The owner is quite an odd man. The internet is terrible. During the eight nights we stayed, they did not clean or change the bedding even once.

Location is a key advantage, while the landlord poses a potential drawback.

The advantage is that the accommodation is located in a good area, in a quiet part. Additionally, it has its own beach (On the first day, we were unaware that the beach was private and exclusively for guests of the apartments. As soon as we were informed, we told our friends to leave the beach, and they did not return). This concludes the advantages. The owner was very unfriendly and bothersome. I say bothersome because he constantly followed us and reprimanded us. He told us not to bring in sand and to be careful that our children did not wet the mattress in the room. It was dreadful. It felt like we were in a kindergarten. Our room had a double bed and another bed. The second bed was so uncomfortable that one could hardly sit on it, let alone sleep. The air conditioner was faulty. It kept tripping the circuit breaker when the stove was turned on. To top it all off, the owner did not respond, except when we reported the stove; he came and, without our permission, in the middle of our vacation, took pictures of the stove where we were cooking. It seemed he wanted to show that the stove was not clean. Utter rudeness. The towels and bed linens were not changed at all during the 10 days. Essentially, the price is too high for what is offered. We also had a bad experience with the owner.

I recommend accommodation at Porto Almira due to its proximity to the beach, which can only be used by the guests of the house. The beach is spacious, and sun umbrellas and loungers are provided. Our belongings remained on the loungers all day, untouched by anyone. The apartments are decent, with renovated and spacious bathrooms compared to most accommodations in Greece. The same goes for the kitchen, which offers ample space. The refrigerators are newer, large, and equipped with a big freezer compartment. The owner is friendly and always ready to assist. The only downside is the limited space in the yard for any activities with children, but this is compensated by the wide and beautiful sandy beach without crowds.

An excellent location, practically free of traffic. The hosts are very kind. The only complaint is that there is a charge of 20 euros for a one-year-old baby for the night. Furthermore, no one asked us if we needed a crib; instead, the response was that the baby would count as the fifth person in the accommodation!

We stayed at Porto Almira apartments from August 28 to September 9, 2023. The three-person apartment on the first floor offers a stunning view of the sea. The apartment is clean, tidy, and spacious, equipped with a well-appointed kitchen and a large terrace. Parking is provided in the courtyard. The apartments feature a private beach with sun loungers and umbrellas. It takes about ten minutes to reach the center of Nikiti with a leisurely stroll. The owner, Trandafil, is an exceptional man—kind and meticulous, all praise! We would definitely return in the coming years!

A tranquil accommodation free from crowds on the beach, featuring renovated bathrooms with shower cabins and large refrigerators in the ground-floor apartments. The hosts are friendly. The entry into the sea is gradual, though rocky for about one to two meters, followed by sand.

Everything was wonderful. The four-person apartment was exactly what we expected. Two separate rooms, a new, clean, and spacious bathroom. A ground-floor terrace with a view of the sea. Parking in the courtyard. The host was kind. The beach was exclusively for guests. Peace, tranquility, a true vacation. The accommodation is good. Compared to the photos and description, it is better since the bathroom has been renovated and features a shower cabin. Additionally, the refrigerator is new, a combination model with a separate freezer. The stove is also new. The apartment we stayed in has pull-out chairs that serve as extra beds. They are suitable for children or for smaller adults. For our family, the unpaved and infrequent road was a positive aspect due to the children, as they had complete freedom. It is peaceful, beautiful for relaxation. At night, you can unwind because the windows have screens and grilles, allowing you to enjoy the sounds of the waves and the breeze coming through the open windows. Everything was ideal for a wonderful vacation except for the owner of the accommodation. The owner constantly monitors everything. Besides his rule of no guests in the accommodation (which I respect as his decision), he does not allow guests on the beach even though it is public. They even intercepted us and questioned where we were taking the beach umbrella since we carried it to the beach 50 meters to the left (outrageous!). We had a severe conflict, which ruined our vacation and greatly disturbed us.

The accommodation is situated right next to the beach, in an area of Nikiti that features many smaller beaches. The surroundings are quite peaceful, and the street in front of the apartment is unpaved, meaning that cars do not speed by. The accommodation is clean and spacious. The bathroom was renovated last year, according to the owner. The refrigerator is new, which can be a rarity in Greece, and there is a television with Greek channels. The air conditioning is included in the price, but we did not turn it on as it was pleasant at night. The kitchen is clean and functional. We traveled with a 13-month-old baby, and the terrace is not fenced on the ground floor, which posed a problem that we solved by using deck chairs as a barrier. The yard does not have a gate, which can be an issue if someone is bringing a small child or a dog. We stayed for 9 nights, and our bedding was not changed even once, which is a downside. The nearest shop is quite far, so it was necessary to start the car daily to go to Masoutis or Lidl. The owner is a friendly person, always ready to help. His mother, an older woman, also lives nearby and is available if anything is needed. A lovely woman. The beach in front is small and beautiful, but the entrance consists of small stones followed by larger ones, and after a few meters, you reach the wonderful sand. For non-swimmers, it can be a bit tricky, so bring water shoes. The accommodation provides all guests with sun loungers and umbrellas. Regarding the internet, the owner has installed a repeater in each apartment, so the signal was good, but it occasionally slows down.

A tranquil, secluded spot, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, right on the beach, perfect for a true getaway. The owners are kind and unobtrusive.

The prices are exceptionally high. The hosts are very courteous. The apartment is equipped to a standard level. There is no television in the apartment. Guests are responsible for cleaning themselves. Towels are changed every 7 days.

An overpriced apartment considering what it offers. The apartment is located next to the beach, has parking, air conditioning, and that’s where the story ends. -The apartment is situated on an unpaved part of the road, full of dust. -It does not have a mosquito net on the entrance door. -During our stay, towels and bed linens were never changed. -When paying, the landlord owed me change. He probably avoided us because of that. We never received the change. -The internet is practically non-existent. -IT DOES NOT HAVE A TV, despite the description stating otherwise. -The main bulb in the kitchen burnt out, and no one replaced it. -We requested a four-bed apartment, but received a two-bed one + a pull-out couch.

I stayed in this accommodation with my family at the end of July 2018. The ground floor apartment with a view of the sea is spacious, featuring a bedroom with a double bed (left side) and in the kitchen, there are two more comfortable beds. A small refrigerator with an ice maker, a stove with two burners (which work great), mosquito nets, and a terrace with nice chairs (not plastic), air conditioning, a small but sufficient bathroom (without a cabin). The kitchen is fully equipped for 4 people, with 4 of everything (forks, spoons, knives, shallow and deep plates), bowls for salad, a frying pan, large and small pots, and everything else is just enough for a family of 4. The beach is sandy, with 6 umbrellas and 12 sunbeds, free for each umbrella and sunbed for every apartment. The beach is shared with neighboring cottages, but there is no crowd. The landlord is accommodating, readily providing his Viber number, and if anything is needed, he is there (he changed 2 light bulbs for us). The entrance to the sea is quite rocky (about 2 meters of large stones) and then sand, with a small passage to the right with smaller pebbles. We arrived after heavy rain (it rained on Monday and we arrived on Wednesday), so the rain brought murkiness to the sea, and we who were naively in Sitonia and expected clear water were not exactly satisfied; the color of the sea resembled the Danube, and it was not clear for the first 10 days, only in the last 2 days was it satisfactory, but that did not bother us as it was a 10-minute drive to Neos, with about 5-6 phenomenal beaches we visited. For the first 10 days, we had Australians as neighbors, which was exceptionally peaceful and quiet, but then German tourists arrived in the apartments to the left and right of us (who know each other), with small children, making the terrace in front of our apartment a public space, and nothing of privacy. Advantages: ~ 10 minutes walk from the port, peace and quiet ~ beautiful beach and sea but in comparison to other beaches in Sitonia, it doesn't quite match, although families used this beach daily, it didn't suit us. ~ accommodating landlord ~ parking ~ Wi-Fi was decent, not bad ~ no TV ~ excellent terrace ~ prohibition of guests making noise and occupying beach space :-) as if the beach is for people to push to get on it Disadvantages: ~ ground floor apartment can become public space (see above) ~ no yard for play ~ considering we were there for 12 days, and the bedding is changed every 5 days, our landlord managed to change it for us 2 times in 4 days, deciding to be frugal, and it was only changed once in 6 days, otherwise, he counts nights, not days, meaning bedding is changed when you sleep 5 times ~ although it states that it is not cleaned, I think at least every 5 days someone should be paid to clean the apartment (I was with a colleague who was also in Nikiti and where cleaning is done every 3 days for about the same price) ~ if it rains heavily, the sea becomes murky ~ they do not change the bedding for you, but deliver a basket with clean ones and you change it yourself. ~ parking is available inside the yard for 4 cars, and there are 6 apartments, so it may happen that you park on the street in front. ~ toilet paper was provided on the first day, after that we bought our own ~ garbage bags were given a few, then we asked the landlord for 2 more 4 days before the end :)

An excellent accommodation in a peaceful location, highly recommended.

The house was situated very close to the sea, making it ideal for a family with young children. Inside, it was quite clean, although we would have appreciated some additional dishes in the kitchen. I believe the only critical issue was the shower, which lacked any form of protection. The bathroom tends to flood after every wash, creating a rather uncomfortable experience. Parking in the inner courtyard is very convenient. As for the sea, the water is not as green as in other parts of Chalkidiki, perhaps due to the storms that occurred the previous week. The owners have always been kind and helpful.

The four-person apartment on the ground floor is, as the pictures show, clean and spacious, although the mattresses are not particularly comfortable (I’m not complaining, just speaking from the perspective of someone with a problematic spine). From the terrace, there is a view of the beach, which is practically private, meaning it is used only by the guests of the guesthouse, which I consider the greatest advantage, especially if you are traveling with children, as the bathroom, food, water, and toys are only 20 meters from the sea, and there is no crowd or noise on the beach. Each apartment has its own sunshade and two loungers. The owner is very accommodating, and the walk to the center of Nikiti is pleasant, offering plenty of amenities and good food, unlike the beach itself. The stones in the water are indeed a problem; entering the water can be quite painful, so I recommend wearing swimming shoes. However, that part with sharp stones is not too wide, perhaps about half a meter, while the rest is sandy. As a downside, I mention the extremely weak Wi-Fi signal; the router is upstairs, so in the ground floor, you can only 'catch' it in one spot on the terrace, and even then with variable quality. In the kitchen, there is everything you need - a large pot and a colander for pasta, a good non-stick frying pan, a coffee pot... The price-quality ratio is probably much more realistic in September than in the season when we were there, but we still liked it.

Everything is as described. The four-person apartment is spacious, clean, and has everything one could need. The owner is extremely kind and cooperative; we received everything we requested later on. He speaks English and German, making communication easy. The house is located in a secluded part of Nikiti, ensuring peace and quiet.

We stayed in a three-person apartment on the upper floor and were very satisfied with the accommodation. The description on the website is extremely detailed and accurate, so what is described is precisely what you receive. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped. You take care of the cleanliness yourself, and you receive clean linens and towels every 4 or 5 days of your stay. The owner is friendly and pleasant, while his sister is dynamic and always available for guests. I should mention that this apartment does not have a TV, which was not important to us, but it might be for someone else. The beach is decent, and it mainly hosts guests from this and the neighboring accommodation. I would also add that the center of Nikiti is about a 15-minute leisurely walk along the sea. The terraces on the first floor are designed to provide privacy. This accommodation was completely suitable for us. I also noticed that it was suitable for families with small children, as the beach with provided umbrellas and sun loungers is just a step away from the apartment. Overall, this accommodation is an excellent choice for those who prefer a quieter and more passive vacation. Porto Almira offers a good balance of price and quality.
