A wonderful place for a getaway, just a step away from the sea, tranquility and silence. The hosts were exceptional; we received gifts upon our arrival and departure. Everything was excellent.

The location of the property is excellently positioned for exploring the island. We were accommodated in a new and very well-equipped studio with a beautiful terrace that was completely private. The beach in front of the accommodation is rocky for the first few meters, but after that, it reveals stunning sand. There are also sun loungers on the beach that you can use. Considering that guests usually visit other beaches, you get the impression of having the place to yourself. Be sure to buy water shoes; they were very useful for us on this beach as well as others. The owners are very kind and pleasant. The entire property is very clean and tidy. After a few days, they changed our linens and towels. The only downside is the weak internet, so if you don’t have your own, it can be quite inconvenient. If you want a peaceful, comfortable, yet not boring vacation, this is the right place for it. We will definitely be returning to the same location next year. Best regards!

I spent seven days with my family in a four-person apartment. It was a true pleasure to vacation here. The first impression upon entering the apartment was a breathtaking view. It was especially delightful to watch the sunsets. The apartment is exceptionally clean and tidy. The yard is beautifully landscaped, featuring a spacious covered communal terrace. The beach is exclusively for the apartment's guests, ensuring that it is never crowded. The hosts are very kind. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone who wishes to swim in clean waters, relax, and enjoy the company of their family or friends, far from the noise and bustle of city beaches.

We are extremely satisfied with the accommodation as well as the owners. Everything was perfect. The room was renovated, and the terrace offers a view of the sea... The location of the accommodation is excellent for exploring the island. Highly recommended.

Before making the reservation payment, I attempted to find comments and reviews of the accommodation online, but to no avail; I found nothing anywhere. I promised myself that upon returning from vacation, I would describe my experience with Akti Klisma studios in as much detail and with as much imagery as possible. First and foremost, it was very easy to find the accommodation – just a kilometer after Skala Kalirahi, on the main road, there is a clearly visible sign indicating that you are in the right place. When I opened the gate, it felt as if I had stepped into a paradise garden – a beautiful garden surrounded me, a gentle breeze was blowing, and the sea was right next to the accommodation. We were greeted by the owner, who was kind and smiling, immediately hugging my children and leading us to the middle studio on the ground floor. Another pleasant surprise followed – a sofa bed was added, even though we hadn't requested it (thinking it would significantly reduce the space, but it didn't). As for the kitchen, there were enough plates of all sizes, two or three plastic bowls, sufficient cutlery, glasses, mugs, and one frying pan (quite worn out, but fortunately, I had brought one from home) and only one larger pot, which significantly limited my cooking options. I couldn’t figure out how to use the two burners simultaneously, so I used just one. Luckily, I had brought a sponge and detergent since there was none provided. The biggest disappointment was the bathroom, which was quite small; this isn't a major issue, but it was annoying that there was no curtain, making it quite slippery and inconvenient after showering. We somehow managed this with a shared broom and mop that you can use (as well as a broom) located on the terrace, so you can freely take them when needed. The terrace is shared (as seen in the pictures), with each studio having its own table and chairs. This could create a problem if you have unsuitable neighbors, but we were fortunate that everyone was polite. Now, the view from the terrace, when you sit down, tired after the journey, and start sipping the coffee (which you receive from the owner as a welcome gesture), is endless enjoyment. The sea is right beside you, a gentle breeze blows, and that relaxing scent, the endless blue in front of you – a paradise on earth (until the kids start yelling and bring you back to reality). Regarding the beach, it is definitely not suitable for children compared to others on Thassos, as can be seen in the pictures, but this can easily be resolved by going to nearby sandy beaches. We wanted a peaceful accommodation right next to the sea, planning to explore other beaches in the afternoon. Later, it turned out that this beach was quite nice too; it’s just good to have suitable footwear for walking on stones and pebbles. There are many sea urchins on the right side (looking from the terrace) of the beach, but in front of the accommodation, there is a path leading into the sea where they are absent. After about ten steps, the sand begins and it is shallow (for adults and older children), so swimming is just like on numerous beaches. The sea is beautiful, warm, and clean; it only gets murky when there are waves (which happened for two or three days), and then we enjoyed battling with them. The sunsets are indescribable; I believe it was still light even after 9 PM. The nights were cooler, without the need to turn on the air conditioning (though we didn’t turn it on during the day either), it was enough to leave the window open (there are mosquito nets on both the window and the additional sliding doors, which I think are not visible in the pictures on the website, but they exist). The only sounds at night are the waves, which is enjoyable, except when they are strong and crash against the rocks in front of the studio, making it a bit inconvenient. Our bed linens were changed on the fourth day, and our towels were changed daily (at my husband's request). Just before we left, we received a complimentary bottle of drink and a plate of olives from the owner; they produce them themselves, so we were pleasantly surprised. As for the guests (if that matters to anyone), there were Serbs, Greeks, Romanians, couples, families, and older people. It was stated that visitors pay 5 euros, but friends of ours with two children came one afternoon, and nothing was charged to us. The quiet hours are from 3 PM to 5 PM and from midnight to 8 AM. Now, let me mention the few things that bothered us, which we expected considering the price guests pay (this also bothered other guests) – as I already mentioned, there was no detergent or sponge, only one pot, and a worn-out and scratched frying pan. Toilet paper was not provided after we used the two rolls that were there when we arrived, and there were no curtains in the shower cabin. When our bed linens were changed, the woman swept the room and that was it; there was no more cleaning, or we didn’t notice it. I saw that the upper studios were being cleaned, so I suppose you have to ask for that too. And I have nothing else in particular to highlight that bothered us. All in all, a wonderful vacation in a beautiful and peaceful place, right by the sea, with a large terrace if the one in front of the accommodation is not enough (as can be seen in the pictures). And definitely buy olive oil from the owner; for 20 euros, you get 5 liters of quality oil. I believe the accommodation is ideal for those seeking peace and relaxation, while those with children might want to choose something else. Although we had a lovely time, I think the children would enjoy themselves more in a different place.
