Our description

Esperides Sofras Hotel is located on one of the best locations in Thasos, primarily due to the proximity of the capital for beautiful evening walks, shopping, attractions for the children, as well as the proximity of beautiful beaches located nearby Limenas.

This 3-star hotel is located on the left side of the main road between Limenas and Pachis, Skala Rachoni and Skala Prinos, 4km from the new port in Limenas, in the Glykadi area. Before you get to the Esperides Sofras Resort, on the right-hand side you'll pass by Tarsanas beach, hotels Glyfada, Nisteri and Kohylia, as well as Villa Victoria and Papalimani beach. 200-300m after the Papalimani beach, on the left side of the main road, you will see the hotel complex Esperides.

The hotel has its own beach, just across the street. The beach is small, with natural shade, sand on the coast, shallow water, gradual depth and a combination of sand and pebbles in the water. Deck chairs and sun umbrellas are free of charge for the hotel guests. About 300m before the hotel's beach, there is a beautiful Papalimani beach, with a restaurant, deck chairs, sun umbrellas and a concrete mole, and at the same distance after the hotel's beach, tere's a beach in front of Glykadi Hotel also with deck chairs and sun umbrellas.

The hotel complex consists of eight 2-storied buildings, painted in white, with a paved area with a swimming pool, a bar, deck chairs and sun umbrellas. Reception and lobby are on the ground floor of the main building, while a restaurant with a dining room and a large terrace with a sea view are on the first floor.

This hotel has 38 rooms (about 20m2) which can accommodate a maximum of two adults and a child under 13, three junior rooms (30m2) and three apartments (about 40m2).

There are 16 rooms type 2 Bed Room, Standard (2 + 1), 16 2 Bed Room Classic(2 + 1) rooms and six 2 Bed Room Sea View (2 + 1) units.

Units 2 Bed Room, Standard (2 + 1) are located on the ground floor and are equipped with a double bed and, if necessary, an extra bed for a child up to 13 years. These rooms have a view of the courtyard. Rooms 2 Bed Room Classic (2 + 1) are located on the first and second floor and there is a double bed and if necessary, add an extra. Some rooms have a view of the courtyard and some have a partial side sea view. They differ from the units on the ground floor in that they are equipped with newer furniture. 2 Bed Room Sea View (2 + 1) have the same bed arrangement as the previous rooms - one double bed and an extra bed, if needed. They are located on the first and second floor but have a sea view.

This hotel also has two types of units that can accommodate families of four - 4 Bed Room, Junior (2 + 2) and 4 Bed Apartment. Two junior rooms are located on the first floor and one on the ground floor. They are equipped in the same way, with one double bed and, if necessary, two extra beds can be added. These rooms also have sea view. The four-bed apartments in the separate bedroom have a double bed, while the living room has two single beds. One is located on the ground floor, the other on the first floor and the third on the second (last) floor. These apartments have a side sea view.

In all rooms there is air conditioning, TV, mini bar, safe. There is a shower in the bathrooms, except in the four-bed apartments, which are equipped with cabins. Accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis. Breakfast is served from 08:00 to 10:30. Wi-Fi is available in the hotel lobby next to the reception and around the pool near the bar. It is probably possible to catch it in some rooms that are close to the router.

Towels and bed linen are replaced after every 3-4 days and cleaning is perfomed daily

Around all buildings, there are nice lawns, bushes, flowers and palm trees. Everything looks very nice.

The hotel parking is by the main road, in front of and behind the main building. The back parking is accessible by an unpaved road along the side of the yard.

Except the hotel restaurant, restaurant at the Papalimani beach, and other hotels and villas - there are no tourist facilities in this area. The nearest stores, bakeries, pastry shops, pharmacies, night clubs, etc. are in Limenas (4km) or in Skala Rachoni (7km).

Esperides Sofras Resort is an excellent choice because it's only 2-3 minutes by car from the center of Limenas and all the facilities in it (promenade, amusment park, restaurants and shops), and it's also a great base for touring the island, because of the vicinity to the most beautiful beaches such as Marble (6km), Makryammos (2km), La Scala (4km), Pachis (8km).
