The city beach at Skala Kallirachi is small and mostly gravel on the shore and in the water. It is not organized and has no sunbeds and umbrellas. It can be used when you are not in a position to visit some of the more beautiful beaches on the island.

On the way out of the village, towards Limenaria, along the coast, there are several accommodations (Manolis, Plaka Studios, Akti Klisma) and in front of them is a narrow, rocky beach with paths to the sandy parts. This part of the coast, though rocky, is neat, with free sunbeds for the guest of facilities.
