Hotel Description

Pithari House represents an oasis of peace in the area of Garitsa, the oldest part of the main city of the island of Corfu, located 1km away from the nearest beach. The accommodation, named after the Greek word “pithari”, which describes a typical flower pot made of clay and represents an essential element in the long-standing tradition of Corfu, harmoniously combines modern and traditional style.

The accommodation unit is located on the ground floor, consists of two levels, and can accommodate four people. It includes a living room, kitchen with a dining table, and a bathroom on the first level, while on the second level (on the level of the first floor) there are two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with two single beds) and a bathroom.

The accommodation features air conditioning, TV, WiFi internet, safe, hairdryer, washing machine, iron and ironing board, kitchen equipped with a four-burner stove and large oven, large fridge with freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, and coffee machine. The bathrooms have a shower cabin and a shower without a tub with a glass partition. A baby cot and a high chair are available upon request.

Guests have access to a beautifully landscaped courtyard and a veranda that offers outdoor dining space. The courtyard is completely fenced and decorated with large clay flower pots and a traditional stone well, making it an ideal place for relaxation.

Cleaning of the accommodation unit, as well as the replacement of bed linen and towels, is done every three or four days.

Pets are not allowed. Parking is not available, but spaces can be found in the surrounding streets.

Pithari House is 3.4km away from the port and 950m from the airport. Nearby attractions include the church of Panagia Vlahernon, the Serbian Museum, the Mon Repos Palace, and the Ionian University.

Booking and Cancellation Terms

Adults are considered to be persons older than 12 years.
Overnight environmental tax is not included in prices.
Deposit of 20% is required to confirm the reservation. Remaining balance should be payed first day upon arrival. If cancelled 30 or more days prior to arrival, paid money will be fully refunded. If cancelled at any time later, paid money is non-refundable. In the case of no-show, 20% of total reservation will be charged. In the case of early departure, 100% of remaining days will be charged. *If a deposit refund is possible, the shipping costs are borne by the guest. The amount of the costs depends on the chosen shipping method and bank. The average time for a refund after cancellation is three weeks.
