The accommodation offers beautifully decorated and spacious apartments, modernly equipped and comfortable for longer stays. The proximity to the beach allows guests to enjoy the sea every day without the need for transportation, while the peaceful surroundings contribute to a complete sense of tranquility and rest. The property is pleasantly secluded—just enough to escape everyday noise and stress—perfect for true lovers of nature and peace. Vourvourou is not a typical Greek coastal village; it has no promenade or crowds, which makes it special and ideal for those seeking a calm and restful atmosphere. Nearby is the famous Karidi Beach, known for its turquoise, crystal-clear water, and nature lovers can also enjoy Mount Itamos, which rises above the area and offers excellent hiking trails.
Filippos Golden Resort is located about 150 m from the beach and about 650 m from the nearest supermarket and tavern.
It consists of two four-bed apartments on the lower ground floor, each with one double bed in the bedroom and two single beds in the kitchen area. In the same yard, there is also a small house for two adults and one child up to 12 years old, featuring one double bed in the bedroom and one single bed in the kitchen area.
If needed, the owner can provide a baby cot. Cleaning is done daily, while towels and bed linen are changed after three nights.
This air-conditioned accommodation offers free WiFi, a TV, and a fully equipped kitchen — with two hotplates and a small oven in the triple units or four hotplates and a large oven in the four-bed apartments — as well as a large refrigerator with a freezer compartment.
In the courtyard, there is private parking, a covered seating area with a table and chairs, and a small playground for children.
The owners also run a boat rental agency that organizes excursions by boat to Ammouliani, Mount Athos, and around Sithonia. For more information, you can contact the owners directly on-site.

The apartment is spacious and fully matches the photos. What you cannot see in the pictures is a small wardrobe/storage area with one moving hanger and two smaller shelves that are a little hard to reach, so we ended up keeping most of our things in our suitcases. I’m mentioning this only if that detail matters to someone—we found it no problem at all. The apartment is spotless and maintained daily. Bed linen and towels are changed every two to three days. The staff are exceptionally kind, warm, and always ready to help. The only drawback for me is that, before the trip, I didn’t read the reviews about Vurvuru carefully enough. The place is small, but it didn’t bother us. There are a few restaurants and two well-stocked supermarkets. What didn’t suit us, though, was the sea right in the town. The beach near the accommodation is perfectly decent, but the water is very shallow, with brownish sand at the bottom, so it feels more like a lake than the sea. The shallow area is truly long, and we got the impression that this kind of shoreline runs along the entire Vurvuru. I’m sure it will suit some people—especially families with small children—but it didn’t work for us. If you prefer deeper, more turquoise water and you don’t plan to use a car every day to visit other beaches, Vurvuru is probably not the right choice. In the end, we found our own little slice of paradise, but we had to get there by car.
