Aegean Melathron is a luxury, 5-Star hotel and a member of the Aegean Star Hotels Group. It is situated in the Peninsula of Cassandra, at Chalkidiki, which is a steady centre of attraction for thousands of visitors both from Greece and abroad. It is located 90 km away from Thessaloniki and just 3km away from the cosmopolitan resort of Kallithea. The location is breathtaking and offers contrasting natural landscapes of unique beauty. The hotel is surrounded by a verdant wooded area reaching all the way down to a golden beach and the crystal-clear blue waters of the Gulf of Toroni.

Chalkidiki is a three-pronged peninsula located south of the city of Thessaloniki. It comprises of three smaller peninsulas (Cassandra, Sithonia and Athos) that resemble a trident piercing the blue waters of the Aegean. These three ''prongs'' give Chalkidiki a uniquelly winding shape, as well the longest stretch of coastline (approx. 550 km) than any other mainland prefecture in Greece. Golden, sun-drenched sandy beaches, idyllic gulfs, traditional villages and modern vacation resorts, scattered islets, sheltered coves, pine-clad hills dropping to the sea, all together make up the picture of modern-day Chalkidiki. The capital city of Polygyros is located right in the center of the peninsula.

The hotel has 254 rooms of various types, such as double rooms, junior suites, suites, maisonettes and suites with private pool. The hotel is built over two sides of the main road and connected by a private pedestrian underpass. The rooms at the upper part of the hotel have pool & garden view; the rooms at the lower part of the hotel have sea view. An electrical club car transportation service is available within the complex. Irrespective of the type of room, the decoration is impressive and they are all equipped with the modern amenities of a 5-star hotel.

A welcome package consisting of a fruit basket, wine and mineral water awaits the guests in the rooms upon their arrival. Upon departure, a farewell gift will remind them of the happy moments they experienced in our hotel. The complex has especially arranged rooms for physically impaired guests, with a view to facilitating their stay.

The size of a double room is 25m2. The decoration is elegant and functional, in natural colours and materials. All double rooms have bathrooms with a bathtub. There are double rooms both in the main building as well as the bungalows area. There are also especially arranged rooms for physically impaired guests.

Junior suites have two areas and their size is 36m2. The first area is a living room with sofa, which may be converted into a double bed and the second area is the master bedroom. The two areas are separated by a door. They have a standard bathroom with bathtub and an auxiliary WC with washing basin and toilet.

Split-level bungalows are built on two levels, connected by an interior staircase. The living room and the first bathroom with shower cabin are located on the first level and the bedroom and second bathroom, with bathtub, are located on the second level. The size of each split-level suite is 48m2 and they are all located in the bungalow area.

The suites have a spacious living room, a large bedroom and two bathrooms (a main bathroom with bathtub / Jacuzzi, and a second bathroom with a shower cabin). In the bathrooms, visitors can enjoy exclusive toiletry products. The living room and bedroom are separated by a sliding door. The size of each area is about 20m2 and the total area of the suites is approximately 52m2. Flowers, champagne, a fruit basket and mineral water welcome the guests upon arrival. The suites are also equipped with a mini bar. All suites are located in the bungalow area and have terraces.

The suites with private pool are located in the bungalow area. The pool is located on the suite terrace, and its 1.5m deep. The suites with private pool, as all the other suites of the hotel, are comprised of a spacious living room, a large bedroom and two bathrooms (a main bathroom with bathtub / Jacuzzi, and a second bathroom with a shower cabin). In the bathrooms, visitors can enjoy exclusive toiletry products. The living room and bedroom are separated by a sliding door. The size of each area is about 20m2 and the total area of the suites is approximately 67m2. Flowers, a fruit basket, champagne and mineral water welcome the guests upon arrival. The suites are also equipped with a mini bar.

The presidential suite is in a separate bungalow, near the sea. It is a comfortable apartment consisting of 1 large bedroom, a second bedroom, a large living room and two bathrooms with bathtub. There is also a small kitchen. Room size is 80m.

**Pools: **The hotel has 9 pools in both parts. Eight of them are filled with sea water and one of these has Jacuzzi. The minimum and maximum depth of these pools is 0,5m and 1,7m respectively. Naturally these pools have special areas for children, with a maximum depth of 0,6m. There are also 2 indoor pools (use only for adults). The area next to the pool is equipped with all the necessary equipment for absolute relaxation: Deck chairs, umbrellas and small tables. The nearby bars service all the outdoor pools. Towel service is provided (with deposit).

Beach: The hotel has a beach, about 200m long. Open, landscaped areas with turf are located near the beach. The beach is 20m large, and the waters are shallow for about 30 m. The beach is equipped with deck chairs and umbrellas and you can use them for a fee. At the beach there is also a sea sports centre. You can try out the most popular sea sports such as water-skiing, ringos, jet skiing, pedalos, canoes, banana boats and sea parachutes.

**Children’s playgrounds – Mini Club: **For our young friends we have prepared two playgrounds in the hotel gardens. Furthermore, a specially trained Entertainment Team - speaking various languages - with the slogan “Exercise, Games and Creativity“ guarantees the safe and responsible supervision of your children, while they engage in various activities of their choice. You will also find various snacks (such as cheese pies, toasts, cold sandwiches, hot dogs) for a light and fast meal. **Pool bar Aegean** Open: 9:00am - 6:00pm The pool bar Aegean is located in the part of the hotel on the other side of the road, next to the pool. Cool off with sorbets, soft drinks, coffees and ice creams after endless hours of sunbathing and relaxing. You will also find various snacks (such as cheese pies, toasts, cold sandwiches, hot dogs) for a light and fast meal. **Beach bar Thalassa** Open: 09:00am - 6:00pm (beginning and end of season) 09:00am - 11:00pm (all other months) You dont have to leave the beach; the beach bar can offer you everything you may need: water, coffees, sorbets, soft drinks, beers, ice creams, cheese pies, toasts, cold sandwiches, and hot dogs.

**Watersport: **Travel in the wonderful, blue waters of Chalkidiki by one of the boats of the Aquaspeed Company. Thus, you will be able to visit the beautiful beaches of Kassandra and admire the incredible blue color of the sea, in combination with the rich green of the mountains. Moreover, on the boats on which there is also a captain, you can enjoy whichever of the organized excursions you wish, crossing opposite to Sithonia in order to have a cup of coffee or a cocktail or even drink ouzo combined with a taste of Greek kitchen beside the sea. Our boats start from 4.5m of length, which you have the chance to rent on your own, without a licence being necessary. You can rent the boat from 1 hour to the whole day. Our biggest boats range from 6.5 m to 10m of length and there is also a captain to guide you to the beaches of magnificent Chalkidiki.
