The accommodation is just as shown in the pictures, with no hidden flaws. It is beautiful, new, clean, and spacious enough; everything is in order and functional. The owner is very pleasant and accommodating; we only saw him when we wanted to. Highly recommended.

The accommodation is situated in the best location in Potos. You won't even notice when you head to the beach or the store, as you will have already arrived. Between the accommodation and the church, there are only two houses, and across from the church is the Nikane agency. If you are located on the side facing the road, you can see all of this, and you also have a view of the sea. The only thing that might not be to your liking is the noise of cars, since it is a regional road. However, by the third day, you will have already gotten used to it. 😄 Just kidding. It’s not that bad, but I want to point out that there is some noise, even though the accommodation is not directly on the road (there is a small parking lot and a street separating them). Studios on the other side of the accommodation do not have this issue. Nearby, there is a promenade with all the restaurants, souvenir shops, and stores. The hosts are friendly, bed linens and towels are changed every fifth day, and the accommodation is clean and tidy.

The distance to the beach, city center, shops, and bakery is just 2 minutes away. The host is friendly, and parking is provided.

Janis and his wife are very kind, unobtrusive, and they quickly resolve any issues that may arise. All praises and recommendations for the accommodation and hosts.

The owners are exceptionally kind. The accommodation (studio for three people) is rather small, as is the miniature bathroom. The wardrobe in the room is insufficient for accommodating three people. Dining is only possible on the terrace, where there is a table with chairs, which is uncomfortable when the weather is bad outside. There is no space inside to bring in a table. The cleanliness is satisfactory, bed linens are changed every five days, and the toilet is cleaned then as well.

My husband, our four-year-old son, and I stayed at Velo Studio from September 2nd to 14th. We were accommodated in a three-bed studio, number 3. We were completely satisfied with both the accommodation and the relationship with the owner, as well as the collaboration with Nikana. The accommodation is conveniently located near the beach and all activities, shops, and bakeries. It also features ample parking. Janis, the owner, was always available for any assistance we needed, unobtrusive yet kind. All in all, the accommodation comes highly recommended. And of course, kudos to Nikana and her friendly team.

August 2019. We stayed in a three-bed studio, number 7. We received exactly what we paid for, and it matched the pictures. While I would rate the comfort and amenities poorly, I won't, as the price-quality ratio is excellent. The location is the best, and there is also private parking available. The owner, Janis, is a wonderful person, and he will provide you with anything you need; just ask. They provide towels that are like new, and they changed them for us three times, and also cleaned. This villa is ideal for those who only sleep in the accommodation and spend the entire day exploring the island. We traveled nearly 500 km around Thassos. We dined in taverns by the beach during the day and in the city at night. The only meal we had in the studio was breakfast, so nothing other than a heavy feeling bothered us while we were there.

An excellent apartment with a spacious terrace overlooking the sea. It is much closer to the beach than we anticipated (just 1 minute). The accommodation is clean and equipped with all the necessary items in the kitchen. The only drawback is the small shower cabin and low water pressure. The host, Janis, is pleasant and kind. We also had access to the hotel pool along with the apartment. Everything is conveniently located. I highly recommend it for a family vacation.

The accommodation is good, clean, situated in a lovely location, and has its own parking. There was no noise (the room overlooked the courtyard - the other building). It is a bit inconvenient that the hallway of the other building faces directly onto the terrace and room, but this can be easily resolved with a curtain. The bathroom is small but sufficient. The room has been renovated, it is small but tastefully arranged. The owner deserves high praise.

After ten delightful days in Potos, staying in a five-person apartment with a spacious terrace offering a breathtaking view of the sea, we found ourselves contemplating a return to the same destination next year for the first time. The proximity of the beach where the sun sets around 9 PM, the beautiful nearby beaches, and the friendly hosts... We had a wonderful vacation on Thassos!

During our stay at Velo Studio, my wife, our four-year-old son, and I were there from September 1 to 11, 2012. We were accommodated in a three-bed apartment (studio) on the first floor. The apartment is renovated, exceptionally clean, and equipped with basic utensils, but if you find anything lacking, the owner Janis is truly kind and accommodating, ensuring you have everything you need. The apartment also provides towels, and the bedding is changed every five days. Unlike some other accommodations, it is remarkably quiet and peaceful, especially in the courtyard apartments. The location is excellent, just a hundred steps from the most beautiful part of the city beach. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation as well as Nikana's service.

I stayed with my family from August 12 to August 27, 2012. This was not my choice, as I wanted to go to another island (I had been to Potos six years ago), but I agreed because of my friends. I believe that for the same amount of money, we could have had much better accommodation both in Skiathos and Zakynthos (I say this from experience, not just off the top of my head).

We stayed at Yannisa from July 28 to August 7, 2012. My girlfriend (now fiancée :)) and I were very pleased with the accommodation. The studio we stayed in is located on the roof of the building and features two terraces, one of which is huge with a beautiful view of the sea. Everything is relatively new, clean, and tidy. Bedding, towels, and cleaning are done every five days. The hosts are very kind. We will have to come back next year because I forgot my cap in the room... ;) A big hello to the hosts and the Nikana team :)

We are a family of four and we visited Potos in July this year. The MTB studio, or rather our room, met all our requirements: very tidy, small but perfectly adequate, and it even had a terrace where we spent most of our time when we weren't at the beach. I was very pleased to find that we were provided with towels, as I won't have to carry them in my suitcase next time. We received clean linens and towels on the 4th or 5th day, which I think is quite sufficient. The owners are very kind, although we rarely saw them, they were willing to buy a new stove for us since the one with just one burner was insufficient given that there are four of us cooking. The main street of Potos is less than a 5-minute walk from the accommodation, and the city beach is quite nice if you take sunbeds, as there really isn't much room for towels. We particularly enjoyed Psiliamos beach, which isn't far, and Aliki, but you need to go early because there isn't much space, and you are required to have lunch at one of the restaurants if you are on sunbeds. The food in the restaurants is somewhat pricier, and the best gyros is at Jorgos on the main street. I forgot to mention that the rooms also have air conditioning that is not charged separately.

What my athletes and I can say is that everything exceeded our expectations, as we truly have rich experience with travels and preparations. Just this year, we visited Turkey, Cyprus, Italy, and Malaysia. Tasos is uniquely beautiful, and Jani, the owner of the MTB villa, is remarkably hospitable and a true host. The accommodation is excellent, the center is nearby, and the beach is just 50 meters away. In close proximity, there is a pool at the Maria hotel, where the people are also welcoming and genuine hosts. Bicycles can be rented by agreement; Jani provided us with 10 bicycles for 30 euros, along with magical bike tours to the monastery. We will be returning, and this time in greater numbers.

I vacationed with my husband in July 2011. The MTB studio is located very close to the city beach, about 100 meters away. The studio itself is situated in a beautiful and peaceful location. It has its own parking, which is crucial for Potos. Everything is within reach: a shop, bakery, pharmacy, and pizzeria. The only downside is the presence of mosquitoes, but the hosts are not to blame for that. I would highly recommend a vacation in Potos for those who enjoy peace and quiet, and wish to have everything close by, as was the case for us. I would suggest traveling by your own car, and if that is not possible, definitely rent a car to explore the stunning beaches, of which there are many. Ten days is a short time if you want to see everything.

I spent my vacation with my wife in the first half of September 2011. The accommodation was comfortable, located in close proximity to a church, and the hosts, Mr. Yannis Reizis and his family, were exceptionally kind. The cleanliness was commendable, and the beach, shops, and town center were very nearby. I explored the entire island: all the beaches, cultural and historical monuments, and a large number of restaurants. Besides swimming on the beautiful sandy beaches, I enjoyed long walks along the well-maintained paths through the pine forests that Tasos is abundantly blessed with. Among the restaurants, I give a perfect score to the tavern IATPOY in Teologos. The experience was complete, and I especially thank Ms. Ana for her cooperation and kindness.

We vacationed as a couple from July 15 to July 30, 2011, and we were extremely satisfied with the accommodation, especially since it is not located in the bustling center, which is always noisy and crowded, yet just a minute away from all the events, restaurants, and beaches. The accommodation is new, tidy, and the hosts are very kind and available without being intrusive, truly deserving all praise. The only thing we found lacking was a bit more space, although the room where we merely slept exceeded our expectations. Since we arrived by car, we explored the beaches all over Thassos every day, and the beach in Potos is certainly the warmest and not as crowded as some of the more famous ones. Of course, one must visit Marble Beach, Golden Beach, and Paradiso (for those who enjoy long shallows), but the closest to Potos and, in our opinion, one of the most beautiful is Psili Ammos, along with the natural pool that should not be missed. The food prices during that period were indeed high, I would even say outrageous, so that is the only potential issue. All in all, we were extremely satisfied, highly recommend it, and if we go to Thassos again, we will definitely choose MTB :)
