Our description

Maro House is located on the beach in Kalamitsi and, in our opinion, it's one of the best choices in this place. The apartments have a fantastic sea view. The beach is sandy, with beautiful fine sand and extremely clean sea. It provides a pleasant vacation with an excellent price and quality ratio, the accommodation is extremely clean and the owner is very kind.

As part of the house there is a tavern, but very near are other features too.

Maro House is a new villa and it consists of two buildings with eight accommodation units.

The first building is in the first row to the sea, with a tavern on the ground floor and four apartments (28m2) on the first floor. All apartments have a separate balcony with a sea view. One is triple, while the other three are quadruple. The triple apartment has a separate kitchen and the bedroom with one double and a single bed. Quadruple apartments have a bedroom with one double bed and an optional auxiliary bed, and a kitchen with bunk beds.

The second building is located just behind the first one. It has four triple studios (20m2) with a double and a single bed.

Studios and apartments are air-conditioned, they have a TV, internet, kitchen, fridge, hotplates, bathroom with a shower tray, but without curtain. Accommodation units (except for the kitchen that is maintained by the guests) are cleaned every 3-4 days, with bed linen and towels replacement at the same time.

Private parking is provided for seven cars.

Turn off the main road at the sign-post for Kalamitsi and drive down till you reach the beach. After you pass by the hotel Didakis, drive for another 200m until you reach the Zorbas tavern which is part of Maro House.

The great advantage of this accommodation is hygiene at a high-level, extremely receptive and friendly owners, as well as the perfect location on the beach and close to one of the most beautiful beaches in Halkidiki. Balconies are very comfortable, so you can enjoy there with your family.

Owner description

We welcome you to our brand new accommodation constituted by seven coastal apartments (four double and three quadruple). Our group is located 15m from the sea of settlement Kalamitsi in south-eastern utmost the second leg in Ηalkidiki (Sithonia). All rooms are equipped with full kitchen equipment (without furnace), air conditioning, individual bathroom and television.

We offer holidays in rented rooms near nature, in a place with new installations (foundation 2008), located in Kalamitsi, Sithonia, Halkidiki, protected from "NATURA 2000", a place with natural beauty, far from the city noise and next to an amazing sea, that will charm you.

All quadruple apartments have a sea view.

Kalamitsi is an extremely beautiful district in the south-eastern of Sithonia peninsula, about 160km far from Thessaloniki. Kalamitsi is a well-known summer riviera having beautiful blue sea and a sandy beach. Although Kalamitsi mainly offers quiet, calm and relaxing vacations, nearby resorts, like Sarti (20km) and N. Marmaras (40km), offer a more active nightlife. A Kalamitsi visitor can find a supermarket, bars, kiosks, beach bars, taverns and fast food restaurants.

Sykia, Sarti and Neos Marmaras have post offices, while in Kalamitsi you can only find post boxes. Bank offices can be found in Neos Marmaras. Also, there are ATMs in Sarti and Sykia.

Cancellation and payment policy

Deposit of 20% is required to confirm the reservation. Remaining balance should be payed first day upon arrival. If cancelled 21 or more days prior to arrival, paid money will be fully refunded. If cancelled at any time later, paid money is non-refundable. In the case of early departure, 50% of remaining days will be charged.

*If a refund of the deposit is possible, the shipping costs are borne by the guest. The amount of costs depends on the method of sending and the bank.
