Accommodation description

If you are searching for accommodation on the beach, with natural shade and gradual depth because of children, Platanos House is a great choice for you. This complex is built in the spacious yard in Vourvourou where is enough space for playing, relaxing on the beach or in the bar, and kind staff is there to help you with anything you might need.

The closest supermarket is at 600m, and the city center is about 2km away.

Platanos House has 20 accommodation units.

Four triple and six quadruple renovated rooms are located on the first floor and ground floor. Triple rooms have one double bed and a folding armchair, while quadruple rooms have one double bed and a sofa bed. Three renovated one-bedroom apartments (one on the ground floor and two on the first floor) have a sofa bed for two and a folding armchair in the living room, and one double bed in the bedroom, so their maximum capacity is five people. These apartments and rooms have a hot plate with one burner, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, and kitchenware, but do not have kitchenettes and sinks, so guests can cook in the shared kitchen. In the shared kitchen, they can also use the stove and sink.

Four quadruple bungalows (listed as quadruple apartments), two with a side sea view and two with a courtyard view, have one double bed in the bedroom and two sofa beds in the kitchen area. One smaller, triple bungalow (listed as triple apartment) has one double bed in the bedroom, while the kitchen area has one sofa. One five-bed bungalow with a courtyard view is slightly larger, so it can accommodate up to five people, as the sofas are large (each for two people).

All accommodation units are air-conditioned, have internet, TV, mosquito nets, and a safety deposit box. Except for the renovated rooms and three apartments, all other accommodation units have a kitchenette equipped for preparing light meals with a large refrigerator, as well as a bathroom with a shower, curtain, and hairdryer, while in the renovated accommodation units, the shower area is partitioned with glass or a small wall. Each accommodation unit has a separate terrace with a table and chairs for sitting. Most accommodation units have an awning on the terrace.

Cleaning, as well as replacement of towels and bed linen, is done after two days. A shared washing machine can be used in agreement with the owner and with an additional charge. Pets are allowed upon agreement with the owner.

In the large courtyard, there are plenty of parking space, a small children’s playground and a barbecue. Guests can moor their boat, but this incurs an additional charge depending on its size. Beside free umbrellas and sunbeds on the beach, there’s a beach bar. Breakfast is served from 08:30 till 11:30.

In order to reach the accommodation, drive on the main road in Vourvourou and after 600m from the entering the place, you’ll see the sign for turning towards Platanos House.

For families who want to enjoy themselves on the beach, in a quiet location also great for visiting nearby beaches, Platanos House is an excellent choice.

The accommodation enjoys an ideal beachfront location, with free, comfortable sun loungers and a beach bar that operates all day (drinks, ice cream, etc.). It is tranquil and wonderfully suited for a relaxing getaway.

Booking and cancellation terms

Deposit of 30% is required to confirm the reservation. Remaining balance should be payed first day upon arrival. If cancelled 21 or more days prior to arrival, paid money will be fully refunded. If cancelled at any time later, paid money is non-refundable. In the case of early departure, 50% of remaining days will be charged.
