One of the most popular accommodations for LimenasEsperides Sofras Hotel is situated in one of the best locations in Thassos, primarily due to its proximity to the main town for delightful evening strolls, shopping, entertainment for children, and the closeness to a large number of beautiful beaches in the surrounding areas Limenas.
This three-star hotel is located on the left side of the main road connecting Limenas with Pachis, Skala Rachoni, and Skala Prinos, 4km away from the new port in Limenas, in the area of Glikadi. Before reaching Esperides Sofras Resort, you will pass by the beach of Tarsanas on the right side, hotels Glyfada, Nisteri, and Kohylia, as well as villa Victoria and the beach of Papalimani. 200-300m after Papalimani beach, on the left side of the main road, you will see the hotel complex of Esperides.
The hotel also has its own beach, separated from it only by the main road, which is not busy in that area. The beach is small, with natural shade, sandy shore, shallow water, gradual depth, and a combination of sand and pebbles in the water. Sunbeds and umbrellas are complimentary for hotel guests. Two hundred to three hundred meters before the hotel's beach is the beautiful Papalimani beach, with a restaurant in the background, sunbeds, umbrellas, and a concrete pier, and at the same distance after the hotel is the beach of Glykadi hotel, also with sunbeds and umbrellas.
The hotel complex consists of eight two-story buildings, painted in white, between which there is a paved area with a pool, bar, sunbeds, and umbrellas. The ground floor of the main building houses the reception and lobby, while the restaurant with a dining area and a large terrace overlooking the sea is located on the upper floor.
This hotel has 50 units - 43 rooms (20m2), three junior suites (30m2), three executive apartments (40m2) and one apartment with a mountain view (30m2).
There are 16 standard rooms, 16 classic rooms and 11 rooms with sea view.
Standard rooms are located on the ground floor and are equipped with a double bed and a sofa. They can accommodate two adults and one child, and there is the possibility of a second child up to the age of 3, who would sleep on the existing bed or in a baby cot, which is provided free of charge. These rooms have a garden view.
Classic rooms are located on the first and second floor and have a double bed and a sofa. The capacity of these units is the same as standard rooms. Some rooms have a garden view and some have a partial side sea view. They differ from the units on the ground floor in that they are equipped with newer furniture.
Rooms with a sea view have the same bed arrangement and accommodation capacity as the previous rooms - one double bed and a sofa for two adults and two children (one child up to 3 years old). They are located on the first and second floor and have a view of the sea.
This hotel also has units that can accommodate families of four with older children - junior suites and executive suites.
Two junior suites are located on the first floor and one on the ground floor. They are equipped in the same way, with one double bed and two additional beds can be inserted if necessary. These rooms also have a view of the sea.
Executive apartments have a double bed in a separate bedroom, while there are two single beds in the living room. One is on the ground floor, the second on the first floor and the third on the second (last) floor. These apartments have a side view of the sea.
There is also a quadruple apartment with a view of the mountains, located on the first floor. There is a double bed in the bedroom, while there are two single beds in the living room. It does not have a kitchen in its composition, like the other units in this accommodation.
All rooms have air conditioning, TV, mini bar, safe. There is a shower in the bathrooms, except in the four-bed apartments, which are equipped with shower cabins. Accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis (buffet style). Breakfast is served from 8:00-10:30. Wireless internet is available in the hotel lobby by the reception and around the pool near the bar, and the signal may be weaker in the rooms.
Towels and bed linen are changed every three days, and cleaning is done daily.
The area around all buildings is well-maintained, with manicured lawns, trimmed bushes, flowers, and palm trees. Everything looks very beautiful.
The hotel parking is located by the main road, in front and behind the main building. Access to the parking at the rear of the building is via a dirt road along the side of the courtyard.
Apart from the hotel restaurant, the restaurant near Papalimani beach, and other hotels and villas, there are no tourist facilities in the vicinity. The nearest supermarkets, bakeries, pastry shops, pharmacies, clubs, etc., are in Limenas (4km) or in Skala Rachoni (7km).
Esperides Sofras Resort is an excellent choice, as it is only a 2-3 minute drive to the center of Limenas and all its amenities (promenade, amusement park, restaurants, shops), and it is also a great base for exploring the island, being very close to the most beautiful beaches like Marble (6km), Makryammos (2km), La Scala (4km), Pachis (8km).
