The accommodation is decent with a beautiful view, but there are too many wasps that spoiled the enjoyment, as there is no dining table in the room, only in the courtyard. Additionally, the refrigerator was not working, so we had to use the communal one in the courtyard.

The apartment is situated in a great location for exploring the island, although it is on a hill, the view is fantastic, and the owner is very kind.

We are truly enjoying our stay at this accommodation. The owner is kind and unobtrusive. He does not speak English, but we managed to communicate perfectly. The apartment is situated at the top, offering an unreal view of the sea. Tripiti Beach was just right for us. While the smooth stones at the bottom may pose a challenge for some, they were no issue for us. This beach is wide and never crowded. Our highlight was diving through the cave, and there is also an aqua park on the beach if you're in the mood for some more urban activities. We spent one day there, and the kids had a fantastic time. We highly recommend this place if you wish to avoid a bustling atmosphere near your accommodation and truly want to experience the charms of Thassos.

The owner is extremely pleasant. Although he does not speak English, he made an effort to have someone present at the time of our arrival who would explain everything to us. We have never received a room ready so early (around 9), which truly meant a lot to us as it allowed us to rest and make the most of the day for swimming. The room is spacious and clean. The kitchen is physically separated, which is quite significant if you use a cooking stove. The yard is spacious, and it was perfect for the children. The view is fantastic and a true balm for the eyes and soul. At any time of the day, you can find a corner with shade. In the morning, it is sunny, but in the afternoon, it is cool, and we did not use the air conditioning even once. There are hardly any mosquitoes, which many have complained about. In the evening, you can even see dolphins in the distance. The bedding is changed every 5 days, and they tidied up and cleaned the entire room for us. The nearby beaches, about 6-7 km away, are suitable for children: Atspas, Pefkari, and Roso Gremos. Tripiti is about a ten-minute walk, but it is not to our taste. It is excellent for diving. The only downside is the road (the uphill) to the accommodation. It is quite steep and challenging to walk up, especially with children when you are carrying "a hundred" things :) It is inconvenient to exit onto the main road by car because the curves are large on both sides, and you really need to be cautious. The road to the beach is not secured for pedestrians, which can be stressful with children as the traffic is quite inappropriate. All in all, ciato, sweet, harmonious with the price, and a peaceful, quiet place for rest.

The owner is friendly, although he does not speak English. The accommodation is average, but exceptionally clean, and the housekeeper is excellent. The incline is a challenge (15 meters of ascent) if you are coming from flat terrain like we did (only in first gear and full throttle 😄). There is a lack of dishes for a family of five, but it is not a major issue. The location is decent; you definitely need to drive to visit the best beaches. The view is outstanding, and the peace and quiet are invaluable.

It boasts an exceptional view of the sea, a phenomenally spacious courtyard with shade and sun loungers, and the beautiful Tripiti beach is just a 5-minute walk from the villa. In a beautiful location, far from the hustle and bustle. The house is positioned on an elevation above the main road, with the sun briefly shining through the windows on the ground floor, so we hardly felt the need to use the air conditioning. The courtyard remains pleasant throughout the day, with a gentle breeze providing refreshment. The view of the sea and Mount Athos in the distance is phenomenal.

I have decided that it is somewhat slow and lacks sufficient utensils. The room is decent, and the beds are also good. The view from the terrace is fantastic. The location is not close to the best beaches, but it's fine; we all come by car :) Driving up is quite steep.

This is our second visit to Mr. Tanazis. The accommodation is tidy and clean; the hosts have limited English skills, but they are exceptionally kind, making it easy to communicate with them regarding any needs. The price is remarkably favorable compared to other options. The courtyard is beautifully landscaped and offers ample natural shade; there are no words to describe the view. The internet works excellently, which is a rarity in Greece. There are some drawbacks, such as the kitchen being less equipped with utensils, slow burners, and the absence of mosquito nets on the terrace doors. However, overall, I believe the fact that we returned is a strong recommendation for the accommodation, and I hope we will visit a third time.

A breathtaking view, kind hosts who do not speak English but are always available to assist with anything needed. A rich courtyard with tables and chairs in the shade, a refrigerator, a shower, a tap, Wi-Fi, and a barbecue. The proximity to Tripiti beach and a good location for visiting other beaches, cleanliness, seclusion, and tranquility... These are all reasons FOR this accommodation, whether for a family vacation (we were two families of four with two children aged 4 to 7), or for a couple's getaway. Some may find the steep ascent for cars and legs and the somewhat modest interior to be drawbacks, but they were not for us. Next to us was an expensive luxury adults-only hotel, whose manager seemed a bit anxious as he shares the entrance, parking, and a wall with us, bothered by the children who play and shout, disturbing his luxury guests. However, that is more his planning issue than a problem with Thanasis studios. All in all, this is a place I highly recommend.

A beautiful accommodation, situated in a calm and quiet place with an extraordinary view. The beach is just 100 meters away from the accommodation. The only drawback is the absence of a screen door on the terrace. Everything else is satisfactory.

An excellent apartment for families, featuring a lovely room, modest bathroom, and kitchen, along with a spacious terrace that offers a magnificent view. The location is decent, and the hosts are kind and pleasant. Tripity beach is nearby, and it’s a quick drive to other beaches. Just a few minutes by car to the supermarket, and a few more minutes to reach Limenarija. We wholeheartedly recommend it! :)

The Thanasis Apartments are situated in an excellent, peaceful, and quiet location with a beautiful view. The apartments are furnished with classic wooden furniture, but this was of little importance to us since we spent minimal time indoors. The WiFi works excellently both in the apartments and in the courtyard. The owners are wonderful people who know only a few words of English, but if you make an effort, you can communicate with them quite well. They are not intrusive, but they will assist you in any case if you need something. In the courtyard, you have access to a shower, sun loungers, a table and chairs, a grill, and a large refrigerator for cooling watermelons, etc. Access to parking may be somewhat traumatic for some, but don't worry, you can exit without any issues. The view is truly incredible, stretching from Potos on the left to Athos on the right; you will enjoy the sight of the sea, boats, and ships. A few hundred meters towards Limenarija, there is a large market that is no cheaper than the others, as well as gas stations and the Iris Gold jewelry factory. The beach in Tripiti is lovely, but for children, only the right side just in front of the hotel is suitable, where the water entry is sandy, while the rest is rocky. Nearby (just a few kilometers away), there are phenomenal beaches that are definitely worth visiting.

Thanasis Studios offers excellent accommodation for the price. The apartments are very tidy and clean, and the spacious yard provides a beautiful view for relaxation. The only drawback of this accommodation is the steep access to the property, which can be quite daunting for inexperienced drivers. Nonetheless, we wholeheartedly recommend this place for a family vacation.

A perfect spot for relaxation, just a few minutes away from the beautiful Trypiti beach, and if you are traveling by your own vehicle, it can serve as an excellent starting point to all the beaches. The owners are incredibly kind and pleasant people, who you will hardly notice during your stay.

Studio Thanasis is an ideal destination for a family vacation. The accommodation is average, but the view of the sea and the surrounding area is truly beautiful. The proximity to Tripiti beach is an excellent combination, and it takes about 5 to 10 minutes to walk there. Sunbeds are charged between 3 to 5 euros, without any additional benefits. A car is essential, considering that Limenraja is a few kilometers away, and Potos is a good 4-5 kilometers further. The apartments should be renovated, and the parking area should be well-lit. During my stay at Thanasis Studios with my family (wife and three young children) from July 4 to July 14, 2015, our initial impressions upon arrival were disappointing. First, the navigation led us, based on the provided coordinates, to an extremely steep and dusty path that was not actually the access to the accommodation, as it came from the back, enclosed side of the building (somehow, the correct access was not marked on the latest Garmin map, while that one was). When we retraced our steps and discovered the actual access (which was paved), our impressions did not improve significantly. The driveway was so steep that I felt I might not be able to reach the property with the car; the parking area we immediately saw was dusty and rocky, with a small hill at the entrance, making it necessary to scrape the underside of almost every slightly lower vehicle (my first thought was how we would manage to leave and return every day). The beach did not seem nearly as close as described. We found no one in the property or its vicinity. We wandered around for a few minutes, then I called the first phone number listed by the entrance to the yard. A somewhat confused Greek answered and explained how to reach him in Limenarija, which is about 2 km away. At that moment, we began to curse both Nikana and the accommodation we had chosen. We went to Limenarija and barely found (if I remember correctly) George Hotel. Soon, the owner appeared, and after a few minutes of conversation, we concluded that he was not the person we were looking for and that he owned the property next to Thanasis (George Studios), but he had a contact number and would immediately call Thanasis. After 5 minutes, the owner of our studio appeared with his wife and daughter; however, none of them spoke a word of English, so we needed George's help again to communicate that we needed to follow them back to the accommodation. At that moment, our frustration reached its peak. We returned to the accommodation, the owner gave us the keys and took us on a small tour to show us the yard, the grill, the outdoor shower, and the proper parking area, which was slightly lower with a much more decent approach, flat and spacious enough (the previous one actually belonged to the other studio). The owners then noted down a contact number with the remark that someone who speaks English would answer there and offered to help us with unloading our luggage, which we politely declined, after which they left. This marked a complete turnaround in our opinion of the accommodation, location, etc. We explored the surroundings ourselves and realized that the view was more than fantastic. The studio was spacious enough with three beds, one of which was a double bed, and one slightly smaller than the double, which was more than sufficient for us. The kitchenette was separate from the main room and surprisingly spacious, considering the typical accommodations of this type in Greece. The bathroom was a bit cramped, which is already customary for Greece, but it was not something that bothered us excessively. The rooms were tidy and clean. The yard had plenty of trees, providing shade in some areas, and there were four tables with complete sets of chairs. The accompanying amenities were not luxurious but entirely sufficient for our needs (Wi-Fi worked quite well, the TV had only Greek channels but one with cartoons, which was the most important thing :) etc.) I realized that the entire property consisted of two parts, meaning it had two owners, the yards were separated by a fence, and the facade colors were different. Everything that had previously annoyed us was a result of our mistakes due to exhaustion after a long journey. I had called the first phone number I saw, even though there was a sign with contact numbers at the entrance to Thanasis Studios, and I had the same number on the voucher I received from Nikana. The detailed description of the studio clearly stated that the access was steep and that there was a sign indicating where to turn, but I had imagined it quite differently. When we descended to the nearest beach, we realized it was literally a 2-minute leisurely walk away, even though it was across the highway, while Tripiti was about 5 minutes away. That beach was not the most convenient due to rocky slabs, but the water was exceptionally clean, and everything else was nicely arranged. We were fortunate that the other three studios were vacant (even at George's) until two days before our departure, allowing us to mostly enjoy the benefits of this accommodation alone. Given that there were no other accommodations nearby, the peace and quiet, interrupted only by the sound of waves, crickets, and the occasional sheep with a bell, were truly irreplaceable. The highway was nearby, but there was almost no traffic at night. Touring all of Thassos, we later realized how unique this accommodation was, as unlike most places that have a view and are in close proximity to the sea, others generally had a hill of similar accommodations around and were teeming with tourists (some may enjoy that, but our primary goal was to relax). The owners appeared every other day for about an hour to water the plants, so there was not much disturbance from their side either. Cleaning the rooms and changing the linens were done twice during our 10-day stay, which was sufficient. The owners were exceptionally kind and polite, especially Thanasis, who appeared to be a simple and warm-hearted older man without that "false" politeness for personal gain. Although he does not speak English, we managed to communicate with him, learning that he is a carpenter by trade, that his son is in the honor guard at the Acropolis, and that he does not like Merkel :) etc. We truly felt sorry for the language barrier as he seemed like someone we would enjoy conversing with more. In conclusion, we wholeheartedly recommend staying at this accommodation due to everything mentioned, as well as the very affordable price (George told us he would never rent out a studio for that price, although I don't see how his accommodation is better, especially considering the parking). Of course, without a car, staying in such accommodation makes little sense as there are no shops nearby, which is likely why the price is lower. Please forgive me for writing so much, but there have been no impressions about this accommodation until now on Nikana's site, and I paid special attention to our arrival since we later witnessed that tourists arriving could not distinguish Thanasis from George Studios, leading to constant misunderstandings. P.S. Also, all recommendations for Nikana, and since we plan to return to Thassos next year, they will be our exclusive choice. Everything was as described, we received detailed instructions before departure, a message on the day of arrival about when and where meetings were held (even though we did not attend any), we saw the vouchers, and we enjoyed the discounts available at many places when mentioning the Nikana agency.
