There are plenty of options available for car rentals in Sithonia but agencies are limited to towns of Nikiti, Neos Marmaras and Sarti. During the off-season months rental prices are significantly lower than the peak summer months and you can expect prices to increase over 40-100%. Although by booking in advance you cannot avoid high seasonal prices, we strongly recommend you booking as far in advance as possible in order to take advantage of off-season discounts.

The town of Nikiti offers four rental agencies: Europcar, Hertz, Ecomotion, and Nikiti Chalkidiki (Sonia). All agencies here in Nikiti require a Greek, European (for EU countries) or International (for countries that do not belong to the EU) driving license for booking and require a personal credit card with the exception of Europcar and Ecomotion which accept deposits upwards of 300e. During the months leading up to the summer all agencies offer basic economy class vehicles beginning around 30e per day and all include basic CDW (Collision Damage Waiver). Although at most agencies you will need to pay between 15-35e for full coverage some agencies, like Ecomotion, include full cover insurance in their rates. If you are looking for luxury vehicles or SUVs you should contact multiple agencies or browse online to decide which best fits your needs. You can access each agency and book vehicles all online with ease. The minimum age required to rent in Nikiti is 21 with the exception of Ecomotion and Sonia Rent A Car at 23.

The town of Neos Marmaras offers four rental agencies as well: Avis, Greece Car Rentals, Auto365, and Car Choice. To surprise, Avis is the only agency here which requires a Greek, European (EU) or International license, all others require only a valid DL and passport and all agencies require a personal credit card but deposits will vary. You can expect the basic rental packages during the summer to be anywhere from 40-55e and depending on the agency, such as Greece Car Rentals and Car Choice, you can pay between 7e and 15e for full coverage insurance. Keep in mind that all agencies provide basic CDW coverage but you will need to inquire with each company individually for coverage details. The minimum age to rent at all agencies except Greece Car Rentals is 21 but expect to pay a Young Driver Surcharge of 10e/day at Avis.

Finally if you have traveled all the way to the southeastern shoreline’s of Sithonia and are in need of a rental, do not worry, MasterCar provides rentals in Sarti. You will find they have the common requirements here: Minimum of 23 years old, Non-EU nationals must have a valid international drivers license, and accepts payments by credit cards only (Visa or Mastercard). Be weary of day travels out of Sarti because they allow a minimum of 3 days only which prices begin at 50e per day during the season and decrease by about 20% during the off-season.
