The apartment is too small for a family of four. There are not enough chairs or dining utensils, so we couldn’t eat together. We barely had internet access and were forced to purchase it. The apartment was clean upon our arrival, the furniture has been recently replaced, making it decent, and the beds are comfortable. The shower cabin is too small and has a curtain. For five days, the cleaner only took out the trash; the place wasn’t cleaned even when she brought new towels and changed the bedding on the fifth day. I complained to the owner about the internet and cleaning; she apologized for the internet, and when I pointed out that they hadn’t fulfilled the agreements from the contract, she reduced the price of the apartment by a whole 30 euros. After my complaint, the apartment was somewhat cleaned. The yard is nicely landscaped and there is parking available. The beach with natural shade is quite close, which is the only advantage of this accommodation.

Everything was fine. The owner and the caretaker are kind. The location is good. The beach is close, just a 3-minute walk. The equipment is satisfactory. The only downside is that a family of four cannot eat at the same time because the table is small. We might consider returning.

The four-person apartment we stayed in is excellent. The beds and mattresses are comfortable, and the linens and towels were changed twice along with the cleaning of the apartment. The kitchenette is small but sufficient for light cooking. In my opinion, a grill is missing in the kitchen. The bathroom is spacious and there was always hot water. The terrace and garden are arranged like a fairy tale, the grass is neatly trimmed, and the trees provide lovely shade. A kind and diligent woman takes care of maintaining the hygiene of the apartment and the garden.

I wholeheartedly recommend the accommodation and the staff. The location is excellent, just a three-minute walk from Pachis beach. This lodging is particularly well-suited for families with children, as it features a large enclosed yard and a playroom.

A very charming accommodation on Pahis beach, which is perfect for families with small children due to its natural shade and long shallow area. The accommodation is exceptionally clean, features a spacious yard, rooms are regularly cleaned, and linens are changed every three days. The staff is extremely friendly.

The yard is well-maintained, but it offers little privacy and there is barely enough space for a dining table in front of the apartment. When we requested an additional chair and glass, since we received three despite there being four of us, we did not find understanding from the hostess. She sent a woman who works for her, but she came angrily and without a word. Prior to that, after a long journey, we had to shower in completely cold water. When we inquired why there was no hot water, we were scolded for arriving late. A rarely rude woman. For the first time in 12 years of vacationing in Greece, we encountered such (un)hospitality. We did not receive an apology for any oversight on the part of the hostess, only discomfort. Part of the way to the beach is along a narrow dirt path right next to the road. It is a straight path and cars often speed by, which is not convenient, especially for small children.

Since we were with small children, we didn’t need to go anywhere else. The accommodation is relatively new, clean, and well-equipped, with linen replacement twice in ten days, always having hot water, and air conditioning. Most guests were from Serbia with children of similar ages to our daughter, allowing them to enjoy themselves all day long. The yard is spacious, beautifully arranged, with enough parking spaces and a terrace for sitting in the shade. The beautiful Pachis beach is just 200 meters away on foot, and Glyfoneri beach is a two-minute drive... perfect for a vacation with small children. The only complaints are the noise from the main road (which you get used to after a few days) and the lack of a pathway through the yard to the beach, requiring you to exit onto the main road. All praises go to the owner, Sofi, a pleasant and communicative lady, always ready to assist with anything you may need. The barbecue and summer house are not in use, currently serving as "supports" for solar panels. The Latsouris market is a few kilometers away (closed on Sundays), and the VanilaCinnamonCoffee bakery is a bit closer. All in all, a wonderful vacation in a beautiful place!

We spent two weeks in an apartment on Pahis Beach. The accommodation is new, clean, and well-maintained, with exceptionally comfortable beds. The yard is spacious and perfect for children. During our stay, most guests were from Serbia, providing the children with playmates. The owner, Stefi, is very kind, unobtrusive, and always available for assistance. The only downside of the accommodation is its proximity to the main road, which results in noise even at night (although our apartment faced the yard). After a few days, we got used to it, but I wouldn’t characterize this accommodation as a quiet location. Nevertheless, we would definitely return to Sapfo's house, as the positive impressions outweigh the negatives.

Sapfo's House is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful apartment complexes I have ever stayed in. The apartments are exceptionally clean, and the garden, access, olive trees, cleanliness, and amenities are all of excellent quality. The owner is very kind and always willing to assist. The apartments are located very close to one of the most beautiful beaches on Thassos, making them highly suitable for families with children.

A beautiful house. Comfortable, clean, and furnished in a way that makes you feel at home. Aside from your personal belongings, you literally need nothing, as everything you can imagine is available in this house. It is ideal for families with small children due to the spacious living room, separate sleeping area on the upper floor, and the lovely grassy yard. The landlady is a phenomenal young and kind person. She speaks English perfectly and is available to guests for anything they may need. The internet works excellently, which is not a common occurrence in Greece. Every room in the house has air conditioning. All in all, a wonderful experience, the perfect place for a getaway, and I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Everything was perfect, clean, tidy, new... a spacious yard, close to a beautiful beach, a solid ten... Particularly great for families with small children, as it features a large grassy yard and a mini playground. All praises. We visited Saphos from August 20 to 24, 2019. Here are a few impressions. Our three families stayed in four-person apartments on the ground floor (as seen in the pictures from image no. 12). They are beautiful, everything matches the pictures and the description in the text. Our impression is that they are nicer than those on the upper floor because they have more shade, both due to the orientation of the villa and because they are a few steps below the level of the lawn. Hygiene is at a high level, the yard is tidy with a well-equipped and covered grill, greenery, and enough parking spaces for all guests (almost all spots are in the shade of olive trees). There are several swings, climbing structures for children, and even a table for table tennis, although of rather poor quality. The biggest and almost only downside: POOR INTERNET, sufficient for browsing, but very bad for sending photos and Viber communication. The LARGE (two-story) market (behind Skala Rachoni) is about 3 km away, and there is no smaller one in the vicinity, so shopping must be done by car. On the other side, towards Limenas, at the very entrance to the city, there is a large MASUTIS on the right side, about 8 km away. The Pachis beach with natural shade is about a hundred meters away from the accommodation via a path. All praises for communication with the owner. If you rent this accommodation, take a walk to the GLYFONERI beach, which is accessible via an asphalt path (about 200 m) or over the rocks if you are in good shape. The view of it (which is entirely in natural shade) is BEAUTIFUL. Small and adorable. If you enjoy well-kept fancy beaches, take a 5 km trip to LA SKALA, towards Limenas. It is beautifully arranged, with flowers, trees, canopies, pleasant music, water sports, perfect for photographs. All in all, Saphos comes highly recommended for those for whom the internet is not crucial.

A very solid accommodation. Overpriced when it comes to the price, like most accommodations by the sea. Good for families. An excellent summer retreat. Lacks details in the rooms, especially in the kitchen.

We stayed at the Sapfo apartment from August 3rd to August 13th, 2019, with three small children. The property boasts a beautiful garden filled with olive trees, peaches, apples, pears, plums, pomegranates, and grapes, along with a fenced children's playground and ample parking. The landlady is a pleasant woman, especially Mrs. Tanja from Serbia, who maintains hygiene in the property. She is a former teacher and was very kind to our children, teaching them Greek words and poems. The only downside is the weaker internet, which can be an issue if you want to send pictures or make video calls, but it isn’t that important. The accommodation is excellent for families with small children, as it is located just 250 meters from Pachis beach, which features a long shallow area of 50-60 meters and clear water. The market is a kilometer away from the accommodation, and Limenas is a 5 to 10-minute drive away. Definitely, all the beaches are worth visiting on Thassos.

We rented a maisonette in September 2018, shared with another family with small children. The accommodation is exceptional. It is equipped with all the necessary appliances (mixer, toaster, juice strainer, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, large refrigerator, vacuum cleaner...). The yard is exceptionally well-maintained, cleaned and washed every morning. Stefi is outstanding, always at your service. Those who have been to Tasos know that Pachis is one of the best beaches with natural shade, which is of utmost importance for families with children (if not the best beach). The hotel on the beach has slightly disrupted the tranquility that you used to enjoy with one café and two tavernas. For this reason, prices on the beach have also increased compared to before - for instance, draft beer of 0.5 liters is 4 EUR, and soup in the taverna is 5.5... Previously, there was a taverna at the hotel site that offered excellent conditions for those dining with them.

Pachis is a lovely little place for families with children. We visited several beaches and agreed that we had found the perfect accommodation for us. Sapfos House is exceptionally well organized, from the courtyard to the accommodation units. During our stay, everything was fully booked, yet we hardly encountered any of the other guests. The accommodation unit was clean, although slightly smaller than it appears in the photographs, but that is truly not a complaint. The owners welcomed us, settled us in, and informed us that they would be available from 9 AM, and that we could request anything we needed during our stay. We had a wonderful time and carried away beautiful memories.

We stayed at this accommodation from August 21 to August 31, 2018, consisting of two adults and children aged 13 and 11. We were accommodated in an apartment located in the owner's house, which is in the basement, and this did not bother us. The landlady was very kind, spoke good English, and we had everything we needed. It is only necessary to organize well regarding shopping, as the nearest store is about 2 km away on the main road, so it is advisable to go by car. None of these factors hindered our enjoyment during the 10 days we spent there.

A sincere recommendation for Sapfo's. Everything is just as you described. Beautiful. Clean. The beach is nearby. There are no crowds. The staff is friendly. We were there with two small children. A perfect place for a vacation with kids.

We stayed at the owner Sapfo's house from July 16 to July 30, 2018. It is recommended for children up to 12 years old. If we manage to make a reservation for next year, we will return; I believe that says it all.

For two consecutive years - 2016 and 2017, we stayed at Sapfo apartments with a small child (2 years old). The apartments are excellent, clean, and equipped with all the necessary basic amenities, while the location is ideal for families with young children. Pachis beach is spacious, clean, with fine sand, a long shallow area, and natural shade - perfect for staying with children. Sun loungers on the beach are provided with drinks; we visited during peak season and there were never too many people on the beach. The capital, Limenas, and a few larger markets are nearby. Anyone coming to Thassos with small children will surely not go wrong with Sapfo apartments.

We were with two small children in September 2017. The experience was fantastic. The weather was perfect, as was the sea temperature. The accommodation was excellent, featuring a remarkable courtyard and very welcoming hosts. The location was ideal, close to beaches such as Pahis and La Scala, as well as supermarkets, and Limenas was perfect for evening strolls (we recommend the Mylos restaurant). We explored the entire island and concluded that the location of the Sapfo apartment on Pahis beach is one of the best, if not the best. Highly recommended!

In previous years, we visited Pathis beach and found accommodation there. The natural shade and shallow waters make it, in our opinion, the best on the entire island. The accommodation is excellent, the owners are friendly, and we will definitely return.

In June, my wife and I, along with our two daughters, had a wonderful time. It is the perfect place for a vacation for several organized families.

First and foremost, you will receive exactly what is promised. The hosts are fantastic, always available for any kind of assistance needed. The accommodation is clean and equipped with everything you might require. The beach is nearby, featuring excellent natural shade and sand. You receive beach loungers along with your drinks. There are showers, restrooms, and places to enjoy a nice meal. You need to drive to the store, but that was not a problem for us. For an evening stroll, you will again need to get in the car to reach a location, but with two babies like we had, walking was not really feasible :-) All in all, it is perfect for a proper vacation with kids! Just swimming, sunbathing, and sleeping :-)

We visited Sapfo in August 2016, consisting of mom, dad, son, and baby. We stayed in a ground-floor apartment and were extremely satisfied with the entire arrangement. The accommodation is very nicely furnished, equipped with everything needed, and the furniture is relatively new. The terrace is spacious, and no matter how the sun moves, there is always a place to find shade. The yard is beautiful and spacious, featuring two barbecues. The owners are outstanding. A few years ago, the management was taken over by the owner's son and his wife, and they both deserve high praise. They speak English fluently and accommodated all our special requests (using the washing machine, assistance with the barbecue, even arranging a birthday cake, etc.). Sterjos and Stefi, you are wonderful! The beach is just a few minutes' walk away, and in our opinion, it is the best beach for families with children on Thassos. There is not much wind, and it offers natural shade, umbrellas, sun loungers, and plenty of space for towels, sand, and pebbles... There are several good restaurants on the beach. A five-minute drive away is a hypermarket, and just a few minutes further is a health center in Prinos, which operates 24/7. We recommend this accommodation for families with children, considering that practically all guests are families of four. About 80% of the guests are from Serbia. As seen in the pictures, the apartments are next to each other, so interaction with the neighbors is practically inevitable, so assess how suitable such an arrangement is for you. This is certainly good for the kids, as they have company. There is also a nicely equipped playground for them and a large lawn.

The accommodation is located in close proximity to Pahis beach, exceptionally peaceful and clean. Pahis beach offers natural shade, making it suitable for small children. The only downside is that this beach tends to be quite crowded... Nearby is Glifoneri beach, which is even better for children, but it requires a longer walk to reach it.

A beautiful courtyard featuring two grills, a children's playground, and a spacious, well-maintained grassy area. The apartments are somewhat smaller, but this does not hinder normal functioning at all. Parking is available in the shade. The hosts deserve all the praise.

We spent ten beautiful days at Sapfo Bungalows from July 18 to July 28, 2016. The location of the apartment is outstanding for several reasons. First, and most importantly for my family with two small children, is the proximity to the beaches of Pachis and Glifoneri, which are a true paradise for lovers of natural shade. Both beaches are in the immediate vicinity of the apartment, and you can easily walk to them. The second reason is the close proximity of a large supermarket, just 2 km from the accommodation (on the way out of Skala Rachoni towards Limenaria). The third reason is the closeness of Limenas (about 8-10 km), which is perfect if you enjoy evening outings. As for the accommodation itself, everything is in perfect order – clean, tidy, and meticulous. The hosts are extremely kind and fulfill all your additional, reasonable requests. We were accommodated in a studio.

Dear users of the Nikana website, I have just returned from this accommodation where I stayed with my family from July 11 to July 31, 2016. During the twenty days spent on the island, we traveled 1150 km and visited almost everything worth seeing. We concluded that the location of Pachis beach and the Sapfo accommodation is the best you could wish for, especially if you are traveling with small children. In my opinion, the accommodation has only one drawback, which is that you have to walk 50 meters along the main road, which is not easy with two small children. This year, a hotel named Sentido opened on the beach, which looks perfect, and the food in the restaurant in front of the hotel is the most affordable and delicious (we had lunch or dinner every day at one of the restaurants in Limenas, Skala Potamii, Panagia, Potos, Skala Maries). If you head south, you have the excellent Blue Lake beach, which has three pools and a beach with natural shade and a gradual entry into the water with a sandy bottom, and you can use all of this if you buy a drink. Next, there is the hotel beach in Tripiti, which also has a pool that is particularly interesting for children. Following that is Potos, which I think is ideal if you want a crowd (33 km from the accommodation). If you head towards Limenas, the first beach after Pachis is Glifoneri, which is almost the best for small children (the food in the restaurant is poor), then there is La Scala beach, which is interesting if you enjoy modern electronic music, and of course, there is a pool for children. After Limenas is Makriamos beach, which you must visit, as well as the marble beach, which is beautiful but not suitable for spending the whole day. Next on the list is Golden Beach, which is so large that it would take 15 days to explore all its parts (it is excellent for children) and in my opinion, it concludes with Paradiso beach, which always has waves and is interesting for all ages. We visited beaches such as Aliki, Psili Amos, Astris, Astpas, etc., but I only recommend those mentioned above for families with small children. Returning to the accommodation, the hosts are unobtrusive yet always available if you need them. Most guests are from Serbia, so the children have company. All praise for Sapfo as well as for Nikana. A big hello from a satisfied guest.

From September 8th to 17th, I stayed with my wife and son in an apartment. The accommodation is truly of high quality, clean, and without any complaints. The replacement of bed linen and towels is done automatically, without any special requests. Quality cleaning supplies are available. There is ample parking space in the yard; there is also a recreational park for both adults and children. For barbecue enthusiasts, there is a large grill with a refrigerator, all covered. Both the yard and the property are regularly maintained. Wherever you look, you can see the touch of a caring host. All this contributes to making guests feel very comfortable. The owner's presence is completely unobtrusive. If you need assistance - he is there. At the end of our stay, he offered to help me wash the car and gifted us a bottle of his wine. The beach is very close, making the walk to and from the beach enjoyable. The water is clear, the sand is clean, and there is plenty of shade and trash bins on the beach that are regularly emptied.

I stayed in a studio in the basement of the landlord's house with my wife and our 16-month-old child. Overall, we are satisfied with our stay. Bunk beds have been added to this studio in the meantime, so it now accommodates four people. When we booked, it was a two-person studio. We also had a folding crib, which made the space even tighter. Everything is new, very clean, including the bedding, cushions, and towels. The hosts are very nice people, although some may find them strict; they simply ask for a minimum level of household order, which pertains to a break in using the grill from 3 PM to 5 PM. The landlord bought me fishing hooks in the town of Thassos and didn't charge me anything. The landlady brought grapes from the garden for the child every day. Wonderful people, although their English is limited, so you might not notice it at first glance.

I spent my family vacation from July 13 to July 24. I can only speak highly of Tasos. It was the best vacation I have ever experienced.

We stayed at the Sapfo bungalows from June 16 to July 1, 2013. I was in the apartment with my wife and two children (aged 6 and 8). Pachis beach is an ideal place for parents with young children. There is no crowd on the beach, and throughout the day, there is natural shade from the trees. The Sapfo bungalows are situated in a beautiful location (close to the beach), featuring a lovely garden and exceptionally attentive and friendly hosts. The apartment itself is nicely decorated with a good layout (separate kitchen), a large terrace, and plenty of windows (bright and airy). All praise for cleanliness. The only complaint is regarding the kitchen utensils (especially cutlery and kitchen knives) and the limited storage space (one wardrobe without shelves). We are very satisfied and plan to visit this wonderful place again.

I have nothing but praise for this year's vacation. As for the accommodation, it couldn't have been better. It was beautiful; upon our arrival, we were greeted by friendly hosts who settled us into our apartment and were available throughout our stay for anything we needed. The apartments are new and clean. We received fresh linens and towels every five days. The yard is lovely, fenced, with a children's playground, allowing the kids, of whom there were quite a few, to enjoy playing until 11 or 12 o'clock! The beach near the apartment is stunning, shaded by nature, with umbrellas and sun loungers. All in all, it was wonderful. Upon our departure, the hosts sent us off with a liter of red wine.

My husband, our two-year-old child, and I stayed in the second half of June. It is a studio located near the main road. The accommodation is new, clean, the Wi-Fi is excellent, and the garden is lovely. The owners are very kind. The guests are mostly families with small children. All in all, we are very satisfied.

The hosts worked diligently from morning till night, like two busy bees, unobtrusive yet always available should you need assistance. Peace, tranquility, homemade products - a gift from the hosts, crickets, and the proximity to beautiful beaches... All in all, a splendid holiday.

My husband, our two children aged 3 and 6, and I stayed at the Sapfo studio from June 17th to 27th and returned utterly delighted... The beach was excellent for children, the accommodation was also great, and the hosts were wonderful people who never skimp on smiles. There was an abundance of greenery, a children's park (swings, slide, table tennis), clean, and close to the beach. These are the reasons why we have already decided to be guests of these lovely people again next year!

We stayed at the Sapfo apartments from September 8th to 20th, 2012. The accommodation is perfectly adequate for the three adults and one child in our party. Although the space is not large, it meets our needs. The hosts are fantastic... they are constantly busy, much like the Japanese. The yard is nicely arranged for children, featuring swings, a slide, and a table for table tennis. The bed linens are changed every 3-4 days. The beach is about 200 meters away from the accommodation. The sand is fine and shaded, making it ideal for children.

I spent time with my wife and our one-year-old baby from September 3rd to 15th, 2012, and we had a delightful vacation. The hosts are wonderful people, extremely kind, and the bungalows are new, ensuring everything is exceptionally clean and tidy, from the interior of the bungalow to the yard, which the host Ioanis maintains impeccably. They regularly change the linens and towels every third day. There is also a play area for children with swings, a slide, a table for table tennis, and a climbing frame. The distance to Pahis beach is about 150 meters, which we warmly recommend to parents with children, as the water is very clean, there is natural shade, sandy water, and a long shallow area. The nearest market is about 2 kilometers away and is very well stocked. As for us, we haven't slept this well in a long time as we did in the Sapfo bungalows, and I must mention that the best lamb can be found at the Elena restaurant in Panagia :-)

In the second half of July 2012, I stayed with my wife and two children (1 and 3 years old) in a studio located on the ground floor of the owner's house. The studio has an exit to a courtyard that is completely isolated from other guests, giving you the feeling of being in your own home. This part of the courtyard is shaded by olive trees and features a well-kept lawn that is regularly watered, making it very pleasant. The studio is spacious and clean, facing the sea and olive grove, so there is no noise from the main road or other apartments. The owners take great care of the courtyard and garden; everything is clean and tidy, largely thanks to the owner, who appears somewhat strict, while his wife is very kind. The owner insists on respecting house rules and tranquility, ensuring that anyone who comes to relax will have a peaceful place to unwind. This was exactly the type of accommodation we were looking for, and we were very satisfied, primarily thanks to Ana and the objective description. Although we approached it with slight reservations, we received more than we expected. A wonderful beach is nearby, but you need to drive to the store. We enjoyed our 15 days here. There is parking in the courtyard, as well as swings and a playground for children. This studio also offers WIFI internet. We will definitely return here. I would recommend it to everyone.

In August 2012, I was with my wife and our six-month-old baby. The beach is nearby, although it would be even closer if the yard had an exit to the sea through the olive grove, rather than just towards the main road. On Google Maps, Sapfo is marked on the other side of the main road, but it is actually on the side towards the sea, so you don’t have to cross the main road; just go 20 meters to the right along the main road and about 100 meters further to the right to the beach. The beach is excellent, with plenty of natural shade. I believe we will return to Sapfo next year as well.

In mid-August 2012, my wife, our two small children (aged 4 and 7), and I stayed in a second-floor apartment. The apartment suited our taste, well-furnished, with new furniture, perfectly balanced in space and quality. The terrace was spacious, facing a children's playground, allowing us to enjoy our evenings with a drink while watching the kids play. There were always enough children of similar ages, so all the kids had playmates. The playground was well-equipped with enough props to create an ideal place for about two hours of evening play, just enough for parents to relax. The beach was conveniently close. On the beach, there were restaurants and bars with very reasonable prices, and sun loungers and umbrellas were included with the purchase of drinks. The beach offered natural shade from the pines and breathtaking sunsets until late evening. The friendly hosts were there, though we didn't even realize it. There was ample parking space available in the courtyard. Wireless internet was also provided. In a nutshell - we found exactly what we needed and will definitely return next year.

We stayed at the property in August 2012, with two families. As soon as we arrived, we were disappointed because the owners informed us that they did not have two ground-floor apartments as we had reserved, and that one family would have to move to the upper floor. This meant that we could not gather in a way that the children would be on one terrace and the adults on another, as one terrace faces one side of the yard and the other faces the opposite side. We had difficulty communicating with the owners due to their poor English, so our friend agreed to take the apartment upstairs. Once we unpacked, the owner's daughter-in-law came and explained in good English that there had been a mistake and that we could indeed move to the ground-floor apartment. However, our friend no longer wanted to move, as both they and the other family, who had been mistakenly placed in their ground-floor apartment, had already unpacked. Thus, we remained on our respective sides and wandered around the property several times a day. Everything else was fine, and we were very satisfied. The accommodation was generally well-built and functionally equipped. Regardless of the initial misunderstanding and all the shortcomings I mentioned, this was one of the better accommodations, and I do not rule out the possibility that we might come again :)

From July 30th to August 13th, I traveled with my wife and our four-year-old child. We had a wonderful time. Tasos is truly beautiful. Overall, I am satisfied with the accommodation, especially the yard, and the kindness of the owners. The biggest drawback for families with small children is the large number of concrete unevennesses, which often cause little ones to fall and get injured, necessitating constant supervision. Another downside is that the internet only works in the vicinity of the owner's house and not in the apartments. Additionally, quiet hours begin at 11 PM, and if someone happens to stay and chat afterwards, the owner starts to remind us. If you sit on the upper side near the road, the noise level is such that it disrupts normal conversation.

At the beginning of July, my husband, daughter (3 years old), grandmother, and I went on vacation. We received an apartment on the upper floor, which turned out to be excellent due to its shade, separate terrace, and proximity to the playground. It is not actually an upper floor, but a few steps up, and the ground floor is quite low since the terrain is cascading. The apartments are small, yet charming and clean, everything works, and it is decently equipped. We were extremely satisfied with the accommodation because the beach was very close (about 2 minutes on foot), and we were especially happy because we found the best beach for small children sensitive to the sun. My family loves nature, crickets, trees... much more than plastic umbrellas in rows and the plastic Chinese trinkets that are sold around. Pachis is wonderful for all these reasons. The beach is filled with people who are staying at other places with small children, so they travel daily. The accommodation is quite nice for the price. Food is not a problem, nor are night outings, as everything is within a few kilometers of you. The place lacks external entertainment, but there is some within the complex. The children from the apartments bond, and those are the tears that inspired me to name my comment this way. It was that magical moment of parting at the gate of the Sapfo bungalows when all the children waved goodbye with their parents, and I cried inconsolably, but they did not see me. The beach is ideal for little ones and also convenient for aqua-bikes for moms. The enjoyment is immense. I was satisfied with the accommodation. We visited all the places, and none of the beaches were colder or quieter; it resembled some exotic place dedicated to small children. This is also convenient for parents. There are a few diving spots, a wonderful ambiance, but nothing special in terms of marine catches. The island is expensive, sometimes even overly so, but when you return home, you realize that you spend a similar amount of money in Montenegro for a much worse vacation. I even had the coincidence of buying a beautiful bag in Limenas for quite a little money, so even if shopping in Thassos is almost absurd, a true shopaholic will always find a good catch. This was one of the nicer vacations. Thanks to Nikana, and she should know for the future to direct families with small children to Pachis, not to Potos. Once again, thank you, as we were very satisfied.

I vacationed with my husband and daughter for 2.5 years, starting in September 2011. We were very pleased with the accommodation, and we have nothing but praise for the hosts, who were always there to assist us. It was lovely that they had parking as well as a fenced playground for children with swings and a slide, which our daughter particularly enjoyed. The apartment was spacious, and everything around it was beautifully arranged, including the summer kitchen with a grill that we could use. The beach is relatively close.

I vacationed with my family (my wife and our one-and-a-half-year-old child) in Pachis from July 22 to August 5, 2011. We have nothing but praise for the accommodation and hospitality of the hosts at Sapfo apartments, as well as for the cleanliness within the apartment complex itself. The beach is just a few minutes' walk from the apartments, beautifully arranged and clean, with natural shade, which was particularly suitable for us due to our small child, so we sometimes stayed at the beach all day. On the beach, there are also two restaurants with an exceptionally wide selection of all kinds of dishes at very reasonable prices. The nearest supermarket is 3 km away from Pachis beach apartments, while Limenas is 10 km from Pachis, which is about a ten-minute drive by car. We spent 15 unforgettable days on Thassos, and after exploring the entire island, we realized that we had made the right choice in accommodation. Therefore, I warmly recommend the Sapfo apartments at Pachis beach to everyone.

At the end of June, my family vacation was exceptional. The accommodation was excellent, everything was in its place, from the apartment and courtyard to the friendly hosts. The proximity to the beach was an added advantage, a warm recommendation!

We are a family of four, and after two years of studies, we arrived at the Sapfo apartment - featuring two separate rooms, one with a double bed and the other with bunk beds. Upon entering, the apartment exuded cleanliness and was truly spacious; the only thing we lacked was another pot :) The landlady was incredibly kind, although her English was not the best, her sons were often around, making communication easier. Pachis beach is our favorite, so it hardly needs much praise, but for those who are unaware, there is natural shade from the pine trees, so you don't even need umbrellas, and the sea is fantastic! These apartments are not directly on the beach, but they are close enough, although our children found it challenging to walk in the heat, even for just five minutes. The supermarket is two kilometers away, and Limenas, where we went out in the evenings, is at nine, but that didn't bother us; several evenings we sat on the terrace while the kids had company and played in the yard. Yes, the yard is spacious and has a few swings and a slide. There is a very good fish restaurant nearby (although you need to drive there, from the supermarket towards the sea) with reasonable prices, but the route to it is a maze, so ask the locals for LYKOS; they will explain it better! Our vacation was in July 2011.

We vacationed in July 2011, consisting of three adults and two small children, aged 6 and 2. The accommodation was excellent, and the hosts were incredibly hospitable and kind. The beach is located about 150 meters from the accommodation, making it very close. What enchanted us during this vacation was the choice of the beach itself. It may not be the most beautiful beach on the island, as there are many more stunning ones, but also inaccessible, too far, deserted, or overly crowded. For us, Pahis beach was just right. Right next to our apartment, it was vast and shaded by nature, allowing us to spread out as much as we desired. We didn't have to wake up early to secure a spot; in fact, we hardly needed sun loungers, although we occasionally rented them. It wasn't a problem if we paid for two and used four loungers. We enjoyed peace during the day on the beautiful beach, and in the evening, we went out to the capital, Thassos, which is only a 10-minute drive away. If you don't want to go out, the children can play in the yard, which is quite acceptable, especially if you have company. The supermarket is located a few kilometers from the apartment, and it is large and well-equipped.

My partner and I spent two weeks in August 2011 in the SAPFO apartment on Thassos, almost right at Pachis beach. This was our fourth visit to Thassos, so we sought accommodation near Pachis beach, which we liked the most. The SAPFO apartments are newly built, located in the second row of houses above the beach, making it just a 3-minute walk to the shore. Everything is exceptionally clean and tidy. We were accommodated in an apartment designed for two adults and two children (a double bed and bunk beds). My husband and I found it quite comfortable, but it might feel a bit cramped for a family of four.

We are a family with three children aged 6, 3, and a 4-month-old baby. We were alone. The apartment is located 100 meters from a beach that is perfect for children. People came from all directions with their kids to our beach. It is filled with greenery, good music, sand, but also a few thorns from the trees. Three kilometers from our apartment is the largest market on the island, well-stocked. On the other side, we are only 10 kilometers away from the capital, where there is an abundance of entertainment, promenades, boutiques, and cafes. The apartment is like new, clean, with a beautiful yard and a small park for children. The hosts are very friendly. The only complaint is that the apartment is small and lacks sufficient wardrobes, so I kept things scattered around the room. My apartment faced the street, but the apartments on the lower side, which face the sea, are larger and much better; I saw them at the end. I recommend a restaurant in the city called NO FAST FOOD/GOOD FOOD, located at the end of the promenade.

I stayed with my family (my wife and two children). The house is exceptionally clean and tidy. The hosts are kind and always available. The house has a large yard, perfect for children, with a small playground within the yard for younger kids. Parking is provided in the yard. It is located about a hundred meters from the beach. The beach is sandy, with natural shade and exceptionally clean water. As for food, we cooked for ourselves, and in the evenings we mostly went to Limenas for gyros, pizza, or souvlaki. Limenas is 10 kilometers from the villa. There are no shops or bakeries in Pachis, but since we drove, we organized ourselves and went to the large supermarket (I believe it’s the largest on the island) every other day to buy what we needed. It is about 3 km from Villa Sapho. We were there in the first half of June, and the weather was fantastic, and the sea was not cold at all (the children didn’t want to leave the water)! I would highly recommend this accommodation to everyone, along with visiting other beaches on the island.

We vacationed in mid-July, my mother, brother, daughter, and I. We were absolutely delighted with the accommodation. We stayed in a ground-floor apartment. Everything was new and clean. I was enchanted by the scent of the linens and towels. The owners were perfect, friendly, and always ready to assist. We did not drive, but rented a car twice. We organized ourselves wonderfully. The beach is nearby, clean, and shaded. My daughter, who is 7 years old, did not want to leave the water. We also visited Aliki beach and Tripiti, but she preferred Pahis. Supplies can be found in neighboring towns, as well as promenades. We were well-informed about the area and were not disappointed at all. Next year, I would happily vacation in the same place again.
