The accommodation has been renovated and is very modern. The location is excellent, with a beautiful beach. The food is satisfactory, though somewhat monotonous.

PROPERTY The accommodation is exceptionally well-designed, yet not suitable for this type of stay. There is a lack of storage space for everything, from clothing to cosmetics and footwear. It resembles a lodging for business travelers who have brought two suits and have full board at their disposal, merely using it to sleep for a few nights. The third bed is exceedingly small and uncomfortable. There is no sink in the bathroom; it is located in the room, in the area where the so-called kitchen (stove and coffee maker) is, so you end up brushing your teeth and washing your coffee cup in the same spot. To the left are your cups and glasses, and to the right are toothbrushes... not very pleasant. The alternative is to carry your cups and glasses to the shared kitchen and wash them there, but then you also have to take the dish soap and sponge. It is excellent that there is always hot water, a great parking space is provided, you receive a mosquito repellent device, and you have nets and a awning on the terrace... It is clean, tidy both in the property and around it. The owner is present throughout the day and available. The staff is polite and unobtrusive. Special praise goes to Kosta from the beach bar, who has an exceptional sense of humor and plays excellent music. It is a pleasure to have coffee with him. The shared kitchen is something we used for the first time this year, and it is a nice moment because you bond and get to know most of the guests there. It has everything you need, and it all functions well. BEACH A small beautiful beach, but it is not exclusively for guests of the property. The owner should impose some order here. The principle seems to be "I've been here five times already, and this is my sunbed, even if I haven't spent the whole day on the beach but went to another one." It could be organized in such a way that leaving towels for 10 days without moving them is not allowed. The sea... poor. A long shallow area means no swimming, only splashing. It is not very clean either. We realized that the entire Vurvuru is like this. It is excellent that children are completely safe and free to run around the yard and splash without worry. Honestly, we had a good time, but we couldn't spend our vacation the way we envisioned; instead, we sought nice sea and swimming at other beaches, which made the accommodation on our own beach lose its meaning. I believe the price is too high for what is overall offered at this place. The final impression is that Vurvuru, as a whole, is merely a good base for excursions, and we initially misjudged our choice of location.

Renovated, it looks great, but the service is below par. Cleaning is infrequent - they cleaned twice in two weeks; there are ants as much as you like. The breakfast is monotonous. The owner is unfriendly. The beach is private, there are at least some free sunbeds, but that's all - we did not spend time on it. All in all - we will not be returning again :|

The accommodation is decent, the owner's kindness is excellent, the parking space is well arranged, and the adherence to house rules is outstanding.

A beautiful little complex by the shore, perfectly clean. The apartments are spacious and tidy. The owner is friendly. Truly a magical place for a getaway.

The rooms are small, and the bathroom is likewise. In the shower cabin, you can't even turn around. In the kitchen, instead of space for four, there is only room for two. Cleanliness is not at a commendable level; there were hairs in the shower cabin and on the terrace. Ants are also present on the terrace. The beach is the reason we came, but it turned out to be a great disappointment. The beach is dirty, and the sea is as well. The grass that the waves bring in is not cleaned by anyone, so people and children carry it into the sea with their feet.

Everything you need is in one place. A beautiful beach, free sun loungers, a beach bar, hospitable hosts, a decent breakfast, and covered parking for cars. We will definitely come back!

The apartments are small, indeed very small, suitable for a maximum of two people. The host, Makis, is not particularly friendly; in fact, he can be quite unfriendly, although he does make an effort to assist when called upon. Externally, the property is attractive, featuring lovely terraces, a courtyard, and parking.

Poor accommodation assessment... The location is excellent, but the beach is dirty, littered with dog feces, and hasn't been cleaned in 15 days. Sun loungers are available for free, but you must consume drinks from the beach bar (not your own). There was no hot water in our apartment, and the water pressure was extremely weak. Of course, there is no internet. The room is too small (even though we requested and reserved an apartment) for four beds crammed closely together. The breakfast is standard, acceptable, but served by the "owner" without a shirt and with a cigarette in his mouth... All in all, the price-to-quality ratio is disastrous; my recommendation - definitely not! Most people comment that it is excellent for small children, but do they mention that children and even adults are bathing in the grass found in the water, which is the same color as our Danube, Sava, Drina...

Every morning for breakfast, we have eggs. It often happens that there is no space in the restaurant, so we wait outside with our children. The WiFi usually doesn’t work, the beach is poorly maintained, and the chairs and umbrellas are falling apart. However, the biggest problem is the owner, Nikos, who is unpleasant and indifferent to any issues. His response to everything is, "What can I do?" and he simply shrugs. At Haus Platanos, there are many dissatisfied people, but everyone remains silent because the children are happy, playing and enjoying themselves, while the rest are just adult problems.

The location was quite favorable, even though it was situated at one end of Vourvourou. The private beach was delightful, featuring excellent water conditions for children. However, the owner displayed a somewhat rude and grumpy demeanor. Breakfast was satisfactory, yet monotonous as it remained the same each day. The rooms were rather small and furnished with outdated furniture.

The Platanos house is situated in an ideal location, where families with children can truly enjoy themselves; it is a real paradise. If you appreciate a peaceful vacation, this place is a perfect choice. For those who wish to take a stroll, you can drive to Nikiti, which is 10 km away. We also visited Sarti and Neos Marmaras, both about half an hour's drive. The village next to Vourvourou, Ormos Panagias, offers excellent fish that you can purchase until around noon—fresh, either from the sea or from farms—and then prepare it in the villa's accommodation, which features a fantastic summer grill always at your disposal. From the terrace, you can watch the children swimming in the sea; the shallow area is long, making it ideal for less experienced swimmers and children. However, for those who enjoy deeper waters, the mentioned village boasts the beautiful Trani Ammoda beach, which is long, sandy, and deep. All in all, there is something for everyone; my advice is to enjoy a bit of peaceful relaxation followed by visits to the wild, stunning beaches, as it would be a shame to miss out on them if you have come to Sithonia. You can rent a boat; we did so through Paradiso Travel, which I highly recommend, located just a 2-3 minute walk from our accommodation along the beach. As two families, we were able to rent it for 140 euros, plus an additional 20 euros for fuel. The boat is new, though all of them are new, and we explored the beautiful Diaporos island, which is an experience to cherish all day long—don’t miss it. This is our third trip to Sithonia via Nikana, and I am sure there will be many more. Enjoy, relax, and recharge your batteries, as Sithonia can offer you that.

Situated in a beautiful location with a lovely garden and a cozy beach, the apartments are small, and it occasionally happens that not everyone is particularly friendly. However, the atmosphere that characterizes this place, brought by the guests, is what keeps us coming back. Here, both we and the children feel at home, enjoying every moment.

The location of the property is perfect, situated right by the beach, so you don’t have to carry many things with you; in just half a minute, you can hop back to the apartment and grab whatever you need. There is natural shade, which is a significant advantage when vacationing with small children. Additionally, the kids can easily find playmates in the yard of the house, while parents can relax on the terrace as their children play. The staff is friendly and always willing to accommodate guests.

The proximity to the beach, which is right in front of the accommodation, along with free sun loungers and umbrellas, is a significant advantage. Additionally, there are showers with hot water next to the beach. Furthermore, each vehicle has a designated covered parking space visible from every terrace. The breakfast is satisfactory.

I have never been a fan of vacationing in the same place for years, but I can see that we will be spending our summers here for at least the next 17 years! :D It is a wonderful place for parents with children. If you are going to the seaside with babies, this is the perfect choice; you won't regret it! :)

The breakfast included in the price fully meets the needs of an average person. There is a bar on the beach offering coffee, drinks, ice cream, and friendly bartenders. During our stay, the room was cleaned twice. The amenities in the apartment are of high quality: stove, oven, large refrigerator, kettle, air conditioning, and a crib for the baby. However, the beds are uncomfortable, and the apartments are small for four people. The internet could be better. Overall, we are satisfied with the accommodation and would recommend it to everyone.

An ideal place for a peaceful and relaxing holiday with children.

An excellent accommodation by the beach, perfect for families with children. The owner is a very pleasant person. The breakfast is served as a buffet and the selection is outstanding. It is served right by the sea. The rooms are clean.

Advantages: The accommodation is perfect for families with small children. The beach is sandy, shallow at around 20 meters, and there are showers with warm water available on the beach. There are plenty of activities for children. There is always shade on the beach, and it is never crowded. Sun loungers are always available. We never locked the apartment; everything was left wide open, and everything was in its place, safe and sound. It is far from the main road. Disadvantages: The rooms are small, and there is limited space for clothing. To get to the terrace, one must pass through the room from the kitchen. If someone wants peace during the day, they won't find it due to the children's noise, but after 10 PM, there is complete tranquility and silence. There is little grass in the sea, which is covered with sand, so you cannot walk on the grass, but it peeks out from the sand. There are no promenades; you must drive to the nearest place if you want an evening stroll. We have a 2-year-old child, and we will definitely go back there next year, despite all these drawbacks :)

We stayed in Platanos from September 2nd to September 13th, 2016, in a four-bed sea bungalow on a bed and breakfast basis. We were pleased with the accommodation, which was quite spacious, featuring a bedroom with a large bed and ample room for, say, two additional children's cribs. The terrace in front of the bungalow was also spacious. The beach is lovely, equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas that are, of course, free of charge. The breakfast was satisfactory. The yard is well-maintained, and there is a covered parking area within the premises. It is ideal for families with children and for anyone seeking a more peaceful holiday. I would definitely return :) The only downside for me was the absence of a shelf in the bathroom to place all the necessary items; instead, we had to put them on the sink, which, fortunately, is larger. There are no hooks for towels. The kitchen lacks a dish drainer and cutlery, but they will likely address these minor issues by the next season :) In any case, I highly recommend this property, especially for families with young children.

Three beads, a small garden bungalow, is an exceedingly cramped accommodation for three people. I believe it was originally designed for two, with an extra bed squeezed into the kitchen. I cannot recommend it! The accordion door to the restroom and the sliding door to the room allow every sound to be heard. Everything else is satisfactory.
