The house is beautifully designed, showcasing an older Mediterranean style. Everything is clearly visible in the video and photographs. It is quite spacious, featuring two fantastic terraces with a breathtaking view of the sea. The kitchen is excellently equipped, with two combo refrigerators, an oven, a microwave, and plenty of dishes and utensils. Hot water for showering comes quickly in the lower bathroom, while the upper bathroom may have minor issues. The lower bathroom can sometimes have an unpleasant odor (likely due to the pipes), but this is not always the case and is generally not alarming. The beds are surprisingly comfortable, and the air conditioning works perfectly, included in the price. Just below the house is Castelo Camping, where we frequently visited. There are concrete steps leading to the accommodation, but they are quite poor and difficult to walk on (at the end of the steps, there are some rods sticking out of the ground, which can easily be overlooked, so be cautious!). We used the main entrance to Castelo and headed to the beach, which is nicely arranged and has a great bar. The condition for using the sunbeds is a consumption of 25 euros - a double espresso costs 4.80, and juices are around 5-6 euros. The food is EXCELLENT (August 2024). On the first day, we walked, but from the second day we drove because returning from the beach can be challenging - there is a price for the beautiful view of the sea - the yard is terraced and quite steep. There is also a part of the beach without sunbeds, where you can set up your things, which is really nice. The beach is sandy, but there is a stretch with stones right at the water's edge, which can be a bit annoying, but the stones stop after about 2-3 meters. The shallow area is long, the buoys are about 30 meters away, and even there, a person 180 cm tall can touch the bottom, making it truly great for children. There are generally no waves, or they are very small. Regarding shopping, the best option is the market at the entrance to Neos Marmaras (turn right off the main road, exactly 2.8 km from the accommodation) - I forgot the name, but it starts with T and has a green logo. It is EXCELLENTLY stocked, prices are reasonable (except for ice cream), and it is open on weekends. Now, a bit about the downsides. First, the main road runs in front of the yard, and you have to cross it to get to the beach. We naively hoped it wouldn't be too busy, but we were mistaken - this is the main (and only?) road on this side of Sithonia and it is VERY busy. Of course, it can be crossed, but the house is situated in a somewhat inconvenient spot - on a curve and not very visible. The second issue, which is literally catastrophic, is the internet. We are used to poor wi-fi in Greek apartments, if it even exists. In this villa, for quite a bit of money, the internet is nearly unusable. The speed is an astonishing 2 mb/s, and the wi-fi range is very questionable, even though the house is fantastically designed, and the modem is positioned in the middle of the living room. So, if you want to do anything online or stream (as we attempted with the Olympic games), forget it. The third issue - security. Although the location is really great, and the house is quite isolated, it is concerning when everyone needs to go to the beach, and we leave money and other valuables in a house that simply cannot be locked. Yes, the entrance door and the kitchen door (which also has two exits) can be locked, but the doors on the terrace and windows in some rooms simply cannot be closed. They can be shut, but the closing mechanism does not go all the way, and they can always be opened from the outside. We did not have any unpleasant experiences, although we had to be creative in hiding things around the house when we were all at the beach. On the last day of our stay, we noticed that in the fencing wire surrounding the entire yard, on the upper side, near the boiler, there is a hole through which an adult person could pass. Whether someone has passed through, and if so, when, I have no idea, I am just relaying what we saw. These are some things to keep in mind. All in all, we had a truly lovely experience, which we wish for everyone choosing this accommodation.

Booking and cancellation terms

Deposit of 30% is required to confirm the reservation. Remaining balance should be payed first day upon arrival. If cancelled 21 or more days prior to arrival, paid money will be fully refunded. If cancelled at any time later, paid money is non-refundable. In the case of early departure, 50% of remaining days will be charged.
