Our description

Akrathos Houses is the accommodation at the entrance to Polychrono, on the left from the direction of Thessaloniki. It's set in exceptionally landscaped garden with a natural shade, covered parking lot, a playground for children, barbecue, gazebo and two exits, towards the main road i.e. towards the beach road. The offer includes four six-bed maisonettes, five four-bed maisonettes and two separate apartments, i.e. traditional wooden house for five people and traditional house for 4 people. The beach is only 40m away.

The center of Polychrono is 700-800m away.

Sextuple maisonettes type A (75m2) have a kitchen with the necessary utensils, standard stove and large refrigerator, two sofa beds, dining table and a bathroom with a shower and curtain or glass partition on the ground floor. Upstairs, thre are two bedrooms, with one double i.e. a smaller double and a bunk bed.

Quadruple, maisonettes type B (55m2) are set on the second floor. They have a kitchen with the necessary utensils, mini-stove and refrigerator, two sofa beds, bathroom with a shower and curtain or a glass partition and the exit to the terrace on the lower part. The attic (the upper part) has no exit to the terrace and consists of a bedroom with one double bed.

The smallest apartment (50m2), i.e. house in the backyard, is furnished in a traditional style. There's a living room with a sofa bed, kitchen with a dining table, large stove and refrigerator and a bathroom with a shower and curtain on the lower level, as well as a bedroom with one double and a single bed up the stairs.

The traditional house is an apartment for four people (60m2). It is located on the ground floor and has a bedroom with a double bed and a pull-out sofa in the kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped. It has a built-in 4-burner hob and a large oven, toaster, coffee maker and a large fridge. The bathroom has a shower without a curtain. The apartment has a large veranda, equipped with seating, where you can dine. The veranda looks towards the courtyard.

Accommodation units have internet, A/C (two or three units), TV, washing machine and mosquito nets. Upon request, the owner offers (free) hairdryer, iron, baby cot, parasols and deck chairs.

Cleaning is provided once a week and towels and bed linen are replaced every third day (bed linen can be replaced more often with an additional charge).

The beach (40m) is slightly pebbly, with a gradual entrance and large rocks in the water.

The accommodation is in excellent condition, so we recommend it to all ages, especially families with children.

Owners description

Between the green of pine plantations of Kassandra and the intense blue of Halkidiki's sea, we created (2008) a small complex of maisonettes, situated on one of the most beautiful spots in Polihrono. Only 40m away from the beach, the rooms are wrapped by the sea breeze and the scents of the garden, with bright colours and freshness, modern furniture, sea view and the warm feeling of hospitality.

Akrathos Houses consist of nine maisonettes. Between the rooms and the sea view, a lush garden provides an elegant wooden barbecue, offering autonomy in summer lunches and dinners, a spacious place for rest and relaxation. A path leads you directly to the golden beach of the hotel, a clean open sea, with sand and pebbles, and free sunbeds and umbrellas for our guests. There's also free wireless internet, parking place, balconies and small patios with colourful tables and chairs that emphasize the joyful summer atmosphere.

Apartments are divided into two types, A and B and share the stylish building.

Apartment type A (75m2) accommodates 4-6 people. It has fully equipped kitchen (coffee machine, ceramic oven set, fridge, toaster and kettle), plasma TV, washing machine, living room with two couches, dining table for four, two bedrooms on the upper level (with one double i.e. a small double and a bunk bed), three A/C units, balconies and a patio on the ground level.

Apartment type Β (55m2) accommodates 2-4 people. It has fully equipped kitchen (coffee machine, fridge, toaster, kettle, mini-oven with three cooking plates and utensils), plasma TV, washing machine, living room with two couches, dining table for four, loft-bedroom with one double bed, two A/C units and a balcony.
