Porto Koufo Resort is a tranquil residential complex located just 180 meters from the beach of Porto Koufo in Sithonia, the second leg of Halkidiki. Porto Koufo literally translates as Deaf Port, the name arising from the fact that Koufo is the safest port in the northern Aegean thanks to the significant depth and shielding from the open sea.
The Porto Koufo Resort is located opposite the entrance of the port and impresses with its traditional architecture, stone arches, paved roads and terraces. The estate grounds are based within a natural amphitheatre environment on a number of terraces. The estate is spread out over a fabulous area of 35,000 square meters, of which 5,000 are landscaped as a stunning garden with lawn, rock gardens and palm trees. There are also apple, pear, lemon, apricot, peach, cherry, olive and two plane trees that generously offer their shade and coolness.
The pool (8x12m) is located on the second terrace and is secured with a protective net for children. The pool terrace includes sunbeds, umbrellas, chairs and tables where guests can relax and enjoy coffee, juices and light snacks. The higher terraces overlook the vineyard and all the property is certified by DIO (Certification & Inspection Organization of Organic Products) as an organic farm. The complex is surrounded by woodland (pine trees, etc.).
The guests of the seven furnished apartments can enjoy the uninterrupted idyllic views, landscaped gardens with lawn, palm trees and rock gardens blooming, all within 100 meters of the golden sandy beach and the picturesque tavernas of Porto Koufo.The residential complex offers guests different options covering all needs and tastes.
At our guests’ disposal, there are comfortable couches, chairs, tables and sunbeds. The pool terrace includes an outdoor shower area, a BBQ, a traditional stone oven for baking or cooking with wood and a big freezer. There are beautiful spots everywhere on the estate for relaxing or sunbathing.
WiFi internet is available not only in the public areas but also inside the houses, free of charge. Guests are also welcome to use the copy and fax machine. There is parking space for cars and boat parking is possible on request. For larger vessels, the port of Porto Koufo is a very good option, given that it is the largest and safest natural harbour in Greece. Upon request, we can make all the necessary preparations for departure (cleaning, gasoline, water and supplies).
Our little friends are in a completely safe environment and they have a marvellous play area with a wooden garden house for children up to eight years, children’s bicycles, board games, library, and DVDs are available. The natural environment is ideal for very young children and especially for their first steps! Also available for babies are a high chair, bath, playpen, wooden cot and a stroller (upon request).
Finally, depending on the time of stay, guests can participate in a variety of rural activities such as planting, cultivating, taking care of vegetable gardens and harvesting (olives for oil and eating, grapes for wine and tsipourο, etc.)
As for the housekeeping, cleaning and change of linens and towels (both once a week) are included in the price. For the houses that have no washing machine, laundry is available at no extra charge.
The peninsula of Sithonia, the second leg as locals call it, but also the entire Halkidiki area is famous for its excellent golden beaches and stunning water quality. Respect to the environment is confirmed with standards established by the EU: for 2014, 30 beaches were certified with a Blue Flag, with 10 of them being located in the Municipality of Sithonia. Many of these beaches are close to the Resort, making it the ideal starting point for your excursions.

- In-house accommodations: We love making you feel welcome, so start your vacation with a complimentary drink. Apartments are equipped with all the necessary means to make you feel as comfortable as home. Each apartment has bed linen and towels, air-condition, TV/DVD, hairdryer, fully equipped kitchen with oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, toaster, blender, kettle, pots, pans and utensils. We can also provide you with beach umbrellas and mini beach chairs.

Amaryllis is the second-floor apartment (80m2) on the pool terrace, it can accommodate 2-4 people. The apartment has a big living room with a double sofa bed and a dining area, spacious kitchen with new appliances and fully equipped with cooking utensils and cutlery, an air-conditioned bedroom with double bed and a bathroom with bathtub and washing machine. All windows are double glazed and have mosquito nets. The lounge gives way to a wonderful balcony with two large couches, dining table and a stone barbecue. The balcony has an indescribable view of the Porto Koufo bay, the pool, the gardens of the complex and the surrounding hills. It’s ideal for couples, but it can also accommodate families with children.
Camelia is the first floor apartment (95m2) on the pool terrace, it can accommodate 4-6 people. It features two air-conditioned bedrooms with double beds, living room with a dining table and an extra single bed, separate fully equipped kitchen (big refrigerator, cooker, cooking utensils and cutlery) and bathroom with bathtub. All the windows have mosquito nets and are double glazed. The balcony running right around the apartment offers a wonderful view of the sea, the pool and the gardens of the estate. It’s ideal for families as well as for couples.
Gardenia is the ground floor apartment (95m2) on the pool terrace. It consists of two bedrooms, one with a double bed and a pool view and the other with two single beds. There’s a large air-conditioned sitting area with two more single beds, separate kitchen fully equipped (refrigerator, cooker, utensils and cutlery and dining table) and two bathrooms with shower. The apartment has got the exclusive use of an outside terraced area with another big dining table. All the windows are double glazed and the bedrooms have ceiling fans. It’s ideal for families as well as for groups of friends.
Daphnia is the ground floor apartment (80m2) on the pool terrace. It consists of two bedrooms (one of them air-conditioned, the other one with ceiling fan) with a double bed, a sitting area with a sofa-bed and a dining table, an open plan kitchen fully equipped (refrigerator, cooker, big dishwasher, utensils and cutlery) and a bathroom with washing machine. The living room offers a panoramic view of the pool area. The apartment has also got the exclusive use of an outside terraced area with another dining table and a stone BBQ. Magnolia is the first-floor apartment (200m2) on the pool terrace. Since the property is built into the hill, Magnolia’s entrance is on the ground floor whilst the balconies are on the first floor. The apartment has a large (80m2) living room with stone detailing on the wall, with comfortable couches in the sitting area and a dining area. It’s decorated with furniture of distinct aesthetic which make it stand out. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with all the electrical appliances (big refrigerator, cooker, dishwasher and washing machine), cooking utensils cutlery and another dining table. The apartment features an air-conditioned master bedroom (30m2) with a WC with shower and private balcony with partial sea and pool view. There are two more air-conditioned bedrooms with double beds and another big bathroom with bathtub. All the windows are double glazed. The lounge gives way to a balcony running right around the apartment with superb views of the sea, pool and gardens of the resort. It’s ideal for big families and for groups of friends.
Rosalia is a semi-detached house (170m2) at the garden level (ground floor 130m2, first floor 40m2 with a 15m2 balcony). It’s on the garden level and it can accommodate 8-12 people. The basic elements that dominate the house are stone and wood. The ground floor comprises of an air-conditioned living room and two bedrooms. The ground floor also includes a separate large kitchen and dining area and two WCs (one with shower). The large air-conditioned bedroom is a family room which has a double and bunk beds (three beds for children aged five years and up) and the small bedroom with the ceiling fan has a double bed. The living room also has two sofa beds. The large kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils as well as electrical appliances (large refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and washing machine). Following the wooden staircase to the first floor, we find two air-conditioned bedrooms with double beds, a bathroom with shower and another small sitting room that leads to a balcony with magnificent views of the sea and the gardens. On the balcony, there is a table for four people. All windows are double glazed and have mosquito screens. It’s ideal for large families or groups.
Sterlitsia is the ground floor apartment (95m2) at the garden level that can accommodate 4-6 people. The apartment features a large living room with two sofa beds, open-plan kitchen with dining area, two air-conditioned bedrooms with double beds (one of them is queen size) and a big beautifully tiled bathroom with a bathtub. The kitchen corner is fully equipped with cooking utensils as well as with new electrical appliances (stove, large refrigerator, and washing machine in the bathroom). The wooden Indian furniture combined with the blue ceramics creates a very relaxed and cozy atmosphere. All windows are double glazed. The apartment is ideal for couples and for families with young or older children.

Prices are per room per night. Air conditioner usage is included in the price. There are no fixed dates. You can choose the dates of arrival and departure. Send us an email to see if there is any discount for periods longer than two weeks.
Overnight stay tax is not included in prices.

Cancellation and payment policy
Deposit of 30% of total price of the reservation is required to confirm a booking. The remaining balance will be paid first day upon arrival. If a guest arrives after the arrival date of the reservation or if he leaves before the departure date of the reservation, property owner keeps the right to charge the total price of the reservation. If cancelled up to 21 days before the date of arrival, deposit will be refunded, less administrative fee which in most cases is 35€ but could be more (depending on bank). If cancelled later, or in case of no-show, deposit will not be refunded.
