The apartments are clean, but the location is not ideal. For four people, the "French" bed is small, so we had to combine it with a bunk bed to comfortably accommodate three children. The kitchen is quite modest, with only a few plates and the cutlery is old, almost rusting. The bathroom is fine - there is no shower curtain, so every time after showering, water collects all over the bathroom. There is always hot water and the water pressure is good. The woman at the reception does not speak English, so we communicated with gestures on the first day. Bring your own toilet paper, as you will find only one roll waiting for you. Overall, for the money we paid, it is acceptable. They could improve on small details like the kitchen, cutlery, etc.

As for the church bells, they ring on Sundays and holidays at 7 AM. It's not too bad. The mosquitoes were only seen in our room, and we were on the upper floor, while there were millions of them outside. The accommodation is close to the central part of the beach, which is an excellent location. In a narrow street away from the house, there's a butcher shop 20 meters down the road to the right, a doctor 20 meters down the street towards the beach, and a supermarket right by the beach. All in all, it's very good.

Here’s the thing... The villa meets my requirements, located just two minutes from the beach, with a butcher shop as the first establishment next to it, and a market only a minute away. The barbecue in the yard is functional and frequently used by the villa's members, and the owners generously provide charcoal, which is commendable. The beautiful garden is adorned with greenery and flowers. There is secure parking available for the villa's guests. All windows are equipped with mosquito nets, and the air conditioning was included in the price, which is a significant advantage. The room is small but adequately functional for a ten-day stay. The landlady, Stela, is kind and always willing to help. Now, let me address the drawbacks: there are fifteen rooms in the villa, and the sound insulation is lacking; you can hear the neighbor's thoughts, there is no house rule, and doors bang and slam throughout the day. Another issue that bothered us was the church located right next to the villa on the hill; before 7 AM, the bell rings loudly enough to rattle the windows, and the service lasts a full three hours, amplified by loudspeakers outside the church, making it very noisy. Everything else was fine, without any issues, and it will remain a pleasant memory for us.

Average accommodation. The beach is a 2-minute walk away. The terrace is shaded in the morning, while the sun shines in the afternoon. The gallery leading to the apartment faces east, making it more pleasant in the afternoon. Some essentials are missing (soap dish, limited dish selection, worn-out cherries and spoons, a few small clips).

Considering that quality accommodation in this area is quite expensive, this could be regarded as an affordable option. The bed is very comfortable and long enough for tall individuals. There is a mosquito net on the terrace door, but it does not provide complete protection. It is essential not to go without tablets or any other means of protection. There was always hot water, and the internet worked excellently; all in all, you get what you pay for.

The location is excellent, just 100 meters from the beach, and a well-stocked store is also 100 meters away. In the same street, about 20-30 meters away, there is a gyros place. Internet access is available throughout the studio, but not outside. The kitchen is modest but entirely satisfactory. The bathroom is clean, and the terrace is fine.

We are satisfied with the accommodation, which is modest but clean. It includes a fully equipped kitchen, mosquito nets, and the balcony doors can be locked. The air conditioning and internet work excellently, and the landlady even offered us a beach umbrella, although we did not need it. During our ten-day stay, the studio was thoroughly cleaned once, and the bed linens and towels were changed. The landlady is kind and strives to meet the guests' requests. The beds are slightly shorter than standard, which may be an issue for those taller than 180 cm. The location is excellent: two houses down, there is a place selling gyros and fast food, and a well-stocked store is about a hundred meters away, along with a nicely arranged beach. Toroni is a place with beautiful beaches and sea, which is the most important aspect for a seaside holiday, especially Destenika, which impressed us. There are also taverns, restaurants, and beach bars, so our overall impressions of the vacation are excellent.
