Arsanas (Afroditi) beach is a small, wild cove located directly under St. Archangel Michail monastery.

In order to get to the beach, you need to turn from the main road to Livadi beach and bay and then to follow the dusty road for about 2km until you reach the parking and then walk down via a narrow and steep path.

This beach is known for its turquoise water, very clear but cold because on its right side cold, fresh mountain water is flowing down.

Beach is sandy on the shore, but the first few meters in the water are rocky. There are sea urchins in some places so be careful. For good swimmers this beach is great, but we don’t recommend it for parents with small children.

There are several great fishing places around this beach.

Last years Arsanas is an organized beach. There are sunbeds and umbrellas with a small cantina, but there is no crowd.

Distance from Potos is about 20km on the east side.
