Arsanas beach is small, wild cove located directly under St. Archangel Michael monastery.
In order to get to the beach you need to park your car at the monastery and than walk down via narrow and steep path.
This beach is know for its turquoise water, very clear and somewhat cold, because on its right side cold mountain water is flowing down.
They say that water from this spring is powerful aphrodisiac so you can bring with you bottle or canister :-) Beach is sandy on the shore, but first few meters in the water are rocky. There are sea urchins in some places so be careful. For good swimmers this beach is great, but I don't recommend it for parents with small children.
There are several great fishing places around this beach.
Arsanas is not organized beach. There is no music, sunbeds or umbrellas, but also, there is not crowd. Distance from Potos is around 15km on the east side.
