Our description

Katerina Pansion is located at the entrance to Ouranoupolis, at a 5-minute walk from the city center and 100 meters from the beach. There are rooms, studios and apartments, capacity for 2-5 persons. The accommodation exudes comfort, cleanliness and quality (last time renovated in April 2018). The accommodation is open throughout the year.

The building is located on a slight elevation, above the highway. The center is about 500m away. The nearest market, bakery and restaurant are 100m away.

The beach is unorganized, sandy with small pebbles (descending the stairs to it). The nearest beach is about 1km away. More about the most beautiful beaches on Athos read here.

The units are set on the ground floor, on the second and third floors. The owners live on the first floor.

On the ground floor there is an apartment and a four-bed studio. The apartment (43m2, without bathroom and veranda) for 4-5 people is located on the ground floor (four steps above) and is ideal for families. It consists of two rooms, with one French or two single beds and a folding armchair. The studio can accommodate up to 4 people, has a French bed and a single bed with a drawer bed. Both units have a well-equipped kitchen with a stove and a large fridge-freezer, a bathroom (with a shower curtain) and a veranda facing the sea.

On the second floor there is one double room and one double and two triple studios, as well as a common room, where you can read or sit at your laptop. The double room (15m2) has two single beds, a small fridge and a terrace with a beautiful view of the sea. The double studio (13m2) has a double bed, kitchenette (stove, sink, small fridge), bathroom (shower with curtain) and terrace. One three-bed studio has three single beds, a bathroom (shower with a curtain) and a terrace where there is a kitchenette with a small fridge. The second three-bed studio (Deluxe, 18m2) has one double bed and one single bed, a kitchenette with a small fridge, a bathroom with a shower and a terrace with a wonderful view of the sea.

On the third floor (attic) there are two studios. The superior studio (27m2) has two single beds and one single with a drawer bed, so it can host up to four people. There is also an equipped kitchen with a stove and a medium-sized refrigerator with a freezer, a bathroom (shower with a curtain) and a terrace with a brick barbecue. From the terrace there is a great and colorful view of Ouranopolis. The second studio (15m2) has a standard French bed and a slightly larger single bed, an equipped kitchen (mini-stove and large fridge with freezer), a bathroom (shower with a curtain) and a spacious terrace with an incredible view of the sea.

All units are air-conditioned, have a TV, internet, hairdryer and a terrace with awning. There is also a tap at guests' disposal. A crib can be obtained on request but can not fit in every unit.

The accommodation also has a front desk, which is on call during the day.

Cleaning of the units as well as the replacement of towels and linen is done every three days.

Private parking is not provided, but guests can park nearby.

Owners description

At the entrance of Ouranoupolis, before the secular meet the ascetic life, there's the pension Katerina, a family property that combines the high standards of service and promises you relaxing and carefree holidays. It's a boarding house, known for its cleanliness, excellent views of Drenia and Ammouliani island and the feeling of hospitality that distinguishes their owners.

At 50m from the hotel, there's a supermarket, restaurant, all day café bar and a bus stop. The beach is at just two minutes, which is manifested by the breathtaking sea view from the rooms. Pension customers are able to visit the island Ammouliani, the only uninhabited island on Halkidiki, Drenia islands, with a tavern and beach bar, as well as the Mount Athos, with daily trips from the harbour. Also, there is a possibility of pre-arranged transportation for the visitors and daily excursions with the private boat.

Our guesthouse offers four rooms, two spacious apartments and one loft studio.

The double rooms are on the second floor and have a balcony. Each double room includes two single beds, A/C, TV, bathroom with shower, toiletries and a hairdryer.

Triple rooms are located on the second floor. Each triple room has one double and a single bed, A/C, TV refrigerator, coffee maker, electric hob, bathroom with shower, toiletries and a hairdryer. The kitchen is located just outside the room, it's fully equipped and shared by two rooms. The triple rooms have balconies with a wonderful sea view.

The only room on the third floor includes one double, a single (1,20m) and an armchair bed. A separate room, with its own kitchen, fully equipped with oven and fridge, spacious bathroom and large balcony, with the most breathtaking view that you ever dreamed of!

The apartments are located on the ground floor, they have a balcony with a view and consist of two rooms, with one double bed and two single beds and an armchair bed. They can comfortably accommodate 4-5 people and have a fully equipped kitchen with microwave and large fridge, as well as a bathroom with shower, toiletries and a hairdryer. Apartments are ideal for hosting a family.
