One of the most beautiful summer vacations. The hosts are exceptionally kind. The food in their tavern is of high quality and delicious. The beach is spacious, with fine sand and nearby. The water is clean. The rooms are tidy, but small. They change the bed linen every three days and the towels every five days. We became such good friends with the owner that we felt sad to leave, rather than that the vacation was over. I haven't met such an interesting person in a long time. The WiFi is good.

Additionally, there is a traditional restaurant to the right of the hotel, offering reasonable prices and the opportunity to enjoy live Greek music every Sunday. The owners and staff are proficient in English. The area is tranquil, allowing us to fully relish our stay. The owners are exceptionally friendly and accommodating; they greeted us with refreshing cold juices for the children, and upon our departure, we were presented with a charming handmade soap featuring an image of Limenaria port. We wholeheartedly recommend Halkias Studios and will undoubtedly return here with great pleasure!

Regarding accommodation, everything is precisely described on the website. However, concerning meals, it is necessary to adjust the pricing: breakfast - 7 euros; lunch - 10 euros per adult.

The price for a meal that used to be €5 is no longer valid; it is now €7. The food is excellent, but the breakfast for two at €14 is overpriced, considering it includes only two to four eggs, one tomato, and two small toast sandwiches. While lunch is exceptionally tasty, everything is always fresh. They should invest a few euros in the accommodation; the faucets are leaking, the bathroom curtain has blackened at the bottom from mold, and the walls are hollow; you can hear when someone unlocks the door on the second floor... But honestly, for that money, you can't expect miracles... When the tavern is crowded, parking must be sought on the highway around the accommodation. Towel changes and room cleaning occur every three days. Booking accommodation is cheaper through Nikana than directly through the owner, at least according to what we've heard from other guests.

Halkias Studios is a place where we spent eight nights in July 2022, staying in apartment 6, which is designed for two people. The terrace offered a stunning view of the sea. The studio is small, but perfectly adequate for a comfortable stay for two. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped. During our eight-night stay, they changed our linens and towels three times. Parking is available in front of the house. The center of Limenarija is 2 km away, and it took us about ten minutes to walk there. An excellent balance of price and quality, and we will definitely return.

If you are not seeking luxury, this is the perfect place for a getaway and offers everything you genuinely need for a ten-day retreat. The owners are wonderful people, and I have nothing but praise for them. Literally, you can reach out to them for anything you might need, and they will resolve every issue. During our eight-night stay, they changed our linens twice, and every other day they wiped the floors and cleaned the bathroom and terrace. You have your own parking space, and there is a slide and other fun activities for children in the yard. I wholeheartedly recommend this place, and I would gladly return here.

The best accommodation in a tranquil location, everything is beautiful.

For two consecutive years, we have spent our summer vacation at Sakis's place. I can only say wonderful things about him and his daughter, who has been managing everything since 2021. The pictures in the presentation are outdated, which may create a misleading impression of the apartments. The villa is located in such a way that you can quickly reach all the beaches, and if you don’t feel like driving somewhere, it’s enough to cross the main road, and the entire beach is yours. On weekends, there is live music at the tavern below the apartments. The tavern operates until 5 AM, so there is no noise or commotion in the evening. When we go back to Thassos, it will definitely be at Sakis's place, as they truly deserve our trust. We also stayed in apartments in Potos and paid double the price for 15 days of vacation compared to Sakis's. The difference lies not in the price or the quality of the apartment's comfort, but in the reputation of the name under which you are vacationing.

The owner was extremely rude, and there was no kindness whatsoever. Specifically, I arrived with my family around 9 PM at the accommodation (there was chaos at the border). The owner was very angry that we arrived so late, and he barely allowed me into the accommodation, wanting to charge me for the apartment again. Only the next day, after talking to people from Nikana, did he calm down, but that was it. In any case, over the course of ten days, the apartment was cleaned only once, the terrace was terrible, the kitchen was inadequate, the dishes were reminiscent of the communist era, the gas did not work, and the beds were metal.

We are currently staying at this accommodation; today marks our ninth day, and so far, our bed linens and towels have been changed twice. They even left us a few extra towels. We have nothing but praise for the owner; he is not intrusive yet incredibly kind. We parked under a tree, where the birds have quite 'marked' our car, and before heading to the beach, he washed our vehicle for us. The accommodation was very clean when we arrived, and the refrigerator was new and unused. The bathroom is modest, but everything functions well. My only complaint is that there is no cleaning equipment in the rooms, such as a mop and broom, so we could clean daily ourselves. Those who are bothered by this can simply buy their own. The beach is only a 5-minute walk away; you cross the main road and walk along a path between the surrounding houses. We are very satisfied with the accommodation and have no regrets whatsoever. The food at the tavern is exceptional; all portions are 5 euros for guests, which is amusing, and the food is truly wonderful.

We are currently staying at Sakis' place in Halkias. As described, it is exactly as stated. There are no lies or deceit in the accommodation description. The owners are good people, and the food in his tavern is excellent and the cheapest in the region. You can't get better for less money. The man even washed our car while he was cleaning the yard. There is always hot water for showering, and peace and quiet are guaranteed. Parking is secured and always available, which is very important for Limenaria. The gas station is 10 meters away, a larger market is 300 meters away, and the beach is just 50 meters away. If we return to Limenaria, we will definitely book again with Sakis.

We have just returned from our vacation in these apartments. A few additional details regarding the description: the appliances in the studios are newer than shown in the photographs, the refrigerators are larger, and the televisions are either flat-screen or smart. It is possible to book lunch instead of dinner, which suited us well since we returned to the apartments due to the heat. Lunch is arranged in advance, with a significant discount for small children, featuring authentic Greek cuisine - pasticio, stuffed peppers, and tomato, as well as the renowned lamb. Otherwise, everything is as described; the studios are quite decent for the price, but I would recommend them primarily for those traveling by car. The hosts are exceptionally kind, providing us with packages of water, water guns for the children, and a magnet with a small towel at the end. All these little gestures mean a lot and reflect the hospitality of the hosts. Everything is clean, with bed linens and towels changed every three days, and there is also soap and dish detergent available.

In this accommodation, nothing bothers us at all. All praises and recommendations for the accommodation. As far as we are concerned, it deserves an excellent 5. Of course, a big compliment goes to everyone from Nikana as they offer excellent accommodations. We have been loyal to them for five years and have no plans to change.

Although the beach is not particularly impressive, you can drive to numerous beautiful beaches on Thassos. I stayed from June 29, 2020, to July 14, 2020, and the prices are quite reasonable. I highly recommend Halkias in Limenaria.

An excellent accommodation in a building that does not look appealing from the outside, but once you step inside, you discover that it is exactly as depicted in the pictures. If all the units in the images appeal to you, you will be satisfied with what you have paid for (as we were). We stayed in studio number 2 and had three terraces on two sides of the house. The terraces are narrow, two of which do not have awnings, while one does. The view from the terraces is not representative, but that is not solely the owner's fault. The owner is polite and well-meaning, and upon departure, he will give you a small gift as a memento (a very nice gesture), and you may reciprocate if you feel inclined. In the accommodation, we found two towels for each bed, a sponge, dishwashing liquid, and liquid soap in the bathroom. This is a rarity in Greece. The bed linens and towels are changed every five days. The location is such that there is no good beach in front of the property, which may suit some and not others. However, from there, you have the option to visit excellent beaches that are not far away, depending on your preferences. In short, a good accommodation with our recommendation, unremarkable from the outside but more than decent on the inside.

We stayed at the Halkias villa from September 15 to 25. The owner, Sakis, as many have already noted, is exceptionally kind and welcomed us with a smile. The room we reserved for two had a double bed and two bunk beds, offering a beautiful view of the sea from the terrace, as well as a view of the main road where ATVs create significant noise. The apartment was fully equipped with dishes, a sponge, detergent, and the bathroom had liquid soap, toilet paper, towels, and immaculate bed linens, which were changed every fifth day. On Sundays, we enjoyed live music in the tavern in the courtyard. Finally, before our departure, the host presented us with a small token of appreciation – a souvenir.

On September 17th, we returned after a 14-day stay in this studio. First, I would like to commend Nikana for the arrangements and reservations, which went smoothly, and especially a charming blonde girl (unfortunately, we do not know her name) who was at the agency in Potos during our stay and was very helpful with some urgent questions about life on the island. We would like to thank her again. Now, regarding the studio and location, we stayed in a four-bed room even though we had booked a triple room, thanks to the kindness of the owner and, of course, because it was available. The building itself is older but in excellent condition, while the interior exudes a true homely atmosphere, which it indeed is. The room was huge with a nicely furnished kitchen (sufficient cookware) and, importantly for us, an excellent gas stove and a large refrigerator. The furniture may be older, but it is functional; there are two terraces, one smaller overlooking the courtyard and one larger facing the beach. Everything is tidy and clean. We did not notice any mosquitoes, and there were only a few wasps. Some might complain about the noise from the main road, but it did not bother us, and after midnight, it is hardly noticeable, if it is present at all. The beach in front of the studio has a bar and sunbeds, but it is not the best for our taste. This might be the biggest drawback of this studio, which is the lack of personal transportation. If you have your own car, the entire island is at your fingertips, and for a very affordable accommodation, you can have a wonderful vacation. If you are without a vehicle, it can be a minor issue, as the beach is on one side and the center of Limenarija is on the opposite side, about 1.4 and 1.2 km away via the main road, which is a bit inconvenient, especially with children. The owners are kind and unobtrusive, and the studio has its own tavern where you can arrange for lunch, and every Sunday from 1 PM, you can enjoy live Greek tavern music.

It is worth mentioning that the Halkias studio does not have access to the courtyard of the vehicles, due to the tavern terrace occupying the entire courtyard. The parking is located in front of the studio gate, on a large expansion next to the main road, but it is wide enough, safe, and well-lit at night. During our farewell, the owner Sakis shared a small symbolic gift, a towel with cream named Limenarija, as a keepsake, and we presented him with a bottle of wine from our region.

We spent six nights at the Halkias studio from September 2 to 8, 2019. We were accommodated in a small studio number 6, which boasts an excellent view of the sea, which was our top priority. Given that it is a small studio, it features a fully equipped kitchen, ideally positioned and very practical. The hygiene was satisfactory, the bed was comfortable, and the linens and towels were exceptionally clean. The owner is unobtrusive and completely laid-back. We only saw him in the morning when he went shopping, and since we spent our days at the beaches until late in the evening and returned to nearby places, we came back quite late at night, so everything was neatly locked (both the tavern and the building). The tavern operates during the day and has no guests in the evening, ensuring a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Additionally, the main road is not busy at night, so even though our studio faces it, we enjoyed absolute tranquility for sleeping and resting. For the price we paid, we are more than satisfied with both the hygiene and the location of the villa, which is about 1.5 km from the strict center of Limenaria. About 1 km from the villa, there is a large and well-stocked market, as well as bakeries, so it takes about 40 minutes of leisurely walking to get there and back. The beach across from the Halkias studio is a ten-minute walk away via a shortcut across the main road. It is usable and located near the Plasir hotel and a small beach bar, where you can enjoy a drink on their terrace right by the beach. The location of the Halkias studio is perfect for exploring the beaches on the western and southern sides of the island, as well as visiting the ethnos village of Teologos. All in all, we would be very eager to return to the Halkias studio.

The apartment was quite spacious for a family of four. All the appliances we had at our disposal were in working order, and the cleanliness was satisfactory. We had the best landlord since we have been vacationing in Greece for about 25 years.

Apartment number 4 features two narrow terraces and does not overlook the sea, yet it is spacious. It includes a double bed and bunk beds.

We spent 13 days in the apartment. Sakis is a very pleasant host; upon our arrival, he welcomed us with a package of water and wished us a pleasant stay. During our 13 days, the bed linens were changed twice, and the apartment was very clean. We had both mosquito tablets and a lamp, and fortunately, there were no mosquitoes. Our apartment had a spacious terrace with a view of the sea, and although the highway was on that side, it was quiet and peaceful for sleeping in the evenings. Besides towels, we had liquid soap in the bathroom, and the kitchen was fully equipped, even with dish detergent and a new sponge. From the apartment, you can easily reach all the beaches, and when you arrive, there’s a beach nearby for your first day, so you don’t have to rush around. In front of the apartment, there is parking, and you can always wash your car when you return from the beach. Upon leaving, the host gave us a gift, something that hasn’t happened to us in the last 20 years of vacationing in Greece. All praise for the villa, and also for Nikana; every vacation through them has been fantastic.

We arrived on July 15th in Limenariu, specifically around 5 PM. The owner greeted us in front of the tavern and handed us the key. Sakis is generally an unassuming man, yet always ready to assist. He was accommodating to all our needs. He even provided us with an extension cord. There are no mosquito nets in the rooms, but we found a mosquito repellent device along with several tablets. We stayed in studio number 1 from July 15th to 29th. The studio is spacious and features two fantastic terraces with exceptional views of the sea from both. The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials. The internet functioned adequately. They changed the linens and towels every 5 days. We were truly satisfied.

We spent 17 days there and saw most of the studios; the best ones are number 8 and 1. In these, the refrigerator has been replaced with a large one that includes a freezer, which is not commonly found in Greece. Studio 8 also features a smart TV, if that matters to anyone. They are spacious, and I would definitely recommend number 8, as it is the most spacious, and the terrace offers privacy—there are no "neighbors". It is separated from Limenaria, providing a peaceful atmosphere. We will certainly be happy to return as guests of this villa.

Of the three offered properties, we chose the Halkias studios, based on the reviews from its guests that we read on this site. At first glance, the courtyard appears neglected; the overgrown weeds at the boundary of Halkias and neighboring properties give the impression that you have stumbled into a small jungle. However, as soon as you sit down at a table in the tavern (Halkias tavern is on the ground floor, the studios are upstairs), you understand that this greenery provides you with a pleasant freshness. The building housing the studios is older, but everything in it functions well. The two of us were accommodated in studio no. 4, a spacious room with a double bed and a bunk bed, a bathroom, a kitchenette, and two terraces. Since it was the end of the season, there was no crowd, so Sakis and Cleopatra kindly offered us a four-bed studio. Unlike other accommodations, here we had liquid soap, a sponge, and dishwashing liquid, as well as an electric mosquito repellent. We also had enough outlets for a computer, mobile phones, a camera battery charger, and electronic cigarettes. The only issue we faced on the first night was with the pillows: they were very low and thin, almost nonexistent. The next day, the landlady brought us additional pillows (of the same dimensions, as there were no others), so we solved the problem by packing two pillows into one pillowcase. The owners are accommodating and unobtrusive, but they will gladly answer any questions you have about the beaches, local gastronomic specialties, the island's history, archaeological sites...

A heartfelt recommendation for a spacious four-person studio featuring two large terraces. The owner and his wife are very warm-hearted individuals, always ready to assist with anything you may need. Although the building itself is older, everything is functional. There are two excellent beaches located 500 meters and one kilometer from the studio.

I wholeheartedly recommend Halkias Studios. The accommodation is beautiful, comfortable, and clean; you will receive everything you need without any hassle. The owner is a wonderful man, accommodating and warm-hearted. The food at the restaurant is top-notch, with generous portions at reasonable prices. Right across from the accommodation, there is a beach that we found excellent. Not far from there is the center of Limenaria, which you can reach by car or on foot. We are absolutely thrilled with the accommodation and give our highest recommendations! It may not be luxurious, but it is quite decent.

Halkias studio is situated in an excellent location for exploring the island by car. The owner is very kind and accommodating, and the price is great. Everything was beautiful.

The accommodation is good. While it may appear somewhat uninviting from the outside, the interior is truly solid and clean. The owners are exceptionally fair and kind. Everything mentioned in the offer is genuinely honored. The advantages include its secluded and tranquil location, as well as the favorable price-to-quality ratio of the accommodation. The drawbacks are the distance from Limenaria, which is about 1.5 km, and due to the main road and the absence of a pedestrian path, walking to the settlement can be unsafe. We booked 5 nights at Halkias accommodation through Nikana, as that was all that was available. The accommodation is solid, definitely the cheapest during that period (late July). The hosts are unobtrusive and are willing to assist if you need anything. There are too many mosquitoes and wasps, which is generally a downside for all of Thassos. The accommodation is located in front of Limenarija, and the nearest store is about 600-700 meters away. I do not recommend this accommodation without a car. The closest beach is about a hundred meters away and can be visited in a few days.

The four-person studio is spacious but in need of renovation, particularly the bathroom (we stayed for 7 days in studio 8). The three-person studio (with bunk beds) was quite decent (we stayed for 3 days in studio 5). Cleanliness was satisfactory, with good Wi-Fi on the upper floor and decent Wi-Fi on the ground floor. Cleaning and maintenance occur every 5 days. The hosts are unobtrusive and relaxed. The noise from the main road isn't too alarming. The beach below the studio is great for sunbathing and afternoon relaxation. All in all, it's impossible to find better value for the money. At least that's my experience, and I will begin my detailed search for price/quality along the Halkidiki/Tasos route starting this November for next year. We spent 12 days at the Halkias studio and we are completely satisfied with both the accommodation and the living conditions. The hosts are exceptionally pleasant and hospitable, which greatly contributes to a relaxed atmosphere during the vacation. This was our first time vacationing in Thassos, and our impressions are very positive regarding both the accommodation and the island itself, along with its numerous beaches, although we couldn’t visit them all. All in all, it was worth seeing Thassos and spending our holiday there. A warm recommendation for anyone planning a vacation in Thassos, and all praise to the agency Nikana, which made an effort to inform us thoroughly and kindly about everything!

The accommodation is entirely satisfactory, and the host is exceptionally kind. It is situated in a beautiful location relative to the beaches and Limenaria. I would also like to mention that the studio, as well as the entire property, is remarkably clean and offers a lovely view of the sea.

Regarding the accommodation, it is quite decent. The building appears uninviting from the street, however, the interior is clean, the furniture is perfectly fine, and the studios are equipped with air conditioning, mosquito nets, and even mosquito repellents! We were welcomed with coffee and a welcome drink, and upon returning from our walk, we found a package of water, liquid soap, and toilet paper waiting for us in the apartment. Considering we stayed from September 9th to September 19th, and were affected by wildfires, the owner of the villa offered us an additional 7 days free of charge due to the cancellation of guests who did not arrive out of fear of the fires. That was something that left us speechless! Therefore, all praises to the hosts, who were polite, unobtrusive, and hospitable. We did not stay the extra 7 days, but we would certainly return to their accommodation.

The studio is satisfactory, located just before the center of Limenaria (about a 10-minute walk). The owner was constantly present at the villa. The room is clean and contains all the necessary amenities, as well as parking in front of the villa. Most guests are Serbian. There is also a tavern within the villa, but it was closed as we were at the end of the season.

The rooms and hallways are clean, bed linens and towels are indeed changed every 5 days, and air conditioning is included in the price. In the evening, decorative candles are lit in the courtyard and on the stairs. The hosts are friendly, and there is a tavern on the ground floor where you can arrange for delivery or dinner. It is not very crowded, so there is no music or noisy guests. Parking is right next to the main road, which is convenient if you are visiting other beaches. Although the main road is nearby, noisy vehicles rarely pass by, and you are sheltered by the courtyard. We stayed on the ground floor, so we did not have a sea view. The location is at the entrance to Limenaria, and the city center is about a 20-minute walk (5 minutes by car, inconvenient for parking). The nearest beach is a 5-minute walk (a hundred meters across the main road and then through a path). There are two gas stations (without LPG) and a car wash (which you need if you are visiting some beaches) within a 1 km radius, and there is also a bus station nearby if you wish to explore the island. Wi-Fi is password-protected (you do not have to log in if you do not want to, but you have that option), and it works slower in the evening when everyone returns to the villa.

Wonderful, kind hosts. The accommodation is excellent, the bed is comfortable, the kitchenette is functional, the bathroom is modern, and the terrace offers a beautiful view of the sea! Everything is clean and tidy; nothing more is needed. The beach is just across the street! If you are traveling by car, there are several beaches nearby to choose from and switch every day.

During the period from July 28 to August 11, 2013, I traveled with my wife and two children, aged 13 and 11. The studio is spacious, featuring two long but narrow terraces. The furniture is solid and quite well-maintained. The refrigerator is small. Due to its location, it is suitable only for those arriving by car. The air conditioning is included in the price.

First, I would like to express my gratitude to Magda, Atanasios, and of course Ceci for the wonderful 15 days they made largely unforgettable. I also owe a great deal of thanks to the Nikana agency, without which this vacation would not have been possible. Thank you very much. What more can I say when everything has essentially been said? I was with my wife and son in the second half of July. This location suits me exceptionally well, and my personal opinion is that the Limenarijska beach from the Grand Beach Hotel towards the town is unremarkable, but extremely usable. The quality of the water is excellent, there are no crowds (which is a remarkable advantage)... I do not write this lightly, as I have come to know Tasos well over my 5-6 years of vacationing. Of course, other beaches are fantastic, but there is a prevailing opinion that Limenarijska is almost unusable. As for the Halkias property itself, all praise. Cleanliness is at a good level, with peace and quiet. All the conditions for a pleasant and tranquil vacation are met. The view is excellent (which is very important to me). I will not waste words on the hospitality of the hosts. They are exceptional people. The main road did not bother me. It probably also influenced the place where I usually live (across from the bus station), so this highway felt like a vacation to me. So, for those interested, there are already enough descriptions and photos to create an image of the place where they will vacation. I have always avoided repeating vacations in the same villa, as I believe one should visit as many places as possible, but I can say that in the future I wish to be a guest of the Halkias family again.

I spent time with friends and my girlfriend. It is about a ten-minute walk from the center of Limenarija, whether by road or along the beach, or just a minute by car! The hygiene is satisfactory, the accommodation is decent, and the view from the terrace is stunning. The only issue is that it is right next to the main road, so the first morning vehicles will likely wake you up until you get used to it after a couple of days... The beach is just 100 meters across the street, and you can enjoy a morning dip... just cross the street... but that beach is nothing special, it is characterless, huge, and long... suitable for barbecuing and drinks late into the night... Just a kilometer or two away is the beautiful Tripity beach. When you head towards Limenarija, you will come across a modest restaurant, recognizable by its lantern lights and dried octopus tentacles hanging, waiting for you to devour them... make sure to try the dried octopus... it’s fantastic! Otherwise, Limenarija is perfect for those planning to explore the island! The nightlife is best in Potos, which is 5-6 km away, and if you want a relaxed evening, Limenarija is the place to be! Somewhere halfway from Limenarija to Potos, on a cliff and a sharp bend, there is a food truck that doesn’t operate during the day but is open at night... here you can enjoy the best and cheapest gyros, in my opinion, on Tasos, with a stunning view of the sea from the cliff at dusk...

In August 2011, my wife and I, through our dear friend Ana Nikolić, booked accommodation at the Halkias studio in Limenaria (Thassos). We were looking for an affordable place to stay: to be clear, our ideal vacation involves a tent in a pine forest, by the shore, with as few people as possible. The accommodation was more than decent. The staff of the studio - Mr. Sakis, his wife Marta, and Ceca - a Bulgarian responsible for cleanliness - were more than kind and unobtrusive. We were sent off with a liter of homemade white wine. The Halkias studio, a three-story house, is a typical provincial Greek "hotel," separated from the sea by the main road of Thassos. And between the road and the sea, there is a junkyard. Therefore, we have: in the foreground the Halkias Studio, in the second - the main road, in the third the junkyard, and in the fourth the sea. The beach in front of the studio is a long sandy beach, just a three-minute walk away. Within a 1000 m radius, there are a car wash, two gas stations, and a shop that is open until 10 PM - it seems to me that it has everything we need. Limenaria is a five-minute drive to the east. On the other side of the studio (to the west towards Skala Marion), also about 1000 m away, is the well-known store Iris. And of course, there are many beaches and coves.
