Our description

Fedra Hotel is located in a fantastic location, right on the Golden Beach, above which beautiful mountain rises, overgrown with pine trees. The hotel gives you an impeccably comfortable stay in nice and clean rooms.

The capital city of Limenas is only 15 kilometers away, so you can jump there whenever you want to have fun. A little bigger place, Skala Potamia, is less than 3km away. The famous village of Panagia is also very close (2-3 minutes drive).

The hotel is located right on the beach. It is sandy and organized, with a long shallow and is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful on the island. Along the beach there is a beautiful promenade with countless small shops, cafes and tavernas.

The hotel has 11 rooms that can be used as double, triple and quadruple.

The rooms are simply designed, medium in size (till 20m2), furnished with quality furniture, double or single beds, with balconies looking directly at the sea or yard, the street and the mountain. Both views are beautiful. The quadruple rooms have two joined single beds and the other two beds can be pulled out and make a bunk bed.

All rooms are air-conditioned, have TV, wireless internet, safety deposit box, refrigerator, electric kettle, iron, bathroom and balcony.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at Hotel Enavlion which is 2-3 minutes distance from Fedra Hotel in a full American type Buffet. For breakfast there is a choice among at least 30 delicacies. Breakfast is served from 8:00-11:00. Lunch and dinner include first course, salad, main meal and desert.

Rooms are cleaned daily and towels and bed sheets are changed every three days.

At the Fedra Hotel, in the yard by the sea, on the promenade, there is the Fedra Restaurant, where you can enjoy the specialties of traditional Greek and European cuisine.

In front of the hotel there is a spacious parking lot in the shade.

Just across the street is a mini-market with all the necessary things.

You could reach the island of Thassos by flying to Athens, to Thessaloníki or Alexandroupoli firstly and then by flying or driving to the airport of Kavala, Megas Alexandros – Alexander the Great airport. Then you pick up a taxi to the port of Keramoti – 5 to 10 minutes distance- and then by ferry boat to Thassos town (Limenas). Notice also that during the summer season there are direct charter flights to Kavala Airport. Driving distance from Athens to Keramoti is 700km, from Thessaloníki to Keramoti is 220km and from Alexandroupoli to Keramoti is 151km. During summer there are scheduled ferries every half an hour (until 9pm or 10pm depending) . You do not have to prearrange tickets, because you can buy them at the port. When you reach the port of Thassos town (Limenas) you can pick up a taxi or a bus to Golden Beach, where the Hotel Fedra is established. There are also charters flying directly to Kavala.
