I suppose that a small number of our tourists have traveled to Eratini near Peloponnese, so here I can write my experience for those who think about that destination. So we started on this road without much information.

Eratini belongs to the Delphi region, close to the Peloponnese peninsula. The waves of the Ionian Sea sprinkled it. Since this is a barrier area, it often has moderate waves. I know that most of us love sandy beaches, but here are the beaches of the pebbles (for change, and the water remains longer clear). Greeks are the main tourists, some German, Czech and we :) (I did not hear the Serbian language for 12 days - I wished it).

The place is non-commercialized: there are no sellers of donuts on the beach, there are no shops with bijouterie, there are no noisy cafes … We came in the years when this is good for us (for the first time we were fishing on the sea). If we wished for a bit of dynamism, we went to the nearest town - Galaxidi or to a larger city - Itea. The prices in the restaurants are better: giros-2e, pizza-7 to 10e (for three persons), coca-cola-1,5e, beer-3e …

We chose this place as a base, and for two days we had excursions. About 50km from Eratini is the archaeological site of Delphi (the ticket is 6e for adults, and if you want to visit the museum, the price is 12e per person). Also, slightly more than 50 km is the Rio-Antirio Bridge, that when we crossed it, we arrived in Patra, to Peloponnese. The crossing of the bridge itself is an experience, with a price of 13.3e in one direction.

Will we go next year in the same place? Not. I think there are many places worth to experience. Was it nice to us? Yes. We experienced a different style of vacation, so Greece seemed us different. We calmed down nerves, filled the batteries, and it would probably last until next year …
