the first and last day. In that regard, it is a bit further if you are hauling a refrigerator, one bag, and two bags of toys along with a two-and-a-half-year-old child... but despite that, we managed to reach it in about 15 minutes on foot. The hostess is pleasant and unobtrusive. The three-person studio we stayed in is small and has ventilation openings, but it is clean, tidy, and equipped with everything necessary. The terrace is satisfactory, and the awnings are useful in the morning. Parking in the shade and absolute peace, which is not very common in Potos, are significant advantages. We did not use the yard with the grill and swings. The constant issue with water pressure significantly detracts from the overall experience. The Wi-Fi generally works as it should.

As I read some comments, I find myself wondering whether we stayed in the same accommodation. The only two praises I can offer are for the location, as it is situated in the center but in a quiet part of Potos, and the fact that there is a parking space available for your car. Beyond that, I am not even sure if I should comment further. Sure, the room is merely two square meters, but the fact that the toilet is connected by an opening to the kitchen is something you wouldn’t expect even in the worst accommodations. Moreover, that same kitchen is linked by such an opening to the hallway, giving you the impression that you are sleeping in the hallway since you can hear even the faintest sound when someone passes by the room. The biggest issue was that when you return from the beach in the evening, there is no water for washing, let alone for washing your hair. The water from the shower literally runs dry. In the morning, the situation is somewhat better, but it is of no use when you don’t have any water after coming back from the beach. All in all, in my opinion, the price for this two-bedroom studio in August is not 43 euros, but rather 20 euros, and then I would understand what those 20 euros mean, and I would not have chosen this accommodation. We will probably revisit Thassos someday, but this accommodation is off the table for me.

The villa is excellent for the price. It is relatively close to the beach, about a 5 to 6-minute walk. It is near the center, yet sufficiently distant and tucked away, ensuring there is no noise or traffic. The courtyard is very beautiful, completely surrounded by greenery, and the rooms are decent, equipped with all the essentials. The WiFi is outstanding throughout the villa. The bed linens are changed every five days. The only drawback is the mosquitoes, which are resistant to almost everything. We found that neither mosquito nets, raid tablets, children's repellents, nor Autan helped us... There is parking available in the courtyard. Our impressions are very positive.

When compared to the price, the accommodation is fantastic. What you see in the picture is exactly what you will find on-site. The property is just a five-minute walk from the beach and is situated on a quiet street - free from noise and commotion. The rooms could be slightly larger, but with a little rearranging of the furniture, you can create more space. Each room has an awning, ensuring that the sun never shines directly through the windows. The kitchen is reasonably equipped - frying pan, pot, salad bowl, cezve, deep and shallow plates, forks, spoons, knives, glasses, cups, cutting board... (dishwashing powder is not provided). Bed linens and towels are changed every three days. There is plenty of water, though there is a minor issue with hot water between 11 PM and 8 AM, as the pressure is lower on the top floor. There are quite a few mosquitoes, but the device with tablets takes care of that. What I particularly liked is that each vehicle has its own parking space, and those spaces are shaded. Next time, I would go to Doukas without a second thought; I wholeheartedly recommend it.
