Non-working days for state institutions, as well as banks and some private companies.
The non-working days for the mentioned institutions in 2025 are from Good Friday, 1804, until Easter Monday, 2104. Therefore, the first working day after Easter is Tuesday, 2204.

Holiday working hours of shops and shopping centers

The holiday working hours of shops and shopping centers for Easter, as usual, start 10 days before Easter and include the week before the start of Holy Week, when the shops will be open.

According to the official recommendation of the Chamber of Commerce of Thessaloniki, the working hours of shops during the Easter holidays in 2025 are as follows:

April 10 – 09:00 – 21:00 (Thursday)
April 11 – 09:00 – 21:00 (Friday)
April 12 – 09:00 – 18:00 (Saturday)
April 13 – 11:00 – 18:00 (Sunday)
April 14 – 09:00 – 21:00 (Maundy Monday)
April 15 – 09:00 – 21:00 (Maundy Tuesday)
April 16 – 09:00 – 21:00 (Maundy Wednesday)
April 17 – 09:00 – 21:00 (Maundy Thursday)
April 18 – 09:00 – 15:00 (Good Friday)
April 19 – 09:00 – 15:00 (Holy Saturday)
April 20th – non-working day (Easter)
April 21st – non-working day (Easter Monday)

Cafes, restaurants, and taverns will be open until midnight on Holy Saturday. Most of them will not be open on Easter Sunday, but they will all be open on Easter Monday, April 21.
