Accommodation description

If you are searching for accommodation on the beach, with natural shade and gradual depth because of children, Platanos House is a great choice for you. This complex is built in the spacious yard in Vourvourou where is enough space for playing, relaxing on the beach or in the bar, and kind staff is there to help you with anything you might need. The accommodation is located 600m from the nearest supermarket and approximately 2km from the town center.

Triple and quadruple rooms are available on the ground floor and the first floor, while the five-bed rooms are located on the ground floor. Triple rooms are furnished with one double bed and a sofa, quadruple rooms with one double bed and a sofa for two persons, while the five-bed rooms feature one double bed, a sofa for two persons, and one armchair bed.

Double studios are located on the ground floor and can accommodate up to two adults. They consist of a sleeping area with a kitchenette and a bathroom and are furnished with one double bed.

The apartments consist of a living room with a kitchen, one bedroom, and a bathroom, except for some five-bed apartments, which do not have a kitchen.

The three-bed apartment is located on the ground floor and can accommodate up to three adults. It is furnished with one double bed in the bedroom and a sofa for one person in the living room.

The four-bed apartments are located on the ground floor and can accommodate up to four adults. They feature one double bed in the bedroom and a sofa for two persons in the living room. Some have a garden view, while others offer a side sea view.

The three renovated one-bedroom apartments (one on the ground floor and two on the first floor) feature a sofa for two persons and an armchair bed in the living room, along with one double bed in the bedroom, allowing them to accommodate up to five guests. These apartments and the renovated rooms are equipped with a single-burner electric hot plate, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, a kettle, and kitchenware, but they do not have kitchen cabinets or a sink, so guests can prepare meals in the shared kitchen, where they can also use a stove and a sink.

One five-bed bungalow with a garden view is slightly larger and can accommodate up to five guests, as it is furnished with two large sofas, each suitable for two persons.

All accommodation units are air-conditioned and equipped with WiFi, a TV, and a hair dryer. Except for the renovated rooms and the three renovated apartments, all other accommodation units have a kitchen equipped for preparing light meals, including a large refrigerator and a toaster. Some units also have a kettle and a coffee maker.

Each accommodation unit has a separate terrace furnished with a table and chairs. Most terraces are covered with an awning.

Cleaning, as well as towel and linen changes, is provided every two days. A shared washing machine is also available and can be used upon agreement with the owner for an additional charge. Pets are allowed upon prior agreement with the owner.

The spacious yard offers plenty of parking space, a shared kitchen with two stoves, a small children’s playground, and a barbecue area. Guests can also moor their boat for an additional fee, depending on its size. In addition to free sunbeds and umbrellas, there is also a beach bar. Breakfast is served from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

Drive along the main road through Vourvourou, and about 600m after entering the village, you will see the sign and the turn-off for Platanos House on your left.

For families looking to enjoy the beach and a peaceful location, which is also an excellent base for exploring the surrounding beaches, Platanos House is an excellent choice.

The accommodation enjoys an ideal beachfront location, with free, comfortable sun loungers and a beach bar that operates all day (drinks, ice cream, etc.). It is tranquil and wonderfully suited for a relaxing getaway.

Booking and cancellation terms

Deposit of 30% is required to confirm the reservation. Remaining balance should be payed first day upon arrival. If cancelled 21 or more days prior to arrival, paid money will be fully refunded. If cancelled at any time later, paid money is non-refundable. In the case of early departure, 50% of remaining days will be charged.
