Hatzis House is situated in one of the finest locations in Nikiti, just a five-minute walk from a beautiful sandy beach and the town center, yet away from the crowds and noise. The property is not new, but in decent condition, equipped modestly yet adequately for a pleasurable stay. It is one of the more affordable accommodations in close proximity to the beach in this popular resort.
The beginning of the town beach and the promenade near the harbor, as well as the center of Nikiti, are approximately 300m away from the accommodation. A supermarket and the nearest bakery are 200m away.
There are a total of six units available. These consist of two types of apartments, with one (30m2) or two (50m2) bedrooms. Quadruple apartments are not available for rent this season.
The apartments with one bedroom, a kitchen, and a bathroom can accommodate 3-4 people. All triple apartments have three single beds in the bedroom, except for one at the back of the house, which has one additional and two single beds. The quadruple apartments have two connected single beds in the bedroom and in the kitchen area. The apartments with two bedrooms have a total of five beds (2+3 single beds), a kitchen, and a bathroom. One apartment overlooks the courtyard, while the other is at the back of the house. All apartments are furnished with old, yet well-preserved wooden furniture and have private, spacious terraces equipped with seating furniture and a clothesline.
The ground floor apartments are elevated three steps above ground level, while access to one triple apartment requires climbing seven steps. The triple and pentuple apartments on the ground floor offer a partial view of the sea and the courtyard, while the others overlook the parking space behind the house or the courtyard. In the triple apartments, the entrance leads directly from the kitchen into the bedroom and the bathroom, while the quadruple and pentuple apartments have a small hallway from which you can access the other rooms.
All apartments have a kitchen with a dining area, equipped with slightly outdated amenities. The triple apartments have a mini stove, while the larger apartments have a standard stove. There is also a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, basic kitchen utensils, and cutlery. The larger apartments have a shower with a curtain in the bathroom, while the smaller ones have a bathtub. Hot water is available during the day until 23:00, when it automatically shuts off. The apartments are air-conditioned and equipped with TV, internet, and mosquito nets on all windows and doors. Guests can request a new set of bed linen and towels halfway through their stay from the owner, and they are responsible for changing and cleaning the room themselves. Room cleaning service is available at an additional cost, and if guests desire more frequent towel and bed linen changes, they can request it for an extra charge.
The advantage of this accommodation is its enclosed, well-maintained and landscaped courtyard with a pergola and plenty of natural shade. The accommodation does not have private parking, but guests can park behind the house in a dead-end street or in the surrounding streets.
To reach the accommodation easily, you should turn right at the traffic lights from the main road into Nikiti, continue towards the sea on the main street for about 600m, and then turn right again at the Plaisir bakery-patisserie.
Hatzis House would be a good choice for less demanding tourists who prefer proximity to the sea, beautiful beaches, and all the amenities of this ideal place for evening walks.
