Hotel Description

Mathios Cottages are located near the beach Psili Ammos. It is modest accommodation with wooden furniture and it is surrounded with olive trees, isolated from the chaos and traffic.

Mathios is located 250 meters away from the beach Psili Ammos. The beach is organized with umbrellas and sunbeds which you can use if you order a drink, and there is also bar and restaurant. First supermarket is 1km away in Astris, while Potos is 5 km far.

In the huge yard there are situated two buildings. One building has two studios and the other has one bigger apartment.

The first bungalow (60m2) consists of two studios, one with three and one with four beds. Furniture is classic, wooden, while accommodation is modest and decent, like a cottage with enough space. Both studios are composed of a kitchen, air conditioning, TV and very large balcony.

Triple studio (30m2) has 3 single beds but one extra bed can be added.

Quadruple studio (30m2) has one double and two single beds.

Another bungalow (50m2) is apartment that consists of two rooms. Bedroom has double bed and one single bed while living room has kitchen and 3 more single beds. This bungalow has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, large terrace with outdoor seating.

All the units have kitchen, bathroom, balcony, mosquito nets, TV, A/C and internet.

Cleaning and change of towels and linen is done every 4 days.

The yard in which are the bungalows is huge, full of olive trees, and includes a barbecue with chairs and tables. The garden is fenced and with gate that locks.

There is enough parking space available inside the yard, so you can park your car near the bungalow if you wish.

When you get to the beach Psili Amos, you will see a narrow dirt road that leads to the left of the main road, drive on it about 300 meters and you’ll come to the gate of Mathios bungalows.

Although the bungalows are isolated, you need only 5 minutes drive to Potos, where you’ll find everything you need of groceries. Potos also offers a wide selection of restaurants, shops, taverns, fast food restaurants, nightlife and the promenade with lots of people.

For smaller purchases you can reach the dragstore at Psili Amos in 2 minutes, or in 5 minutes drive to Astris which has two shops that are decently supplied, and you will find few restaurants in Astris.

If you don’t need luxury but a quiet holiday away from noise and traffic, close to one of the most beautiful, sandy beaches on the island, this accommodation can be the right choice.

Booking and Cancellation Terms

Overnight environmental tax is not included in prices.
Deposit of 30% is required to confirm the reservation. Remaining balance should be payed first day upon arrival. If cancelled 21 or more days prior to arrival, paid money will be fully refunded. If cancelled at any time later, paid money is non-refundable. In the case of early departure, 50% of remaining days will be charged. *If a deposit refund is possible, the shipping costs are borne by the guest. The amount of the costs depends on the chosen shipping method and bank. The average time for a refund after cancellation is three weeks.
