Possidi Cape

When I think of the beauties of Cassandra, I always remember her western coast. The eastern coast is also beautiful, but commercialized and overcrowded. On the western coast, there are peaceful places like Siviri, Furka, Poseidon, Nea Skioni… The Poseidi Cape is the most unusual place and beach in Cassandra!

A sandy spit stretches deep into the sea, and the waves overlap at the very top of the cape. It often happens that on one side the sea is as calm as glass, while on the other side it rages. Continuing along the cape to the right, one of the most beautiful beaches in Cassandra, Egeopelagitika, stretches out, while on the left side is the charming village of Poseidi. This whole stretch is a true gem of Cassandra and ideal for those who do not like the crowds for which Cassandra is known.

On this beach, you can witness a beautiful sunset, and if you combine a visit to this beach with lunch or dinner at one of the taverns in Poseidi, you will have a perfect day.
