Tucked among stone houses, in the quiet part of the village of Sykia, there is Fisherman’s house. A simple and cozy home is a real paradise for those who like privacy and silence. Nearby is the village center with all facilities, so everything except the beach is at your fingertips.

The center of the village is just under 200m away, and there are several taverns, bakeries, pharmacies, post office, shops, butchers, etc. On Saturdays, the part of the main street is closed for a market where fresh fruits, vegetables, fish and seafood can be bought. The beach is a bit further, about 4,7km from the accommodation, so it is better to come with your own vehicle.

The house is small and actually it is a quadruple duplex apartment on the ground floor. It consists of one bedroom, a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a balcony. In the bedroom there is a double bed, and in the living room there is a folding sofa which is a size of a double bed when it’s folded. The living room is passable. The kitchen is small, and besides the basic dishes there is an induction plate and a small fridge. In the bathroom there is a shower with curtain. In front of the house there is a balcony with table, chairs and barbecue. The apartment is air-conditioned, has two TVs and internet.

The house has no yard, only a balcony in front. Also, there is no private parking, but the public one is few steps away.

You will arrive at home if you, after entering the village of Sykia, continue straight, go through the square, and continue straight until you see the Mimoza tavern on the right. You should turn to the street that is right before the restaurant, on the same side of the street. You continue straight to the curve, and as soon as you pass the curve, you turn to the first street to the right and you can park on the right. A few meters above the parking lot, on the right, you will find Fisherman’s house.

If you want to experience Greece in a different way, to really relax, away from noise, then this house is the right place for you!
