This beautiful detached villa with a private saltwater pool is located just a 3-minute drive from the beautiful sandy beach of Agios Ioannis with azure blue water. There are several nice beach bars and restaurants along this beach. Villa Dioni is located on an estate along with another villa called Villa Phedra. Each villa has complete privacy, is modernly furnished and offers plenty of luxury. Both villas have a unique panoramic view of the sea and a lovely outdoor kitchen for alfresco dining. There is also a play area for children. You can enjoy unique sunsets from your balcony. The villa is surrounded by olive and orange trees . The friendly owners are happy to welcome you to this little paradise. A stay here is the ideal combination between the peace and quiet of your own holiday home while you can look up the crowds.
LAYOUT VILLA DIONI
On the ground floor there is an open kitchen with dining table for six people and a cozy living room with fireplace and satellite television with Netflix. From the living room you have direct access to the covered terrace outside. The ideal place for breakfast in the morning. On the ground floor there is also a laundry room with washing machine, wardrobe, ironing board, iron and vacuum cleaner. There is also a separate toilet. Upstairs are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, ensuite bathroom with shower, toilet and sink and a balcony with seating for two and a view of the sea. The bathroom has a bath, toilet and sink. Bedroom 2 has two single beds, which can also be made into a double bed by means of a topper. Bedroom 3 has two single beds.
OUTSIDE AT VILLA DIONI
Villa Dioni is set amidst a 1,300 m2 garden full of flowers. Here you will experience plenty of privacy. The spacious private swimming pool (32 m2) has saltwater and is surrounded by sunbeds. There is an outdoor shower with both hot and cold water. Further on under the roof is the outdoor kitchen and barbecue with dining table. There is also a washing machine and refrigerator. Perfect for cooking outside. There is a playground for children and private parking for 1 – 2 cars. The popularity of salt water pools is increasing. A saltwater swimming pool has many advantages over a swimming pool with chlorine such as no itchy skin, no red eyes and no bleaching effect on clothes and hair. The water from a saltwater pool feels soft and is also very clear. We spent 10 days at Villa Phedra and we are absolutely thrilled. Let’s start with our arrival - the drive from Preveza Airport takes about 20 minutes - the location in Lefkada Town is perfect. Just 1 km away, and you are in the town or at the beach. Shopping options, beaches, everything is here and very close. The gate was open, the owner Maria was on-site and warmly welcomed us, showing us around. The room - for us, it was our honeymoon - was beautifully decorated with flowers. In the kitchen, there was honey, olive oil, and local products. Everything was prepared by Maria and was organic. We didn’t find such good olive oil anywhere else in Lefkada! Cleaning was done twice a week - super clean - every wish was anticipated. Maria was practically always available for us and could give us several tips. The house/pool and especially the location - secluded and simply a UNIQUE LOCATION - even though there’s another villa above, you hear and see nothing, which is another plus. You can also quickly reach the good beaches, which are mostly in the west (sandy). Certainly - the price in July is not cheap, but worth every euro. Especially the outdoor kitchen - which we truly used every day. Next to it is the shower, which was also a plus. There are shaded spots when needed and everything from loungers to beach towels is available. (there is also a washing machine) - we will definitely return. TOP and many thanks to Maria and her family, who made our stay something truly special.
