We enjoyed a truly wonderful stay at this studio; everything was spotless, neat, and comfortable, and the hosts were extraordinarily kind and helpful, always ready to lend a hand. What impressed us most was that they run their own olive-oil production—we tasted it, loved it, and, of course, bought several bottles. We will certainly return, for this blend of cozy accommodation, wonderful people, and authentic local products deserves every recommendation.

This summer, we chose an arrangement through nikana.gr. The reservation was for the PINELOPI studio in Potos, and I must commend the agency for their description and service, as everything stated in the description was indeed accurate.

Apartment number 4, where we stayed, is excellently equipped, spacious, and clean. Halfway through our stay, it was thoroughly cleaned, and the bed linens and towels were changed. It features two terraces, one of which offers a partial view of the sea. The beach is nearby, as well as a bakery and a market. There is free parking located about 200 meters from the accommodation. Highly recommended!

The location of the studio is excellent, close to all the happenings. The market, bakery, and other shops are just a three-minute walk away; everything is nearby and easily accessible, including the city beach. Mrs. Despina is very kind and always there to assist you with anything you need. We particularly liked the four-bed apartment, which is the best option if you are traveling with children. The apartment is average, but it has everything you need. All praises!

Pinelopi Studio, clean and close to the beach

We were with family, and the surroundings were mostly filled with families as well. We ventured out to the most beautiful and pristine part of the beach in Potos. What mattered most to us was the tranquility and silence during the night, free from unpleasant odors in the accommodation and its vicinity, and it was exceptionally clean. Hot water is available 24 hours a day, with excellent pressure. At the heart of it all, there’s the beach, pedestrian zone, shops, pizzerias, gyros, restaurants, bars, playrooms for children, doctors, and a hypermarket just 400 meters away that also offers cooked meals. If it weren’t for the tall vegetation and a row of houses in front, we would have had an exceptional view of the sea, visible from the flat roof that is not in use. The terrain is flat, without any hills or slopes. The hosts are kind, accommodating, and unobtrusive. Parking spaces are available just 50 meters from the accommodation. The location of Potos is ideal for exploring other beaches and interesting sites. There aren’t many mosquitoes, and there are mosquito nets. The air conditioning works beautifully. We were satisfied.

The Pinelopi studios are of excellent quality in every respect. The space is clean and tidy, the hosts are very courteous (unobtrusive), and the price is reasonable. The only minor remark and recommendation is to try to accommodate close families in apartments 4 and 5 whenever possible, due to the shared area that one must pass through. Everything else is outstanding! We hope to return to the same apartment.

A perfectly acceptable accommodation situated in an excellent location. Although it is almost on the promenade and very close to the beach, it remains remarkably tranquil and free from noise. A significant advantage is its placement in a cul-de-sac, providing protection from disturbances. While there is no parking available, public parking is conveniently nearby. Overall, the price-to-quality ratio is outstanding.

We spent 12 days in a spacious two-bedroom apartment with two terraces and a barbecue on the ground floor. The hosts were exceptionally friendly, regularly cleaning and changing towels, and the apartment had everything necessary (don’t bring your own towels for showering). EVERYTHING IN THE DESCRIPTION (especially the distance to the beach and the center) IS 101% ABSOLUTELY LITERALLY ACCURATE. What is missing? - Parking. However, there is public parking just 5 minutes away. - There isn’t really a yard, just concrete between this and the neighboring accommodation. - There is no Teflon pan (there is a steel one). - The hairdryer is not powerful enough (there is a small weak one).

By pure chance, I stumbled upon the agency Nikana.gr online and fulfilled my desire to vacation in Thassos. We stayed for ten days in the selected Pinelopi studio, and I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation to everyone as it is located right in the center of everything yet tucked away in a peaceful corner of a quaint little blind alley. An excellent bakery and pastry shop, along with a mini market, are just two houses away from the studio! The owners are incredibly friendly, speak English, and are available 24 hours a day as they reside there. Everything is generally prepared every five days, and the linens and towels are changed. The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials, including a kettle. The air conditioning works and is not charged extra. I recommend this accommodation in Potos to everyone (the beach is just a 2-minute walk away), as well as the collaboration and travel to Greece through the excellent agency Nikana.gr, which is professional and reliable at all times. Our upcoming vacation will also be through them; we are already in discussions... :)

We vacationed here in September 2018. We were accommodated on the ground floor in a two-bed studio. The studio is quite spacious, featuring a large balcony overlooking the entrance of the house. The bathroom is roomy and fully equipped, with a shower separated by a curtain, a sink, a large mirror above the sink, and the toilet physically separated by a wall from the shower cabin. The kitchen is small but fully equipped, containing everything necessary, including a kettle and a kitchen towel. The room is furnished with a double bed and an additional bed that serves as a sofa bed, along with a wardrobe, nightstands on both sides of the bed, and a TV with 30 channels. The WiFi signal is excellent. Bed linens, towels, and kitchen towels are changed every 5 days. The location is exceptional, just 5 minutes from the city beach, 5 minutes to the pedestrian zone, and one minute to the supermarket and bakery. There is no private parking, as noted, but everyone (including the hosts) parks in a public parking area 5-10 minutes away, so this is not an issue. Everything is exceptionally clean and tidy. The owners are very kind yet unobtrusive, and all praises go to them and the accommodation itself.

We vacationed in August 2018, staying in an apartment on the upper floor. The apartment has two bedrooms and a separate kitchen. In reality, it is even more beautiful than in the pictures. It is exceptionally comfortable, spacious, and clean. The landlady cleans the room and changes the linens and towels every five days if you stay for ten days. They have taken care of some details, so the apartment is equipped with a hairdryer, mosquito repellents, and everything is nicely arranged. The hosts are extremely kind and available for anything you might need. They will help you with recommendations for restaurants, beaches, or anything else... they will even assist you if you decide to prepare octopus, which we did! :)

We are extremely satisfied with the accommodation. It is spacious and comfortable, and the hosts are unobtrusive and very pleasant people. Located in the center, yet it is peaceful and quiet. Highly recommended.

During our stay at Pinelopi Studios, we were accommodated in a studio for two on the elevated ground floor. Upon arrival, we were fortunate that the studio was ready by around 10 AM, which, of course, depends on when the previous "tenants" check out. Upon entering, we found a modest yet exceptionally clean and charming studio. We were pleasantly surprised by the large terrace, a hairdryer, a kettle :) and a quite decent bathroom with a physically separated shower cabin and toilet. The landlady was a pleasant woman, with whom we communicated quite easily in English, and when there was a "squeak," her husband would come to the rescue. Both were very kind and helpful. The Wi-Fi signal was quite good, both in the room and in the yard. The sound insulation was not great, but it did not bother us. The absence of private parking initially troubled us a bit, but we soon discovered that we could easily park in the lot along the main road (a 5-minute walk away), and sometimes even on the street, near the accommodation.

The apartment is exactly as described, featuring two bedrooms and a kitchen that connects to the dining area. It is clean, with bed linens changed every four days. There is hot water available until 9 PM. There are plenty of towels provided. It is very quiet, as the apartment is located on an upper floor and is isolated. There are no mosquito nets, but each room has a device for mosquito repellent tablets. The kitchen is well-equipped. Each room has air conditioning. There are two terraces. The owners of the accommodation are extremely kind and helpful, speak English, and deserve all praise. The location is perfect, situated in the center yet tucked away and peaceful. In the afternoon, for instance, after visiting further beaches, you can reach the beach in just three minutes, which is very convenient. A market is located on the street, and parking is a bit further away. The house where the accommodation is located looks much nicer, so I suggest updating the photo. The internet is weaker in one room, but it works fine in the other and on the terrace. You won't regret choosing to vacation here.

The studio is situated in an excellent location. It is right in the center, close to all the happenings, yet positioned in such a way that the noise of the city is hardly audible.

Potos is a small town, so everything is relatively close regardless of where you are accommodated. Pinelopi is near a supermarket and a bakery, situated on a quiet street with no noise. However, privacy is almost nonexistent. The terraces are separated by curtains, and everything can be heard from the conversations of the neighbors; the smoke from their cigarettes drifts into your room. The view also overlooks the terraces of other houses that are very close. The kitchen is well-equipped; everything is modest but clean and freshly painted. The shower curtain hangs half a meter above the floor, and I don't even know what purpose it serves. The bunk beds are made of thin bars and do not seem sturdy at all. The hosts are decent. The accommodation is close to the town beach, but I wouldn't recommend it. There are many better beaches on Thassos that can be reached by car.

Dear all! We vacationed in August on Thassos, specifically in Potos! This was our first time there, and I can tell you in one word that it is a wonderful place. Regarding the accommodation, we stayed at the Pinelopi studio, and we couldn't have found a better place, as it was right in the heart of Potos, everything was within reach: the beach, the town, everything, yet far enough from the noise and commotion. The accommodation is top-notch for me, starting with cleanliness, where the owner changed the bedding and towels on the fifth day and thoroughly cleaned the place, which honestly delighted me, as we have not experienced this in other accommodations, even though we have been vacationing in Greece for seven consecutive years. The owners are incredibly kind and accommodating, and I want to take this opportunity to greet them and recommend to everyone that if they decide to visit Thassos, they should choose the Pinelopi accommodation, which is one of the best in terms of proximity to the beach and the town. The owners are excellent hosts and are always there to help. From July 17 to July 29, we were accommodated in Villa Pinelopi, in a triple studio. The accommodation fully met our needs, everything was as described on the Nikana.gr website. The hosts were exceptionally kind and always available to assist if necessary. The bedding, towels, and cleaning of the studio were changed every four days. Everything mentioned was within reach, and the villa's location is such that there is no noise (the beach is just a minute away, and the store and bakery are even closer).

The Pinelopi studio and the ground-floor apartment of smaller dimensions where we stayed perfectly matches the description. It is a modest accommodation, yet exceptionally clean and equipped with all the essentials. The owners are always present and available, very friendly, speaking perfect English and a few words in Serbian. We were satisfied, primarily with the location—a quiet street, yet close to everything in Potos. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and most importantly, the price-quality ratio is a solid ten.

For those who do not seek luxury, this accommodation provides everything necessary for a seaside vacation. It is conveniently located near the center, main street, and the beach. The rooms and terraces are spacious, and there is hot water available for showering after a day at the beach. The hosts are always available and friendly.

A family of three spent 10 days in August 2016, in an upstairs room with its own terrace. The accommodation was excellent: air conditioning (not needed), fast WiFi, a refrigerator in the room, two hot plates, and some kitchenware. The owners speak English, are unobtrusive, yet very accommodating. I had car troubles on the very first day, and they took me to a mechanic outside of Potos where I resolved everything (I am very grateful for that). Minor complaints about the accommodation include the lamps in the room (there are two, and neither works?!?) and the realistically short curtain in the bathroom, which causes the entire bathroom to get splashed during showering. They changed our linens and towels after 5 days, and they thoroughly cleaned the accommodation in the process. The location is fantastic, tucked away from the street so there is no noise, yet right in the heart of Potos. Note (since we searched for accommodation for half an hour): from the parking lot at the beginning of the street, pass by the tattoo artist and reach the bakery across from the grocery store (the name starts with M). Next to the grocery store is a passage that leads to Penelopi. The passage is wide enough for a car to approach, however, it is not for parking: parking is not secured, everyone parks at the beginning of the street, which is realistically a 3-minute walk. If we go to Thassos again, we would gladly stay at Penelopi Studios once more.

The collaboration was correct, and the accommodation was satisfactory - as expected. Tasos is beautiful.

I stayed with my family from July 4th to July 14th, 2016. The hosts were exceptionally kind and communicative, and the cleanliness was remarkable, with the room being cleaned and the linens changed every fifth day. The location is excellent, and the Wi-Fi was outstanding. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

I stayed with my two children and husband in a four-person apartment on the upper floor during the second half of June. The accommodation was truly excellent; the apartment has two rooms, a kitchen and dining area, a bathroom, and features two terraces. Both rooms are equipped with air conditioning, and towels and bed linens are changed every five days along with the cleaning of the apartment. It is clean and decent, and the owners are exceptionally hospitable; their English is very good, and they are very accommodating. The accommodation is located right in the center of Potos, with the beach just three minutes away. The supermarket and bakery are two minutes away, and public free parking is also three minutes away. I highly recommend the Pinelopi accommodation.

I stayed with my husband, two daughters, and our dog in a duplex apartment from July 14 to July 24, 2015, and we had a perfect vacation. There was nothing to irritate us; the hosts were excellent, communication in English was possible, and they were available for any questions or assistance while being unobtrusive.

During our stay at the Pinelopi studio from August 21 to August 30, 2012, we found the hosts to be exceptionally kind and fluent in English. We were accommodated in studio number 5 on the upper floor, featuring a terrace that overlooks the sea. There is another building in front, yet the sea view remains intact. In the afternoons, it can get a bit warm when the sun shines from that side, but with the air conditioning included in the price, it was quite pleasant to stay in the room. The furniture is comfortable, the linens are clean and changed every 5 days. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary. The bathroom has dim lighting. The studio's location is right next to the promenade, just a 3-minute walk from the beach, situated in a small dead-end street. Public parking is very close (free). Immediately upon exiting the street onto the promenade, there is a bakery with fantastic pastries, and a store nearby. Thus, we always had fresh pastries and everything we needed for breakfast. The beach is beautiful, and the water is clear. We are extremely satisfied!

During the period from August 5 to August 17, 2012, we stayed (three adults and two small children) in a four-person apartment on the upper floor, which consists of two bedrooms with air conditioning and TV, a kitchen, and a bathroom. The property is located in an excellent area, close to a supermarket, bakery, beach, and all other amenities. The apartment is beautiful, tidy, and clean, while the kitchen is well-equipped. Two terraces with dual orientation and a shared foyer with seating arrangements make the stay in this accommodation more enjoyable. The owners are very kind, pleasant, and unobtrusive, always ready to assist you regardless of the situation. They speak English. We were extremely satisfied with the accommodation. Last night I returned after a ten-day stay at Villa Pinelopi. I was with my husband in a double studio, room 3, on the ground floor. We are very satisfied; everything is as presented on the website. I appreciate that the kitchenette is separate, as well as the fact that the shower area in the bathroom is distinct from the rest. The hosts are extremely kind and make every effort. It is clean, and the bed linens and towels are changed every five days. The kitchenette is functional, and the dishes are sufficient for simple meal preparation. The terrace is spacious, shaded in the morning, and sunny in the afternoon, so it's perfect for those who enjoy it... We sat inside with the air conditioning on, watching Wimbledon tennis on the computer - internet access is free!

I stayed in Potos during the peak of the season, if I remember correctly, from July 15 to August 1 or 2, with my family. The accommodation was an apartment with four beds and two terraces. Potos itself is not large, so everything is within easy reach—from markets to butcher shops, beaches, restaurants, and everything else needed for a pleasant vacation.

In July 2011, I spent my summer vacation in Potos with my boyfriend. We had a three-bed studio with a terrace, but although it was meant for three, it felt a bit cramped for the two of us (three would have been a squeeze). The house is situated in an excellent location, in the center of Potos, just a three-minute walk to the beach and thirty seconds to the bakery (the best in town) and the supermarket. It is very advantageous that all the rooms rented by the owners face the good side, meaning that the morning sun does not wake you up, nor does it prevent you from enjoying your morning coffee on the terrace :-) while you are at the beach, the sun shines on your window and balcony door. Each studio is equipped with air conditioning, a large sunshade on the terrace, a clothesline with clothespins, a table and chairs, complete kitchenware including pots, cups, cutlery, an extractor fan (if that is important to anyone), a mosquito repellent device and tablets (though I didn’t notice any mosquitoes), a television, a hairdryer, and the hosts are very friendly, making an effort to learn Serbian :-), while they naturally speak English. It is clean and tidy, with bed linens and towels changed every five days. The beach is well-kept with a gradual entry into the water, and there are areas with sunbeds, but here you can forget about privacy (especially during the season when you need to arrive by 10 AM to find a sunbed). To have a sunbed and umbrella, everyone must order at least one drink, which averages around 2.5 euros. Of course, there are parts where you can lay down a towel and stick an umbrella into the sand. The place is small, the promenade can be walked in half an hour, and there is almost no nightlife. They try, the music is loud, and the cafes are right next to each other, but it is evident that everything is forced because the demographic on Thassos is such that there are not many people going to these cafes (young couples, families with children, and older couples). Besides that, there is so much to see on Thassos, you could change beaches every day, and in the evening, you won’t feel like going out because you can find the same in Serbia; it is better to use the time to explore the island thoroughly. YOU MUST visit Marble Beach; I wouldn’t want to say anything about it, just go and see for yourself...the road is a bit rough, but it is truly worth every bump :-) it is not on the map of Thassos that you buy there, but it is located towards Makryammos, when you reach the "intersection" where you turn left to enter the Makryammos beach complex (the only beach where you have to pay an entrance fee per person and parking for the car), you go right and uphill for another 5-6 km toward Marble Beach. Generally, the beaches are very beautiful, and the whole island is full of greenery; when you drive along the main road, you feel as if you are not on an island where the beach heats up to 35 degrees because you are driving through a forest :-) PS If you bring a laptop, you will always have a signal, and you will catch it from the hotel next to your accommodation :-)

During my stay at Pinelopi studio, formerly known as Despina studio, I vacationed with my husband and our five-year-old daughter at the beginning of August. Regarding the accommodation, we were extremely satisfied; the furniture is modest and in good condition (which was not the case with the agency), the room is spacious, as is the terrace, and everything was clean (which is most important to me, first for the child and then for myself). In fact, after a few days, they even cleaned our room and changed the linens without us asking. Everything is just as Ana described, there are no lies, no deceit, and it even looks better than in the pictures. All appliances in the room work, there is a TV, air conditioning, a hairdryer, a refrigerator, and a two-ring stove, and the owner provides mosquito tablets with a device if you need them. The owners are wonderful people, kind and always ready to help you, no matter what it is about. They have two adorable kids with whom all the children from the accommodation play in the yard. They helped us a lot with advice on where to find restaurants, beaches, and local attractions that we inquired about, which we also learned from Ana's blog. The accommodation is located in the very center, in a secluded street, and it is very quiet. In the morning, when you wake up and step out onto the terrace, you are greeted by the aroma of fresh pastries and bread from the nearby bakery... mmm. All in all, I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone for whom luxury is not important, but who values proximity to the city, the beach, cleanliness, and tranquility.
