Sotiria House deserves all the praise; the location is excellent, and the cleanliness is of a high standard. After five days, the bed linens and towels are changed. When we entered the accommodation, everything smelled delightful. It is a quiet location, yet close to the center and the beach. The studio is smaller, but it is perfectly adequate for our needs of just a place to sleep. The grandmother, whom I must commend, is wonderful; in the end, we received a small gift. She is always smiling and cheerful. The atmosphere is relaxed.

The hosts are outstanding, responsible, and always ready to assist. Grandma Sotirija is a wonderful woman, very pleasant and kind, who is open to conversation. She welcomed us warmly and graciously, offering us a jar of jam and a bowl of dried olives as a token of hospitality.

Our stay of 10 nights in August 2023, with two adults and three small children, was exceptional. The accommodation is excellent, spacious, with a large terrace that is always shaded. The house is located in a courtyard behind the main building. The courtyard is shared with a few other houses, but the position of the terrace ensures that you have almost no contact with the neighbors. The kitchen is large and well-equipped. The refrigerator broke down on the first day we arrived, but within half an hour, they purchased and delivered a new one. This speaks volumes about how good and attentive the owners are. They are not intrusive; they are available if you need anything, for advice, etc. There is ample parking available in the courtyard. The location is good, but not ideal for walking to the beach with small children due to the lack of sidewalks. You have to navigate the road with cars. We explored the island by car, so this was not a problem for us, except in the evenings when we went for a stroll in the center.

During the period from July 23rd to 30th, we stayed in an apartment for five people (one bed is practically an extra in the kitchen/dining area). As mentioned in the description, the location is about 5-6 minutes from the center of Potos. The 55 m² apartment is situated in a separate house at the back of the yard, behind the main house. Parking is available in the yard; we had two vehicles and there was always enough space. At the entrance to the apartment, there is a terrace with a hose and tap, allowing for washing off sand from items or the car if parked nearby. The terrace is not covered, so it can be used for sitting early in the morning or late in the afternoon. The property includes two bedrooms. One has two separate beds that can be joined, while the other has a French bed and a small terrace at the back (not large and not suitable for sitting). The kitchen and dining area are in a separate room. It is equipped with a smaller refrigerator, a stove oven, and basic utensils such as a pot, cutlery, a coffee pot, and a couple of coffee cups. The dining table is small, but there are two additional tables that can be used, one in the first room and one at the entrance on the terrace. All windows have blinds; some, which are opened more frequently, also have screens (in the kitchen and bathroom). The large air conditioning unit is sufficient to cool everything down. The bathroom has a shower cabin, but without a curtain, so it tends to splash a bit more. It is not indicated anywhere, but please pay attention not to throw toilet paper in the toilet. There is no power outlet in the bathroom. The internet is adequate for light surfing and watching YouTube. There is no TV. Communication with the landlady is only possible in Greek, so with a bit of pantomime and a lot of laughter, we manage to understand each other. There are no trash bins, so we carried our waste to the container down the street. The bathroom lacks something for mopping the floor. Bed linens are changed every five days. Overall, the accommodation appears tidy and clean. From the outside, you cannot enter the apartment without a key, so be careful not to lock the key inside.

An excellent accommodation in Potos. It is far enough from the hustle and bustle, yet close to everything you may need. We stayed in August 2019 in a three-bed studio. For a price of 45 EUR, we received exactly what we expected, even an extra bed in the room. The terrace is spacious enough to sit at a table, have breakfast, enjoy a drink in the evening, or play a game of cards... The kitchenware is sufficient, although one smaller pot might be lacking (to avoid using a 5L pot for cooking 4 sausages). The bathroom is spacious, although the shower area could be a bit larger. There are not many apartments in the house, so there is no crowd, which we appreciated. Everything is clean and tidy. During our 10-day stay, the bedding and towels were changed twice, and it would not be a problem to change them upon request. The landlady, a grandmother who is always cheerful and friendly, speaks only Greek, but there is always someone around to help with any arrangements. In the yard, you also get a parking space, which has become very important in Potos. Our studio faced southeast and offered a peaceful view of the hills and the sea. The air conditioning works excellently and quietly, the TV is new, but the selection of channels is minimal. WiFi is always available, but the speed is poor, so do not count on video calls. For everything else, it is adequately equipped.

The four-person studio is exactly as described; everything is accurately detailed. It is modestly furnished but exceptionally clean. The only drawback is the internet, which is more than inadequate. Communicating with the elderly lady is somewhat challenging as she does not know a word of English.

Excellent accommodation. Everything described is accurate. From the terrace, we enjoyed a view of the olive grove, the sea, and Mount Athos.

The landlady is a lovely old woman who constantly smiles. The room was very clean and quite satisfactory. There was no noise, which may be important to some, and it is located about 300 meters from the main road, close to the center yet away from the hustle and bustle. We had a wonderful time and wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation. It is not luxurious, but it is clean, functional, and perfectly adequate for a holiday. Moreover, whatever we needed for the room, the old lady kindly provided us.

The accommodation is good and clean. Air conditioning is free. There is always hot water. It is located in a quiet area, which is favorable, and relatively close to the beach.

During the period from July 24 to August 4, 2016, we stayed in the first house, in a four-person apartment with three beds in one room and one in the kitchen. This apartment features two terraces; one is exceptionally large facing the street, while the other overlooks the courtyard, offering a beautiful view. Everything is very clean and tidy. The landlady is a very friendly and cheerful grandmother, always available to help. The location is peaceful, sufficiently distant from the hustle and bustle, yet not far from all necessary amenities. An excellent vacation!

Not everything is quite as we expected, but it’s not so bad either. It all depends on what you expect for your money. The accommodation description mentioned a barbecue, and it indeed exists, but it is unusable (neglected and buried under various items). Additionally, the description states that internet access is available, and it is, but the speed is disastrous (512 kb/s cannot support Skype or Viber video calls or conversations; only messages can get through). The TV has 6 channels, all in Greek, but that can be managed without.

We stayed in the apartment from July 10 to July 20, 2015. Our family consists of five members: three children aged 16, 14, and 11, along with the two of us. The bungalow is comfortable, featuring a lovely terrace.

My husband, daughter, and I visited in the second half of July 2014. We stayed in a three-person studio on the upper floor of the first house. The furnishings were modest, with limited kitchen utensils. The terrace was spacious, but there was no partition from the neighbors. The grandmother was kind and helpful, but her age prevented her from being more involved.

My son and I stayed as a couple from August 10, 2013, for ten days, and we were very pleased with the accommodation. The landlady was extremely kind, the apartment was impeccably clean, and towels and linens were changed as agreed. All in all, a wonderful experience.

In 2010 and 2011, our friends visited us for a full eight years. I lack the words to describe the peace and tranquility found in these accommodations. The kindness of everyone there may even be excessive by our standards.
