Accommodation description
Mirtia Studios is the accommodation in the village of Minia, near Svoronata and the airport, about 300m from the beach. It offers studios for 2-3 people, quadruple apartments, a beautifully landscaped yard, free wireless internet and private parking.
The accommodation is located 6km from Argostoli, on a family estate (101a) strewn with olives, palms, vine and other trees.
10 studios for three persons have one double and a single bed, i.e. one double and an auxiliary bed.
Two apartments have one double bed in the bedroom and two single beds in the kitchen area. Both rooms are air-conditioned and have a TV, and the kitchen is equipped with a large fridge, oven and washing machine.
There’s also one duplex apartment with one double and two single beds and a bathroom in each bedroom.
All accommodation units are characterized by a high level of cleanliness and have a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and terrace or porch with a seating area and a sea view. Bed linen and towels are replaced every three days, while cleaning is performed on a daily basis.
Apart from ample parking, the yard has a barbecue, deck chairs and outdoor furniture. It’s shaded and ideal for socializing, and the large lawn for running and playing, along with toys, will make the youngest ones very happy.

The overall impression is exceptionally positive. The apartment is clean and tidy (linens and towels are changed every three days), and we had everything we needed. The yard is very spacious, with plenty of parking space, as well as a barbecue area that was available to all guests. The host was extremely kind and significantly assisted us with suggestions about various activities, restaurants, and places to visit in Kefalonia.

We have just returned from this accommodation. The courtyard is located right next to the runway, so we listened to the roar of airplanes every day from 8 in the morning until midnight. The studio we stayed in was extremely small and definitely not meant for three people. It was sparsely equipped, the furniture was very old, and not a single drawer was functional. Every time I tried to open a drawer, the handle would stay in my hand, or the drawer would either fall out or could not be opened at all. We literally had half of a small wardrobe at our disposal. The kitchen was furnished with ancient appliances, which is a miracle that they even work. In the bathroom, there were not enough towel holders, making it difficult to maintain hygiene. The mosquito net in the bathroom was full of holes, allowing mosquitoes to enter constantly. The nearby beach (the only one accessible without a car) is dreadful for the simple reason that airplanes fly over it continuously, and it smells of kerosene. Kerosene (or diesel) is stained in the sand on the beach, making it black, so it is truly a shame that this accommodation is advertised for families with children.
