Hotel Description

In Metamorfosi, the air spa of Halkidiki, nestled between forests and olive groves, lies the splendidly designed Olympic Bibis complex. The hotel has recently been renovated, beautifully furnished with very comfortable beds and airy rooms, and since the 2019 season it has been categorized with three stars. Rich and diverse hotel facilities, half-board service, an outdoor pool, a restaurant and bar, children’s playgrounds, and guaranteed parking space are just some of the conveniences that this accommodation offers to its guests.

The hotel is located about 200m from the beach, which is small, narrow, and not very well-maintained in that area, and there is a descent of about ten steps from the road to reach it. Otherwise, the beach in Metamorfosi is long and has different sections, so you can choose according to your preference. The town center, with bakeries, a fish market, a pharmacy, a few cafes, several small supermarkets, taverns, fast food restaurants, and souvenir shops, is about 1km away.

The hotel has 11 apartments and 17 studios for 2-5 people, spread over three floors (there is no lift), as well as two bungalows by the pool.

The double studios have one queen or two joined single beds, while the triple studios have one queen and one single bed or three single beds. The apartments mostly consist of one queen and two single beds in a separate bedroom. One bungalow has a queen bed in the bedroom and two single beds in the other, while the other bungalow has a queen bed in the bedroom and one queen and one single bed in the other.

The accommodation units are air-conditioned, equipped with TV, WiFi internet, and a covered balcony with seating area. The kitchenettes are equipped with a small fridge, sink, and glasses. They also include a stove suitable for heating milk or baby food. Cooking is not allowed in the rooms and kitchenware is not provided. Cleaning is done every day at 9:30 am, and bed linen and towels are changed every third morning.

The courtyard is fenced, large, and beautifully landscaped, full of greenery, flowers, palms, and trees, with lawns, pathways, toys, and a playground for children, table tennis, a basketball court, and a vegetable garden. There are also seating and dining areas and a gazebo. The pool has a children’s section, and next to it is a bar, as well as sun loungers and umbrellas which are provided free of charge to guests. The hotel reception and restaurant are located on the ground floor, and there is a large shaded parking area in front, surrounded by olive trees. The restaurant serves buffet-style breakfast and dinner, while lunch can be provided at an additional cost and is a la carte. Outside the courtyard, in front of the hotel, there is a spacious free parking area.

To reach the accommodation, you can drive from the center of Metamorfosi and turn right into the first street after the Kalivas children’s camp.

The Olympic Bibis Hotel is a good choice for guests seeking relaxation and quality hotel accommodation in a peaceful green environment, and it is particularly suitable for couples and family vacations.

An excellent family hotel. If you are traveling by your own transportation and wish to explore the nearby beaches (the one closest to the hotel is filled with stones and grass).

For accommodation...a maximum of 3 stars. The pool and courtyard somewhat salvage the situation. Otherwise...I do not recommend it.

Overnight environmental tax is not included in prices.
Deposit of 30% is required to confirm the reservation. Remaining balance should be payed first day upon arrival. If cancelled 30 or more days prior to arrival, paid money will be fully refunded. If cancelled 7 or more days prior to arrival, 9% of total reservation will be charged. If cancelled at any time later, paid money is non-refundable. In the case of no-show, 100% of total reservation will be charged. In the case of early departure, 100% of remaining days will be charged. *If a deposit refund is possible, the shipping costs are borne by the guest. The amount of the costs depends on the chosen shipping method and bank. The average time for a refund after cancellation is three weeks.
