Accommodation description

Diamond Hotel is located at the entrance to Limenaria, up on the hill so the sea view is really fantastic. Hotel is close to the beach and it offers bed and breakfast or half board. There is also a swimming pool. Rooms are very nice.

It is located 2km before the town center. The closest beach is less than one hundred meters away. The closest beach is a long Limenaria city beach, partly rocky and partly sandy. It is 2km long, so you’ll find the appropriate place on it, a bit further or closer from the hotel. Trypiti beach is only 1km away.

The hotel has 21 rooms. Rooms are double or triple and all of them are on the upper floor. Double rooms (30m2) contain two single beds and triple rooms (35m2) have three single beds. All rooms have a refrigerator, air conditioning, TV, coffee machine, water kettle, bathroom and terrace.

Diamond Hotel is a new building, furniture is new and the rooms are neat, nice and clean. It was built in 2009. Rooms have spacious terraces, with a view either to the sea or to the hills and olive groves, offer a nice view and a real vacation for the eyes. Six triple bed and seven double rooms have sea view and other six triple and two double rooms have garden and mountain view.

You can use beach chairs from the villa Gianikis if you order drinks. If you want, you can set up your towel and umbrella. The beach is sandy and not crowded. The hotel offers a really nice view of the countryside, olive groves, the sea and panoramic view of the Limenaria.

The hotel is a family business. In the restaurant, you can pay extra for dinner or sometimes just to try something from the local specialities, Greek cuisine. The dinner includes a main dish, salad and dessert. You can decide between 10 to 15 different dishes.

The internet cafe in the lobby is available to the Diamond Hotel guests. Internet in the cafe is charged per hour. At the pool and communal spaces, you can use free WiFi internet connection. The hotel has a small fitness center, pool table, pinball machines, etc.

Regular replacement of towels and bed linen is provided (every three days), while the cleaning is performed daily. You can leave your clothes at the reception for cleaning. For this service, there’s an additional charge.

In the concrete courtyard, there’s a swimming pool with jacuzzi.

Hotel has a private parking.

Arriving from the direction of Prinos, the hotel is on the left side of the road, just below the gold factory Iris Gold.

If you want quality accommodation outside of the city and traffic, town and all that it offers available within only two minutes drive, then the Diamond is an excellent choice for you.

This is the first time in Greece that we have faced a situation where we reserved a triple room for three adults and received a double room (with a single bed that we were all supposed to sleep in). The receptionist, whom we suspected to be the owner of the hotel, had a very unpleasant attitude and calmly told us that he could either refund our money or place an extra bed in that room. We told him it was ridiculous to offer a refund after we had traveled such a long distance. We lost several precious hours of our vacation trying to resolve this issue, and after many discussions with both them and the agency, we agreed to stay in that room with an extra bed, and they refunded us a nominal amount. I will reiterate that we have encountered similar situations during our vacations in Greece, where they did not have the room we reserved, but we always received something superior. I am not the type of person who writes reviews, but here I felt the need to draw attention to those who may experience such things that it is not acceptable to accept this behavior. I had read the opinions of other tourists who had similar experiences, but it should not be tolerated, as this is how such attitudes come to be. The first step is to discuss politely with the hotel and then call the agency.

Dear Nikana, Tasos is our favorite island in Greece. In addition to the beautiful wild beaches and interesting taverns, we have now discovered the excellent Diamond hotel, which truly impressed us with its outstanding offerings. We enjoyed a spacious room and a lovely pool that we used both in the morning and in the evening. Cleanliness was maintained not only in our room but throughout all areas we used. Towels and linens were changed regularly, and the cleaning staff were exceptional. We have no complaints and recommend it to anyone who is undecided between a couple of options for accommodation. Not to forget, the hotel's location is fantastic. Thank you for the recommendations for this hotel.

Booking and cancellation terms

Deposit of 30% is required to confirm the reservation. Remaining balance should be payed first day upon arrival. If cancelled 14 or more days prior to arrival, paid money will be fully refunded. If cancelled at any time later, paid money is non-refundable. In the case of early departure, 50% of remaining days will be charged.
